Paul was very helpful and very nice with our questions about carp fishing

Went to Go outdoors as my son would like to get into fishing, we have no clue when it comes to this hobby. We were met with Paul from the Exeter branch who was extremely helpful pointing out the best rod to buy and keeping the cost down, he pointed out a rod that was actually cheaper than the one I had originally picked up. Really impressed with Paul's knowledge and helpfulness we will be going back.

Myself and son went in today 12/4/26 to get a few bits to update his fishing gear. We was greeted by a lovely gentleman called Paul, who was very knowledgeable on fishing equipment and guided us in the right direction. We ended up buying two new carp rods and two reels plus a few little bits and pieces. One very happy son

Robbie was very helpful with both the purchase and installation of my roof tent. Had great people skills and knowledge.

We went to Go outdoors Exeter and were looking for a new back pack and a few other items. Iain was very helpful and informative.

Helmet is great, great fit and turned up at store on time. Although I still have not received my membership card or have a number.
I also never received a notification that the helmet was in store.

Sofiia is amazing. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Helped me to get the right coat for my next adventure. Thank you.

Great service and the staff were very helpful

I was looking for some walking shoes and one of your staff members called Lewis asked me if I needed any help which I did. He advised on the different shoes and how waterproof they were. He was very polite and helpful and fetched me at least three pairs to try on. He couldn’t have been more helpful and it was just generally a very easy shopping experience.

We visited with our 9year old son. Who is obsessed with fishing. Paul, was the expert who served us and was so happy, helpful and delivered great customer service. So much so, we wandered round the shop after paying for the first lot of shopping and purchased more items. Well done Paul!

I visited the store today looking for a RidgeMonkey compact toastie maker. Paul (in the fishing section) served me with excellent advice and friendly customer service allowing me to remove the product from the box to look at and compare to other similar products in stock. How customers should be treated!

I’m very new to fishing and the bloke behind the called paul till noticed I chose a mistake with the things I had picked and and politely pointed it out and helped me with what to choose

Paul in angling sales is just superb,he's very knowledgeable and always wants to help,however the angling stock was very poor I went online and made a list of nearly £250 of Angling products only to be very disappointed as nothing was in stock..
2 years ago it was 100% better with fresh and frozen bait wich made me come in 3-4 times a week and always spent good dollerI just dont get why you did this...

Paul was so helpful with his knowledge about fishing and helped me buy my fist start up set of fishing gear! Can’t rate him enough

Was greeted by team members on my way in and around the store as I browsed. Larry on footwear was great as that was the main reason for my visit. Larry has very good knowledge and talked in depth about the features off the footwear I was looking at.

On Saturday we took our son to Go Outdoors to look at walking boots. We were quickly helped by Larry who was professional and friendly. He gave us really good advice and informed us of some good offers available.
Whilst trying the boots on the area became busy with other customers. Beteeen Larry and Harry all customer received a good service from what we observed. My son was really happy with his walking boots. My husband was also impressed and ended up buying himself a pair too!
Thanks Larry (and Harry) for your help to get what we needed. We are happy customers!
