Fantastic product that is making life a lot easier as I work through a number of major development projects.

Ethan has been such a good help in the creation of our reports. He is always available when needed, has gone out of his way to assist when we were close to production, and has been patient. ActiveReports has been the solution we were looking for.

Working on an app that was using a 10+ years old version of ComponentOne (C1). Purchased a new license, updated the C1 dlls, and amazingly, everything worked. Hats off to C1 for keeping backwards compatibility to work this well after 10 years. The installer is good, the C1 control panel is a great way to manage installed versions (WinForms, WPF, MVC, etc.), manage licenses and look at sample projects in Visual Studio. The controls are all great and their object models are well thought out. Everything is much more organized than it was 10 years ago. The C1 calendar, textbox, combobox are all resizable, which is great because you can't change the size of the native Windows calendar, and changing the size/padding in the Windows textbox and combo box is annoyingly difficult (not just talking about the width, talking about changing the height and padding inside the control). There is lots of bad chatter on the internet regarding their licensing, so far so good here, but that is one area of concern.

UPDATE: I've been using my new C1 license for 2 weeks now, and occasionally I get a license pop-up from C1 that I don't have a license and to recompile with a valid license. All I have to do is recompile and it picks up my license again, but it does reinforce what I've been reading on the internet, that their licensing is flaky.

GrapeCity has always been helpful and very responsive, unlike some other companies I have to deal with.

I need ActiveBar 1.0, was told that you will send me all versions, but now I am still waiting version 1, you only provide version 2 and 3, but I really need version 1.

I am very satisfied with my first experience with GrapeCity. I used the chat feature and chatted with Alex Gall, Technical Engagement Engineer who was very professional and helpful and he was able to provide me with the Senior Account Manager, Kurt Sterling who also was very professional and assisted me with obtaining a quote for the C1 Studio licenses which was an urgent request.

Very bad experience with your License Manager!!!
I'm not able to register my new license or my new serial key for one week! My customers are very angry. I can't give them my new version of my application.

In the past, I hade to replace my computer or change the Visual Studio version some time and I always had big big difficulties to register my new serial key!!!

I don't understand why this is so complicated!

Every time i have made a post in the forum I have gotten next day on point response.
