So the response to my groupon review after my complaint about an order not turning up....call customer service/online chat! very helpful as of course I haven't tried that a million times already!! Avoid groupon at all costs-use Amazon instead!

GROUPON AIRPORT VOUCHER IS A CON!

I purchased “Looking4Parking” Groupon voucher worth of £4 which said it will be up to 35% discount. Instruction on Groupon was not clear or concise, it just said to put Groupon code while booking. The only option to enter the code was at the beginning, before you pressed the compare
button, which I did but no discount was shown. Even more the price
with the Groupon voucher was £76.95 when if I would book without
voucher it would cost only £67.72 which is £9.23 more. At that time
I presumed that discount would be deducted at the end so I carried on
with booking. However it never did.
I phoned Groupon and I was told that I need to bring printed voucher on
arrival to the company and will get discount refund. I phoned the
company for confirmation but was informed that Groupon provided me with
false information as no refund will be given. Also they confirmed
that my booking is not discounted and I can not change or cancel it
due to the type of booking. They said they can not help me here and
advised to contact Groupon and solve the problem with them since I
bought the voucher from Groupon. However when I contacted Groupon they advised me to talk to “looking4Parking” to sort out the issue and get refund of any surcharge from them as they would not going to pay back any difference that I lost using my Groupon voucher, even though it is Groupon who advertise that they have contract with the company on their site and they should take responsibility when something there is a problem.
Groupon absolves itself of responsibility by throwing problems back at their loyal customers. Groupon just misleads customers and deliberately conceals the full information which leads the customers to believe it is a good deal when in reality it is just a con. I am very disappointed with Groupon services and "deals?" luckily it is not a large amount that I have lost, though stop using Groupon in the future.
I am relieved that I realised what a shady company Groupon is before investing into a more expensive deal.

WORST customer service I have ever…

WORST customer service I have ever received

If I could give less than one star I would

I have sent numerous emails asking for a refund for an item I ordered on 28 July that has never been delivered!

All I get is emails asking me to wait a few more days!!

My requests to cancel and have a refund and their complaints procedure have been ignored.

Groupon seem to think they are above the Consumer Rights Act 2015 so let’s see how they like Trading Standards!

I’m done with groupon!!!
I’m done with groupon!!!! I am deleting the app and never again shall I order anything from groupon.

I purchased 3 items:

1. Hand made memory foam mattress
2. Ottoman end lift queen size bed frame WHITE
3. Mattress topper

1. The so called hand made mattress is completely sub standard to what was advertised, hardly any support around the edges. Not worth the RRP, ok I paid a discount price however it is just about worth that price. Not what I would consider a saving as advertised. It came vacuum packed and rolled up. Only way to see the quality is to open it up.

2. The queen size ottoman bed in white is not white, it is an off white, more of an ivory colour. Secondly, the build quality is quite poor. I imagine the bed frame won’t last long.

3. The mattress topper, as described but better quality available on Amazon for the same price.

I really can’t be bothered going through the motions of emails, repackaging, waiting in for curriers, waiting for refunds etc... imagine trying to send a mattress back once de-vacuumed.

What I have received will do for now based on what I have paid. The point is, I haven’t made a saving. I paid a cheap price but got cheap goods. It is the so called ‘saving” or “bargain” which is just not the case. It’s just poorly manufactured rubbish being miss sold as higher quality products.

I feel like I’ve been screwed over so I will never order a single item from groupon ever again - EVER!

Just money grabbers

Just money grabbers, had a voucher for the Ganges and Gurkha Plymouth (crooks) as a birthday present, booked on Groupon site followed up with telephone confirmation. Arrived at restaurant all shut up, tried to call, no answer, had to get food elsewhere. Next day tried to contact Groupon, phone did not work, on-line contact form did not work, but the did however show that the Ganges had cashed the voucher, and Google Maps review showed that others had been robbed in the same way. Contacted Groupon who simply said we cannot talk to you as you are not the account holder, meanwhile they are still knowingly selling worthless vouchers for non existent meals.

It is very worrying that I find myself writing more and more reviews about dodgy companies like this, we need new laws and enforcement officers to protect us from these morally corrupt organisations.

Poor communications

Bought an electric weeder from them. Fine but the fuse cover of the plug fell out in two pieces, exposing the fuse.
Emailed them about this - email bounces.
Went on website but cannot seem to contact them without the hassle of signing up - no email address found.

Groupon.co.uk have a VERY bad reputation and I can see why. First they had details of mine which was seven years old (address and payment details) which is ILLEGAL under Data Protection Laws (data can only be retained for a resonable time) as well as GDPR.

When I tried to cancel and order with these people, they refused to refund even although the package HAD NOT EVEN BEEN DISPATCHED.

Do not order a mattress from this company extremely poor poor quality late delivery had wrong address. Description totally misleading said it retailed at over a thousand pound I paid £200 absolutely no support when you pressed on it went right down to the frame I arranged for it to be collected even that was late I lost two days holiday from work absolutely nothing about this order was right I urge you DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME I’m absolutely disgusted that they would sell this item to anyone!!!

Groupon Purchase Yankee Candles

I purchased a variety of the Tea Light Yankee Candles
And there was No Smell for these Expensive Candles

None of them produce a smell that you would expect and i can see from other peoples reviews they previously MAY have produced a nice smell.

So have the company that makes these watered them down dramatically? you may aswell buy candles from the pound shop or home bargains

I will not be buying Yankee Candles again

I am so frustrated

I am so frustrated! Ordered an orthopaedic mattress on 26/9, was told 7 working days. No communication whatsoever, have been lied to about delivery and completely fobbed off! Still no sign of the mattress and live chat is just a joke they say the same things all the time. Requested a refund but they are refusing as order being processed. Unbelievable, I literally cannot believe the terrible customer service. Do not order anything from this Company. Ever! I am out of pocket and Groupon do not even care.

I am furious

I am furious, I have never come across a company like it, I have ordered a bed, used the tracking through my email as app just shows ordered, I notice there were 3 parts to the bed and only 2 had been collected, I phoned xpd up & they said that there were only 2 there, I should phone up groupon and ask where the 3rd piece was & that they were holding it till the 3rd piece came, I phoned groupon, they told me to have the bed delivered, then phone to say a part was missing & then get it cancelled, I said I have given you the part number that is missing, surely it’s better to try and get the missing part to the courier rather then go through all of this again as I want a full bed delivered and as I continued to speak the woman hung up on me... I wish I had read the reviews before as I would never have ordered from them, customer services is non existent. A good company will always have good customer services. Groupon you should be ashamed of your selves. This is the first time I have ever been treated so rudely from a company. DO NOT PUT YOURSELF THROUGH THIS, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM... you have been warned 😡😡😡

First time Ive ever used Groupon

First time Ive ever used Groupon to purchase anything and it fialed to arrive.
I checked online and Groupon just shows it as processing, after three weeks it had moved to shipping, but never moved to out for delivery.
Four weeks have passed and I contacted Groupon via the app and on the phone.
The best excuse I was offered was it had got lost with the courier.
I treid to cancel but they refused to accept my cancellation as it had been processed?
I have now raised the issue of them taking my money but not delivering the goods with Paypal.
The goods and its details have now disappeared off my account but no refund has appeared in my account.
In view of my experiance I would suggest avioding these rogues as any money you might save is easily out weighed by the awful service and customer support. Groupon will cost you far more in the long run.
You have been warned.

Lied to.

Ordered some plants. Received email to say they had been despatched. They did not arrive within the stated delivery time. I Complained. Received no response. Complained again. Was asked to give them another week. Plants still did not arrive. Asked for a refund and was offered a Groupon credit! Why would i want a Groupon credit? Was then told the plants were out of stock. Pointed out that they took my money and obviously lied to me. Received refund. Do not trust this company.
