Despite checking the order on subsequent days and this morning (30/05) when logging onto my account this afternoon no order is showing!!
Contacted Groupon via their 'Chat' system (telephone contact is a complete and utter waste of time) to be advised that my order had been cancelled by the vendor because I was outside of their delivery area.
I had carefully checked this prior to placing the order.
I believe the REAL REASON for the order cancellation is that they do not want to fulfil the advertised discount!!!!

I cant believe this is legal. I made an order of a mattress - memory foam - but when I researched the quality of this product I found it was not worth the price of the email. As the order hadn't been processed (7 days later) I cancelled the order. Customer service said, no problem. A week later the mattress arrived, terrible quality. I called 10 times to haveit removed and get my money back. I've been hungup on - been yelled at and scolded. The mattress is still here and they still have my money - 6 weeks later.

Bought a couple of online courses from them, which turned out to be not as good as I thought. I was under the impression that both were accredited and would mean something. But it turns out I was wrong! One of them is totally unaccredited, which seems a total waste of time and money. Anyone could have just gone online & found the info themselves for free sooner than paying Groupon for it! The other 'accreditation' seems to be an 'Unaccreditation', which apparantly is not as good.
Considering that the course is originally £299 I would have thought you would get an actual certificate and not have to download the pdf yourself!! Or is it because it was dicounted through Groupon?
The Luxury Kitchen Gadget from them turned out to be something totally different, and not even anything from any of their advertised lists! Apparently they don't do it, so why did I get sent it? And they still expected me to keep it for the same price!
What's this groupon credits? Why would anyone want them sooner than their money back? Or is it just me?
When I get my refund I'm looking at closing that account!

I ordered a Christmas present 12th December - a case of wine £55.
Small print said delivered in 7 days.
I thought that's plent of time.
After 7 days passed I emails groupon as to call them costs you 60p per minute.
You wait 24 hours for response which was please allow another 7 days of it hasn't arrived get back in contact.
I emailed and asked for refund, a phone call, tracking number and help.
Wait another 24 hours am offered none of those things - just generic email that doesn't answer any of the questions I have and is finished with
' if There is anything else we can do please contact us'
Infuriating process as they don't answer a question or do anything.
Christmas came and went. I had to buy pressie elsewhere. Finally 28 th December I have been escalated to the escalations team which take 48 hours to respond and still won't phone me.
Delightfully they finally give me the tracking details and ask me to chase and contact the company direct!
They take no responsibility for the 7 day delivery thy they offer. Offered no refund or compensation.
They aren't even very sorry.
Poor poor poor if you need to buy something by a certain date - do not buy with Groupon.
I will never use them again.

Ordered a box of toilet rolls on 6th December for delivery within 7 working days.
Email arrived on 10th to say goods had been dispatched.
Hermes website does not seem to update when tracking information is inserted...just says order for delivery received on 10th December.
Today is the 21st and still no sign of delivery or any update on Hermes website.
I would honestly be very wary of using Groupon again and couldn't recommend them to anyone else. It may be a busy time of the year but delivery is not rocket science is it?
Emailed Groupon customer service a few days ago and just had a reply saying they were busy. If all goods are sent out in such a haphazard fashion then I'm not surprised they are busy.
Will be having a chat with Trading Standards after Christmas if goods fail to arrive. Suggest others do likewise.

Wrong delivery
I bought sofas via groupon and wrong sofas were delivered. I contacted customer service and was promised to wait for 7_10 days. This time has by so far gone and still waiting for correct sofas to be delivered. I am still keeping their wrong delivery and the big boxes in my living room which is making my house so unlivable.
Shocking Avoid & use competitor!
A simple issue of not being able to use the app to purchase an order. Shabiz was great with her initial advice, but after that issue I encountered another issue and ended up with someone called Monaj who can only be described as both passively rude, unhelpful and frankly terrible at his job. This man refused to address any of the issues in my email, kept responding with thank you for your feedback and if I can be of any further assistance, without once actually addressing the issue I contacted customer service about in the first place. I then ask for a manager to take over as clearly this person must either be some sort of joke or on work experience , and again I get the same response. Clearly this company is doing so well that they can afford to send people fleeing in the direction of their competitors! I doubt very much this review will be taken seriously and looked into, but at least the general public can see this along with the many other bad reviews Groupon seem to have gained.
Terrible...a very stressful experience.
I ordered a pair of canvas shoes which never arrived. I could see from the tracking details that they had never left the courier's depot. I contacted Groupon via the live chat facility...very polite and seemingly efficient. Apologies...wait a few days. I did so but the goods still hadn't left the depot after two weeks. Contacted Groupon again and they said the matter would have to be referred to a higher authority. Was assured that although this could take up to ten days most cases were dealt with within much less time. This went on for a month. I was going on holiday and was asked to give details of neighbours with whom the goods could be left. I did so. On my return after a further week the goods had still not been delivered. I patiently persisted, saying I was going on holiday again a week later and that if the goods couldn't be delivered within that time I would have to cancel. Groupon admitted the couldn't guarantee that they would arrive by then...well over a month after I put in my order. Full refund given, but I shall never use Groupon again.

Terrible Delivery Service, Ineffectual Customer Service
Groupon's delivery service, Yodel, lied about having made a delivery attempt and was utterly unresponsive. Yodel's customer service phone number is a 100% automated system that hangs up on you if you ask for anything other than your tracking status. Groupon customer service did nothing to remedy the delivery issue despite my making several phone calls to them. My Groupon order was ultimately an utter waste of time and money and I will never purchase anything from them again.

Used Groupons' chat facility to enquire about a particular discount code which was previously sent to me but the email has been deleted and I can no longer find the code. The operator explained that the code is still active but when I explained to her I no longer have the code and I would like her to resend it she said no she cannot resend. I asked if someone else can help, the answer was no. The operator can clearly see that I am requesting a code previously issued but made no real efforts to actually try to help me in anyway or she simply had no initiative whatsoever. Never felt so frustrated after speaking to an organisation, worst experience ever and I hope that I never have to ever contact them again!!
Don't trust it
As long as everything goes well, Groupon can be very interesting. However, when problems show up, you can not count on any service and they do not really answer your questions when you contact Groupon.
I have good experience however with coupons for an activity. But in general, I would advise you to check the website of the real dealer (not Groupon) and check out if it's trustworthy and whether the availability is still high enough.
Appalling
I ordered a 265 box of Ariel, it didn't arrive despite Hermes tracking saying it had been posted through the letterbox! After many emails which seem to go to India it seemed impossible for them to understand that a 3ft box of washing powder cant fit in a letter box. They made me contact Hermes who were equally as useless. they referred me back to Groupon who told me to contact Hermes, all the while telling me this item had been delivered via the damn letterbox. I told Groupon they were responsible for all of it as they employ Hermes, they said the item had been delivered. I now have a migraine through all this and still have no washing powder. I wont be buying from them again.
Don't seem to understand English
I have used Groupon a couple of times recently, both times with issues. When I've contacted their customer services people with a question, they don't seem to read what has been written and their response just does not answer what was asked. I've repeated this several times and they now don't respond at all. Absolutely useless! I am cancelling my membership (which is free anyway, so that shows how bad I think it is).I would advise against using them as you can get just as good offers from other websites.

Ordered makeup set to go with my sisters birthday present, it promised delivery within a week. Almost a month later I still have no makeup and no refund. Customer services (even though it already is so late), has told me to wait another 10 working days then said that they had pt me down as urgent and so should receive an email soon. What tosh. Still heard nothing. No doubt will be kept waiting half a lifetime for a refund. It there were a zero star they would receive it. Do NOT buy goods from groupon - you have been warned.
SHAMBOLIC! Worst company I have ever bought from!
I ordered a CANDY FLOSS CART and was sent a PLATE WARMER! Voucher expires August 2016 yet upon trying to return the item they have told me they are completely sold out.
Weeks passed with me emailing a USELESS customer service team who dismissed my requests to speak to a manager.
I was told it was up to ME to return the item to the post office (big heavy box), then wait 14 days for a refund.
I finally found a contact number, was left on hold by a call handler called Eugene. He spoke over me and did everything in his power to prevent me from speaking to a manager.
I finally spoke to a manager called Meg who may as well have been a robot.
Problem is still not resolved!
DO NOT buy from Groupon, they are a sham of a company with ZERO customer service!
Bed and Mattress
Ordered a bed and mattress. Whilst the bed was as described the mattress certainly wasn't! Speaking to Groupon was an absolute nightmare. I had to spell out every word letter by letter. Sent emails and instead of addressing the current order they started addressing the previous order! Asked to speak to the Customer Service Manager which the person I was speaking to had just spoken to and was told he was in a Meeting!!! Asked to speak to Resolution Manager not possible. To try and escalate my complaint was completely impossible. Tried to get through to the Director of the group in London no email address and no phone number other than in Customer Services which I've been told is not even in this country! Even the company in the UK didn't take responsibility for the misrepresentation of the item and referred it back to Groupon - so much for their scruples. I tried for at least six hours of my time and cost of phone calls, emails etc. so far no response from the Company not what one would expect from a Company of this magnitude. Definitely would NOT USE again.
