Wrongly advertised product
I ordered some ariel wash powder which was advertised as 240 washes however when it arrived it cleverly said "up to 240" washes when used in a soft water area.
None of this was mentioned in the description so sent it immediately back.
I gave them 2 stars mainly due to the way they dealt with my complaint. They arranged a free return and full refund without any hassle.

Been requesting a solution with Groupon for weeks now to be told " it's not their responsibility as they only sell vouchers!!!!!"

Appalling customer service
Very frustrated. I placed an order for 12 bottles of cava one of which got broken in transit. Have been trying to get a refund for weeks now. Groupon customer services are dreadful. Have a dont care attitude and I have to send same email several times just to get a response. I will certainly not use grouppn again which is a shame as I have been a loyal customer for many years.
TERRIBLE EXPERINEC FOR A LOYAL CUSTOMER
I ordered a new Samsung fitness tracker on Groupon. It arrived in a previously opened, stained box and it quickly became evident the item was used. I wrote to Groupon to complain who told me that they were not the vendor and that I had to contact the company dircet. Said company offered a refund right away, but no apology or excuse for trying to con me. I have reported them to trading standards. To be fair Groupon has been just as bad, if not worse. I have had to e-mail them on sevearal occasions and I am yet to receive my refund. After spending hundreds of pounds on Groupon throughout the years, I am closing my account. Having done lots of Googling, it transpires that this company has an awful track record, yet Groupon continue doing business with them. Very shoddy indeed!
Car with no vroom!
I recently purchased the Mercedes Benz Childs car but on receipt was less than impressed. Groupon description did not match the item. Groupon said 'handy parent handle for added control and security'. There is no handle and it's not referred to in the enclosed instruction leaflet. Groupon said 'Press buttons on steering wheel for horn and engine sounds'. In reality press buttons for musical sounds. This is also stated on the packaging so no excuse for that 'mistake'! Groupon said 'Battery included'. There was no battery and it actually needs two batteries! Not good enough. Contacted Customer Service and to be fair they did respond quickly to my first e-mail but still waiting to hear in response to my second e-mail. Watch this space!
Many purchases and all first class
I've purchased many items on Groupon for local businesses and via their product side. Items are exactly as described and although sometimes take a few days more to arrive then quoted the items are perfect. You've got to remember that Groupon works with third parties and when they send a lot of customers to the third party then redeeming yours may take a little longer due to the amount of ordereds being placed. Groupon is the first place I look when I'm purchasing something.
No refund via Groupon
After 5 months of trying to get a refund from Groupon for an item that was never delivered, i eventually opened up a dispute via paypal who resolved the issue in my favour and gave me a refund within a matter of days.
If you paid via paypal, dont bother wasting your time with Groupon, you will get no where, raise a dispute via paypal and get your money back. Groupon have zero customer service.
Will never use Groupon again.

I bought a set of braces cost £799 unfortunately was not suitable I was told the dentist would rerund me on the next working day, I waited a few days no refund so I contacted the clinic they told me groupon hold the money until the treatment has been complete and release the money so I emailed them no reply and called them got the phone put down on me twice,
I emailed again with a snotty reply from them telling me the clinic have my money I was getting quite worried as it was a large amount of money.
It took in total 4 weeks of being passed from pillar to post to finally get my refund with terrible customer service when you get hold of them.
I will never purchase a deal from them again.

Groupon The Missing Link (Customer Service)
I purchased a shoe cabinet, which when received was badly damaged in transit, after a lot of difficulty I managed to Groupon to arrange collection, which was carried out on the 2nd October. However it never ceases to amaze me that even after having got over the worst ( I thought) and managed to arrange for the goods to be returned ( Checked with couriers )
getting my money returned is like extracting a tooth. As there is no direct email address or telephone number I used their contact email and completed the required information as requested, which included all details relating to purchase and attached copy collection receipt. So knowing how efficient their customer service isn't I was not surprised to receive a email telling me that they had arranged a collection of the goods for me and when received would eventually return my money.
It only goes to prove that not only do customer service's not understand English they do not even read their own pre-scripted emails and if you try and send email back to the same customer agent requesting clarification he or she has left the planet and you have to start all over again. I now know that it is not worth the time and trouble and aggravation to purchase goods through a organisation who rate customer service as such low priority.

I bought an item but didnt get it. They said:
"""According to your tracking number, the item has been returned to its original sender. Unfortunately, as the deal has ended, we are not able to offer replacements or reship items"""".
Anyway I was gonna get the refund in 7 working days but today is 15th working days. I think the groupon is waiting me to forget this refund :)
I saw lots of negative feedback about the groupon on the internet. The groupon doing all same, costumers feedback all same. So the groupon is a joke company.....

I bought my first two groupon vouchers at a bargain price, soulmate juice cleanse , and super eleven green cleanse , i applied for them from the merchants website and ran into a few issues with confirmation however groupon answered me straight away and told me to wait till they updated codes and ring bk if any more probs, i read some bad reviews about groupon and became worried however i need'nt have as one delivery was sorted the nxt day and i received a confirmation email from merchant then the following day the super eleven order arrived , super fast delivery with them!, very please with my groupons and will use them again for sure thanks !
Good even when something goes wrong
It seems that you can't trust anyone in GB anymore. I have had two satisfactory experiences with Groupon. Bought the voucher and all went well at the company. The only problem was that a hairdresser was useless, so Groupon does not check out the quality of the organisations offering the deals, but then it's up to the customer to check before buying the voucher.
My third voucher experience did not go smoothly as the self-employed person decided to stop her business. Groupon's customer support communicated well by email and I received a full refund quickly and efficiently. Thanks very much.
