Excellent process from start to finish. Clear communications and delighted with the final product

They have great customer service, brilliant options and pricing and the install was seamless - final product looks fab! Was recommended by an Architect friend which is always a good sign!

Grabex were great to work with, I'd definitely use them again. They always responded in a timely fashion to my endless requests for changes to the designs for my french doors (Iwona was very helpful in this respect over many weeks of emails back and forth). The black aluminium looks stunning. I decided to buy the french doors "supply only" as my builder said he could fit them cheaper. Big mistake - I ended up having to get Grabex in to remedy the job when the builder fitted the doors back to front and refused to put them round the correct way once we noticed the doors were opening out instead of in. (He'd already plastered and painted around them). Worked out a fair price with Matt in customer services for Grabex to come and switch the doors and they were fab - they managed to remove the entire unit without so much as a scratch to the new plasterwork. I wish I'd gone with their fitters in the first instance.

Terrible after sales, called them back few years after installation as one window had bowed and was letting in air, nearly a month after asking for a call out and filling in certain forms we had no appointment, finally had to call myself to chase up an appointment, given one 2 weeks later, called on the morning to check and was told someone would be with me that day, 3.40 get a call to say nobody is coming and cant book anyone the next day either.

Then you get sarcastic people on the phone in aftersales.

We were looking o also have the back and front doors replaced as well with them, not now, their loss, I would now think twice about using them given our experience of the after sales and we have recommended them to a number of people up to now.

Grabex has installed 4 aluminium and 3 sash windows in our flat in central London. The service was outstanding from the quote to installation. Marta who did the quote/order for us was super helpful, adaptable and flexible. She went the extra mile to explain everything and she had to adapt the quote so many times to our final order- big shout out to her! Lucasz did the survey, he was lovely and very helpful. He gave instructions to our builders and was available to answer all our questions. The installation was the best part. 2 men installed all the windows in 2 days, made good with sand and cement around the windows- super clean, accurate and flexible. They worked with other contractors on site which deserves extra credit! Martin & Peter were incredible. The windows are of top quality, even white aluminium looks so good and elegant. The sash window came ready, with great locking mechanisms and looks so good. Time wise they were accurate in all stages. Strongly recommended and most certainly will use them again!

Grabex were by far the best contractor we had for our renovation project. From start to finish the service provided was excellent! Marta in Sales was very helpful and patient when dealing with changes in our requests and answering all our questions. Lukasz who did our survey was extremely helpful and clear in explaining everything with good level of detail and took my calls to answer questions even after the survey. The guys who did the installation were also great and super fast while also ensuring a good quality installation. The aluminium windows and door provided are very nice and of good quality, we also love the sash window that looks beautiful with a great finish. And finally, the aftercare team were also helpful with answering questions. I'm very happy with them and I'd 100% recommend Grabex windows to others, and would definitely use them again in the future when needed!

Fantastic service! I probably changed my mind at least 10 times when discussing the design for my house but Marta Bouziane had the patience of a saint and was really quick to re-quote and actually came up with some clever suggestion to save on cost but still have a high end finish. I will be honest id put a deposit down and even made the first payment of 40% and then thought I should probably read some reviews online before paying the full amount and there were some concerning things I read about Grabex finishes. I’m a general contractor and I’m very specific about finishes and making sure things are done to a high standard. Grabex definitely delivered and I couldn’t have asked for more. The install was overseen by Mario and he triple checked every window after the installers were done. He picked up on a few things I would have never noticed and made sure every millimetre of the surrounding were insulated and that all of the mitre joints were perfectly cut and cleaned before moving onto the next window. He even picked up on a slight defect in one of the panes of glass and had it replaced immediately. I plan on using Grabex in future for my clients houses and if anyone has any doubt or concerns please feel free to reach out to me and il be happy to show my house or any future jobs I can secure with them. Very pleased with the entire service and highly recommend them, can’t stress enough if you have read the negative reviews online and have any fears like I did they certainly do a great job with the finishes. I recommend asking for Mario specifically or Richard from the aftercare team if you have any issues, both these guys pay extra attention to details. In the design phase and quotation id highly recommend Marta too! She’s quick to respond and easy to get on the phone and will follow up even after it’s been passed on to the installation phase.

I heard about Grabex following some work they did for a neighbour installing the UPVC White - Bevel FLUSH Windows. Following this discussion, I had an email exchange with Greg Kowalczyk, who gave me a quote.

That said, Greg advised that a 30% deposit would be required and then 70% to be paid 48 hours prior to the installation.

I was astounded that a professional company (manufacturers) would expect the client to pay upfront for a job that was not delivered, yet alone completed.

In addition, I advised Greg that my neighbour mentioned that the 'making good' on the inside of the windows in their home was not done to a good standard and with that said, this was even more of a reason for me not to pay upfront prior to installation/delivery. I would expect that in these times, paying in full 48 hours to installation/delivery is a far reaching expectation. There are tonnes of warnings from banks and television programs advising of scams etc and even when undertaking large building projects, people are not expected to pay in full prior to the building works being completed. This should be a contravention to people's rights having to pay thousands of pounds upfront with no sight of windows/nor installation and making good of insides prior to the client satisfaction.

It is such a shame and left me feeling very disappointed - also given I explained to Greg that I had been scammed in the past.

Yes, customers are protected by the Consumer Rights Act, however, not sure why you mention this. As not really a route any client would like to go down.

I’ve had other ‘Bespoke’ work completed, as you so put it and all paid after fitting. Not a problem for other firms.

I made no comparison to your company re scams. My point was the fact that I advised you of the reason as to why I would never pay upfront for home improvements.

Following my last review, Grabex have corrected their approach to us and have now provided excellent after care support by painting the surrounds of the window themselves.
I can now recommend the company.

It has been nearly a year since Grabex installed a new glazed kitchen roof and a kitchen window for me. I thought I would wait to leave a review until the product and the work had been through some winter weather and I could assess how successful the installation had been. I am pleased to say that, so far, all is still looking really good and the products have taken some frost, snow, heavy rain and some really hot sun last summer. So all in all I think a good product and a good quality of install. Marta, my sales contact, was super helpful and communicative, and the install guys were tidy, pleasant and friendly to have around. Sometimes communication went astray during the install process and in the getting little snagging things finished off - but a lovely woman called Lynsey really helped with the snagging process. So all in all a professional company providing a good product and a good standard of work. Recommended.

We have had a large window replaced with a Grabex triple glazed window, which is a pretty impressive bit of kit.

The installers were very pleasant, worked hard, did a very good job and tidied up after.

We also have a front door and patio door from Grabex.

Excellent company to work with. It wasn’t perfect ride as builder didn’t prepare everything as needed but eventually Marcin@Grabex helped to get things sorted and went far beyond scope of works to have it all done. Good to know smaller residential client with extension can be looked after especially when others failed. Thank you very much for helping us out. Extension sorted – next year rest of the house.

Last year I had to replace my kitchen, sash, wooden window. Done my research, got four estimates and I chose Grabex windows. The job was done perfectly! This year I had to replace three same type sash, wooden windows in my lounge. I did not have any second thought where I will get my new windows from. My choice was easy.
All my journey started with Grabex's sales advisor Mr Henry Lessig visit to survey and estimate new windows. Professional from the very start, answered all my queries, made great offer. I was also invited to Grabex's production line where Mr Henry showed me all aspects of the process and again answered all my questions. I got assurance I needed that I will get quality product I was looking for and make my order with company I can trust. Being quite demanding customer, paying attention to details I am very satisfied with great quality of my windows, great quality of their installation and outstanding customer service throughout the all my journey with Grabex. Grabex window installation just completed after bit of snagging. Really good product, and Greg very helpful in the initial consultation with help regarding acoustic glass and acoustic trickle vents. Installers very good over the two days, and generally a very efficient process. I would recommend Grabex to others.

90k residential project delivered without any major hiccup on timeline, spotless product, good on site application. Great to know and see in person that all manufactured in house - not aboard. Grabex replaced seven aluminium windows at the front of our house. They were efficient and helpful throughout the sales process - we wanted to explore lots of options and they were patient with us!

Once it came to fitting, they did an excellent job and the minor snags that occurred were rectified without any quibbles.

The windows look great and perform perfectly. We love them!

I would highly recommend Grabex to anyone wanting a classy window without breaking the bank.
