Fishing section
Fishing - Paul W. you could not get a better man for the job. Extremely friendly, approachable and knowledgable. Any tackle shop would be lucky to have him. Even spooled my reel in the shop and showed me a maggot/boilie bait presentation from a screenshot I showed him.
Also the rest of the guys in the fishing bit are great. Can’t fault any of them and never had anything less than a great experience in there.

I purchased a VERY expensive RAB coat…
I purchased a VERY expensive RAB coat and it leaks but misplaced the receipt. G.O only keeps the last few purchases on the system and would not help me return the item. NOT HAPPY !

Have to say...each time ive visited this place.
Ive felt the staff are abit unhelpful if you are from a certain community, they think we might not be worth talking to , that we might have no interest in mountaineering, cyclingz camping , very wring..i base my review on the way Ive felt after several visits.

The guy that was working on the fishing…
The guy that was working on the fishing department was very knowledgeable and pleasant to talk to an asset to your store. All the other staff were happy and friendly.

Fantastic experience at go outdoors pudsey
1/10/2025.Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Paul , who was super helpful and so kind to my 11 year old son. He took his time to help him choose the right things he needed for fishing and how to try and catch a pike, and told him where to go to find them. Thanks again we really appreciated your time 😁

Couldn't have been a better experience
My husband and I were looking for new walking shoes and boots. Will could not have been more helpful and attentive. We spent quite a while trying to find exactly what we wanted. His knowledge was extensive and enabled us to finally make purchases that we were really happy with. Holly completed what proved to be a very pleasant experience all round.

Helpful staff
Bought approach shoes. Staff member in shoe area was very helpful. Different staff member on checkout gave very good impression - confirmed shoe size, removed security tag, repacked shoes in box, polite and efficient. Good ambassador for the business.

Will and callum were a god send on footwear and click and collect. Both helped serve us with great care. Also found out it was callums last day so would lkke to wish him well with university. Thank you for this experience
