Went to go outdoors newton Abbot to get some last minute camping equipment and I was struggling what to get and the store assistant Millie was great and helped me get what I needed, highly recommend.

I had a really positive experience during my visit today. Millie who assisted me was friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful.

Visited the store again yesterday! Staff always have welcoming smiles and never fail to ask how I am when I walk in. Abbi and Millie are always chatty and happy to help me. Thanks guys 👍

Communication please!! I placed my order on 9th April 2026 and the email received back stated that you would send email with info that it was in store at Newton Abbot. However no email received and I called the store this morning and they had received it, I then collected it. The store assistant couldn't understand why I had not been informed as I did say that I placed my order on 9.4.26 and he admitted that this was a long time.
Very poor service from a national company, most companies like yours the comms is second to none, so what happened to your customer service this time??
Some recompense such as a voucher to spend in store would make up for a poor experience that I have received with my order. This is no reflection in the staff at Newton Abbot store as their customer service is always very good. This is a failure in your comms system.
Also I fail to understand why your stores are not allowed to take customer orders in store, I tried to do this at the Torquay store.

I needed to buy thermals and assistant said that she would need to go to store room to get them. It was only after she came back that I realised that she was for to go home and had stayed up help me. Very friendly and professional service. Thank you Isla.

It was my first time in the shop as I don’t go into town very often and I don’t usually go into ‘outdoor’ shops.
I was tasked, by my son, to post his UPS parcel. There was a problem and Isla supported me with it. She called on Jo for confirmation and both aided me to produce the correct documents and reseal the parcel.
I had such a pleasant experience when it could have been a disaster and my son’s parcel is off to Las Vegas where he lives.
I will recommend the service to others.
I was also impressed by the shop which wasn’t over loaded and looked easy to navigate - I will bear it in mind when looking for gifts for my grandchildren.

Called into this store today to grab a bargain from the sale rail. A young lady called Jo served me and was very pleasant and helpful. I got a great discount on a North Face T-Shirt so happy with that. I have been here several times before and will visit again. Thank you for your service!

Popped in to Newton Abbot branch to get some walking boots. Lots of choice and good value. They had my size (13) which is rare with quite a few options.
The lady who served me (Maria) was chatty, enthusiastic and super helpful.

Maria was very helpful with our walking boots purchase. She carried our boots to the till. I didn't get the guy at the tills name, he was equally friendly and attentive. A good experience throughout.
