I honestly can’t fault the staff who work at this store. I have had many return visits to this store for multiple purchases and I am always greeted by friendly staff who couldn’t be more helpful. The store is always incredibly clean and tidy. I spoke briefly to the assistant manager Katrina (possibly wrong spelling) who has helped me several times over and has offered endless advice on the products I have enquired about or purchased. She is an absolute credit to this store and is a contributing factor to my continued return to this store instead of purchasing online.

James Matthews solo traveller
Well i was looking to buy a new tent and a young lady came over to help me. She was really helpful in showing me different tents and what was best for my self as a solo traveller. She advised me on other items as well. And I was really impressed with the knowledge she had. Her name was beckey. Iv now decided what tent I want and will purchase it this coming weekend. I also went into the other store in Inverness to buy an air mattress and Sammy was really helpful in picking the right one for me. I think all 2 stores iv been in in Inverness. The girls are very helpful

Laura, Luke & Giles were super helpful, as I walked in and mentioned I was looking for a particular set of ice axes the apparently slick team-work cogs took motion and Laura immediately set-to finding the items behind the scenes, whilst Luke & Giles warmly welcomed me and explained that Laura was on the case. A few minutes later Laura apparently in the guise of St Nicholas arrived with my shiny lovely new DMM Vertex ice axes!

Discount arrangements and Passive aggressive staff.
The offers need to be made obvious and not hidden so that I cannot utilise my D of E discount. The whole organisation of the discount/member prices is still horrendous. I thought it had got better but no. The online prices also need to reflect in store prices instead of messing people around.
The member of staff (supervisor) at the time was also very passive aggressive, and having shopped in Go Outdoors for many years has certainly not encouraged me to shop in Go Outdoors again.

Found what I wanted
I knew what I wanted when I went into the shop (walking boots), was able to find one on display, had to ask a member of staff for the other. She did this promptly but could have been a little more welcoming and friendly.

One was in the store twice today. Several members of staff on both occasions were standing around doing nothing!! Visit from Area mgr I believe. KASIA was the only member doing any work. Her customer service skills were naturally effortless. Credit to your company
