Huge shoutout to Maria! She made our shopping trip so much easier and more enjoyable. She was super friendly, patient with all my questions, and gave great recommendations. Excellent customer service—I’ll definitely be back because of her!

I was served by Maria who was very helpful and nice while I took time trying on and choosing the right walking shoes.

Millie and Isla were polite, friendly and super efficient with their service. I have mobility issues which can make shopping difficult at times without support so I thank them for making the experience extremely positive. This branch held the item I needed to replace so “Happy customer” and will return to the store 🙂

Myself and husband bought a pair of walking boots and were highly impressed by Maria’s patience and helpfulness.
We bought the boots for a trip to Prague where most of the streets are cobbled, so we had to endure that they were suitable .

Isla and Milly gave absolutely great service and knew any information we needed. They were polite and friendly.

I visited the Newton Abbot store for last minute gifts. I was helped by both Abbi and Isla who were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Useful when you don't know what you need! I would definitely recommend based solely on my interactions with these two ladies. Excellent service sadly lacking in a lot of places these days but not here! Thank you for all your help - gift recipients very happy!

We were looking for walking shoes. We were served by Maria who was friendly and helpful.

Staff always nice and friendly in store. Maria was very helpful as she was new it took a little while to find the shoes I wanted in store room. Got the shoes and a waterproof spray and Maria helped me and advised me on what to buy. Very helpful.

The service provided by the shop was excellent.
The foods were well displayed and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Our assistant, Maria, although relatively new to the job, ensured that we were well looked after.
The new shoes that we purchased were of excellent quality and good value.

We went in the store just before closing and Isla was really helpful about the membership card etc. We didn't feel rushed.

I highly recommend the Newton abbot store ,I visited Friday as I needed some walking boots & meet such a lovely lady worker who name was Maria, she was so helpful & attentive in helping me the right pair of boots for myself.

Had one of the best customer service experiences today 20th December 2025 with Isla and I believe the manager or supervisor working upstairs at around 12.30.

After explaining our nightmare with Millets online order which never arrived after three calls to customer service after ordering it the on the 5th of December.

Not only did they listen but they matched the price I had paid online. Honestly they have made my son and my Christmas. As the tent is his main Christmas present.
I felt listened to and I never expected them to go above and beyond when it wasn't their fault.

I was met by Isla & Millie, at the Newton Abbot store, both smilling , very knowledgable on all the products , agreed with me about lack of colour options in the mens section, ( but hey thats just a small thing in my head, who,s deciding over colour options Hmmm)
Anyway the point is both the girls are a credit to go outdoors, to be honest i would not have made a purchase, if it wernt for there service, Merry Christmas Isla & Millie, you deserve a lot more than a box of chocolates, thats my opinion.

Really lovely little store, well stocked with a variety of items and also great for click and collect orders! Very friendly staff, particularly Maria who was lovely and really friendly with my young daughter!
