Thank you Haleema for your help today with my new walking boots

I bought a pair of walking shoes from the Poole store today. I received excellent advice and service from Haleema. She explained the different brands on offer and was very patient when I needed to try different sizes. Overall a very enjoyable shopping experience, thank you.

Not even a one star

On the side of the building is parking which is a grey service area which doesn't belong to go outdoors and anyone is allowed to park there as long as it doesn’t interfere with the go outdoor entrance.

A member of staff or I would say a manager seems to think it’s ok to leave threatening notes on one’s windscreen.

If they took the time and look at the blue print they would see this.

The latest plastic covering note has melted onto the glass and is being problematic of taking off.

Maybe they should put more time into the customer then writing pointless notes

I was served by a young man called Adam. I called into The Go Outdoors store in Poole,looking for a gas canister and camping table. Adam gave great customer service offering to go and check the warehouse for the products. Sadly the table was t available but informed me I could order on line or check in the week as a delivery was due in. He carried the gas bottle to the checkout for me. Nothing seemed to much trouble for him. Thankyou Adam.

Normally at these big warehouse type stores it’s hard to find staff. I was very pleasantly surprised when a member of staff approached me and asked if I needed help. Quinn was very knowledgable and helped me choose the correct gas supply for my camping stove, I would have made the wrong decision without him. You are a credit to Go Outdoors Quinn, wish customer facing staff in other stores were this helpful.

Haleema helped me when I was choosing a pair of walking boots they even had my size 14s in stock .She was very very helpful and engaging without being pushy.I shall use thus store again

I ordered some sandals online. Delivery charges were reasonable and delivery was very quick. Unfortunately they were not a good fit so I returned them to my local store who were very helpful & arranged a full refund.

We were served by Haleema who was very helpful in sorting out trainers for out teenage grandson. Being a teenager he didn't communicate very well, but Haleema was very patient and was able to find trainers that were suitable and fitted well. Thank you Haleema

Haleema was very helpful, attentive and kind. She helped me find exactly what I needed today and came straight up to help, rather than wait. I appreciated this. Just the kind of retail assistance you want, effective but not pushy.

Haleema in Go outdoors in Poole on the shoe department is very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble . She has lots of patience and offers to put all the shoes back that I’ve tried on ! My only complaint is there’s not enough sizes to try on ! It’s nice to still have shops to browse and I would have bought 2/3 pairs but in the end I had to come home and go online through lack of stock

So much choice of sale items. Helpful, friendly staff (thanks Rebecca). A good store with everything you want for outdoor activities.

Im not one for shopping and hate browsing. I was in this shop for 3 hours! I love it. Most of the things you can buy are layed out and assembled so you really know what your buying. I would like to give Kim from the poole branch a special thank you for her knowledge and help, you are a credit to your company and I hope they value you for your hard work and helpful nature

The personal feel of the service from Haleema was excellent. She was efficient and friendly - both today and on my last visit a year ago. Other staff were helpful too and a good variety and choice of items.

Two young men, Ben and Quinn went above and beyond the call of duty and were really helpful. They did not give up until I was sorted and happy. If only all shop assistants were as helpful we would be in a better world. I would certainly recommend this store both for the products but mainly the staff.

Quinn & Ben were brilliant in explaining the options for travel mattresses and then tracking down the right one from the stock room when not on the shelves. Top job boys.

Had a nightmare with the click and collect side of this place and I’d avoid like the plague, Pay’d for an item 3 times in different stores showing stock only to be told they had no stock, and I’d get a refund, that's all well and good if you can wait days for the £450

Customer services are an absolute joke and waste of time, nearly 45 minutes on the phone and they were pointless and full of rubbish, no help what so ever.

So I had to drive a hour to my local store with no guarantees I can my money back, luckily Jake and Dave in the Poole store were fantastic and saved the review.

Thank you Jake and Dave for making a nightmare go away, you’re a credit to the firm.

Go-outdoors really need to sort its click and collect game out, used this in hundreds of places and never had an issue but yours is truly awful

I had phoned the store with an issue with a Berghaus 700XL Air Tent I bought back in April. This was my first time using it & unexpectedly one of the Air Tubes burst. I was able to bring the popped tube to the store & was helped by Dave who was able to get me a replacement out of one the tents. This absolutely saved my camping trip & was super grateful for the help I received.
