Staff, very helpful

Despite me turning up with a challenging customer complaint (a non-functioning watch, purchased online , using a gift card and before the change-over from Blacks to Go Outdoors), Miranda was polite, helpful and managed to find a solution for me. I am very grateful and would recommend the store in Skipton.

They were really helpful and friendly and also explained the membership scheme.

We wanted to buy a particular tshirt but unfortunately the store didn't have the size we wanted in stock. Miranda, shop assistant, immediately offered to see if she could order the correct size and have it delivered to our address ,which was great for us but also good for the store as by the time we'd left we'd spent over £100.
Miranda was not only very knowledgeable but courteous and friendly to boot.

I have difficulty finding the correct fitting or my feet. The shop was busy but Miranda took time and effort to find the best boots for me and even though the shop was busy she took time to ensure I was happy with the boots.

I was concerned about the time limit on parking thinking we had to be fast but Miranda put me at ease and said if you put your registration in their tablet you get 1 hour which was great Miranda continued to assist us in our purchases and gave great advise on products and would say she went above and beyond in helping us, a true professional salesperson, a credit to Go outdoors thank you

We were served by Miranda who was most helpful, kind and friendly. She was very knowledgeable about the different boots and was able to find the right size trousers which weren't out in the shop. So helpful. Thank you.

The staff are prepared to go the extra mile to find me an item that fitted

Bought a couple of hats priced at £18 each on the rack label. When I took these to the till I was charged £28. I queried this and was told that £18 was the member discount price. I spoke to the manager and we looked at the labelling, £18 In big bold font and above in very small print was the actual retail pricing. This contravenes trading standards. Where a shop has a loyalty scheme both the members and non member prices must have equal prominence and be unambiguous. The manager (Skipton branch) had a sarcastic manner. Needless to say we shall not shop at Go Outdoors again.

From the moment I stepped into the shop, the staff were friendly and helpful. I had quite a few items to research and Miranda was really knowledgeable. She helped me by suggesting different options and product. I was very happy with the service I received today. In fact, every time I've visited the Skipton store, the staff have been great and I've always come away with the products I needed and valuable advice.
