Craig was a great help with an issue I had with a tent. My issue was resolved in a timely manner and the service I received was exceptional. I required an exchange last minute for a camping trip and the team were able to accommodate this. I was left extremely satisfied and will definitely return to this same store for future outdoor equipment.

Popped in the Manchester, Ancoats branch today.
Was just looking, also thinking about buying a bike.
Got talking to Simon who works on bikes.
Simon was really knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.
I walked out with a bike and am very pleased with it.
Craig served me at the counter and was a really nice guy.
I'll be going back in, I didn't realise how big the store was. 👍

I spoke to a real human person!
In this day and age of mulit national, blue chip corporate megasteuctures, penetrating the AI facade of customer service is an increasingly impossible task, so when I phoned go outdoors today and got through to Carmen, my faith in humanity was restored (either that or AI actually passes the Turing test now). But Carmen helped me with a couple of enquiries, one of which I could have actually done myself so thanks again for that. I normally write silly, but positive reviews on sites like this, but I feel this is too important. today was a stark reminder of the importance of human connection in customer services and Carmen was truly exemplary. Thank you.
