Amazing service with a smile
Excellent customer service from Agnieszka, who was helpful, professional but also had a great sense of humour and obviously enjoys the people side of her job. I’d highly recommend this store, they price matched an item for me then took 10% off that for a genuine bargain price. Thank you.

Friendly and helpful staff
Staff willing to find answers to questions they're not sure about. Store friendliness and a wide array of products on offer at great prices. I can lose myself for hours there comparing brands and educating myself about any price/quality aspects.

Take socks with you!
We visited the Fort William store to buy a pair of walking boots. The sales assistant was clearly new and wasn’t really able to offer much help, which was a shame. I asked for a spare pair of walking socks to try the boots on with, which I had been able to do in other stores. I had to buy some socks in order to try the boots with them. On the plus side, I got a discount for being a member and for having a DofE card. We will visit again but a thought for future is to offer socks to try boots.

Chuffed with our Tent
Chuffed with our Tent! We arrived at our destination in the Highlands only to discover we’d forgotten the tent polls for the tent we had! So we dashed an hour away to GoOutdoors, and they had the best tent on offer! It blows up tubes within its frame. It’s absolutely brilliant! Staff were great too! Really helpful and friendly. So glad we forgot our tent poles, cause now we have a super tent! 🤩

The staff were good
The staff were good. There didn’t seem to be much variety in store but I guess it’s a small express store so there wouldn’t be? The speakers are broken and very crackly radio/music is played loudly in store. It’s not great. I am going to return the OEX inflatable mat I bought. It was recommended by the staff there but it doesn’t feel very well made and on closer inspection it has a weight limit that I currently exceed. I wasn’t aware of this at the time.

GO Outdoors was the best stocked camping shop in Fort William. We needed a new tent as ours got damaged in wind, and they had exactly what we wanted in stock. The price was great, especially with the extra 15% off for June.
