I visited Go Outdoors in Macclesfield to buy a new pair of walking boots. Ethan and Sif served me and were very helpful in providing advice and fetching multiple pairs of boots for me to try on. Excellent customer service and is the perfect example of why we still need physical stores!

I was very impressed with the service I got from Amy. She was friendly and helpful. If she didn't know the answer she went and found out the answer. I had been in a few shops in Macclesfield on the same day, in some of the shops the assistants didn't even look up and acknowledge you were there. It was refreshing to get the service I got in Go Outdoors Macclesfield.

I was very impressed by the service I received from Sif when I wanted shoes and walking boots. He was very fast in finding lots of shoes for me to try on, appearing twice from the stockroom with piles of boxes, catering brilliantly for my unusual requirements and preferences. He was also very knowledgeable about walking shoes, and knew which brand to recommend. I was very pleased with both my experience and my two new pairs of shoes. Thank you, Sif!

I went into GO Outdoors the other day to buy a couple of folding chairs that were on sale. As I was about to buy the chairs I was asked whether I had a loyalty card. I did not and was about to dismiss the idea when the very pleasant and friendly sales assistant, Joe, pointed out the huge discount I would get on the chairs if I were a loyalty card member. I quickly signed up for that card! It took about 30 seconds and I scored a bargain. I was really impressed that Joe cared more about my customer experience and giving me a good deal than just ringing up the sale. I know a loyalty card is an incentive to shop more at GO Outdoors (and they get your data), but as long as I get something out of it too, then we both win.

We visited Macclesfield Go Outdoors to look for new walking boots for my teenage son. Excellent advice from Steve who was friendly and knowledgeable and took the time to work out which boots would be best for my son. We bought a pair of Merrell boots which he is finding very comfortable and supportive for his ankles.

We used to go to the larger Stockport branch but it’s often difficult to get someone to help in there. Whereas, although the Macclesfield branch is smaller, the staff are always helpful and we’re more likely to find what we’re looking for and have a positive experience. So we always go to the Macclesfield branch now. Thanks again.

Was time to replace my trusty old peter storm boots for a new pair, great boots , and a great price, especially when the very helpful Anders informed me that there was an extra 15 percent off on the bank holiday Monday I was there, great shopping experience, thanks 😄
