GO Outdoors - Scunthorpe Reviews 

Called into the store on a Saturday looking to buy a couple of lounge chairs and an 12v air pump. After asking a member of staff (Jake) for help in locating the pump he advised me on different types to ensure I chose the correct one then he sorted the chairs, carried all items to the checkout, opened a new till as there were people waiting, after serving a couple who were waiting he then served me and carried the items out to my car.
What a really great guy, from first asking for help he made sure I got total assistance throughout and in such a professional but very very pleasant, happy manner

I’m about to start a sponsored walk for charity over several days, and was looking for walking shoes or boots that would be suitable and not too heavy as it’s going to be hot while I’m walking. Lisa, offered to help me, she advised me and then brought out some walking shoes to try. I’m really happy with the pair I bought, Lisa’s help was great. I hadn’t used Go Outdoors for a while, but will definitely go again when I need something else.

Amy was super helpful when I came into the store to get my parcels today. She was extremely quick and efficient. After she even showed me where some sale hats were after I mentioned I might be in the market for a new hat.

Amy was very helpful today when i was looking for some trousers I had saw online but couldn’t find them in store. Nicky was a delight on the tills.

I visited the Scunthorpe store recently to collect an on line order, a pair of walking shorts. The colour wasn’t as described so I had to return them. The two ladies at the Customer Services desk, Jo and Nicky, were exceptionally helpful, issuing a refund straight away and advising on similar shorts from the extensive choice in the store which I might like to try. I found a perfect pair. I got a discount too with my new Go Outdoors Membership Card. Thanks to Jo and Nicky’s their helpful advice my visit to the store was very pleasant and a success :)

Friendly shop assistants that knew the products and were knowledgeable and helpful.

Recently planning to go on regular camp trips with a group and found some perfect starts for it all with reasonable pricing, even better with the membership card. Nicky was very sweet and funny while checking out items, lovely to chat to and easily approachable

Waited 2 weeks for confirmation of delivery to store. Visited store when passing, items delivered to store within 3 days. Nobody thought to let me know they was ready to collect. Very poor.

A great store. Staff very friendly and helpful. Special mention to Jake who was very knowledgeable and patient with me when I was trying to buy the right patio gas bottle for my fire pit and basically didn't have a clue!

I went to the Scunthorpe store today to buy walking boots. I was helped by Jane who advised on my choice, brought the size I needed and a box of socks to help me make sure I had the right size. Then Jane took all my clothing I was buying to the tills for me. Jane was fab! Then at the till, we were served by Nicky who was helpful, chatty & polite. From start to finish, we had the best service - thank you Nicky & Jane :)

Really well stocked and it seems that GoOutdoors are back this summer, prices to rival the big online sites but with staff to advise and product to take there and then. Special shout out today for Nicky who couldn't be helpful enough, taking a load of stuff for me to put behind the tills as I was struggling, doing a price match and then sorting a change of house number on my card.

Really impressed by the staff and service.
