Husband ordered product with (at least one) back-up phone call to clarify that it was correct item for our purpose. It is not correct item, however, as the tradesman has torn the outer cardboard covering and the plastic sheet inside, they refuse to have the item returned (despite it being, obviously, in absolutely perfect condition). Now I assumed it was going to be the right thing, and so did the tradesman - my husband had made the back-up call! Unfortunately, I've had to deal with it myself. So that is almost £100 to throw in the bin, and I would describe it as an unreasonable return policy. In addition the sales assistant was rude on the phone today. Do not use this company unless you are 100% certain of the technical specification of the items you are ordering.

Ordered with them because of the price. It took two weeks to let me know it was out of stock, and two months and a lot of phone calls to get the item I ordered, they rarely phoned back when I asked them to chase up the order. Will never use again.

ordered because delivery was 1-2 working days .rang after 2 to chase up the order only to be told the item wasn't even in stock yet !!!!!!!

Purchased a waste disposal unit. Cheapest price on the net, but took 10 days to arrive. Came as descibed, now fitted and it works fine.

Have not receved my order yet it seems to be taken an age. Not very good for me or you asI will nit be using you again. To slow for an order online should have been here after one week maxs.

Bought what I wanted easily, at a good price and it was delivered in two days. Perfect.

Never believe that next day delivery never true and communication would help so the customer knows what's happening

We are really pleased with our super illuminated mirror from h-I-e co ltd. It has transformed our bathroom and we have had so many positive comments from friends paying us a visit - in more ways than one!
The mirror was so easy to install, especially once I realised that the mounts were on an exact 15 inch square, and the build quality is excellent.
Our mirror was dispatched quickly and was possibly the best packed item that I have ever received - I have nothing but praise for this purchase and certainly made a very welcome saving over buying from several other suppliers.
Buy one and reflect in leisure!

I had high hopes after reading the online reviews. Unfortunately, after placing the order I have e-mailed (no response), had to phone twice to chase the goods (told twice it was out of stock). I am still waiting for the delivery - I have now been promised Saturday (14 days from placing order - this is not the quick service I expected). I wait to see if it arrives!

I ordered the sink strainer on Friday 24th Jan expecting it take two working days to arrive. Considering the cost of shipping at £5.80 I actually thought two days was a bit long. It did not arrive so I queried h-i-e and they apologised for delayed delivery and said it would arrive Thursday 30th. It arrived on Friday 31st and the FedEx label said it was only sent on the 30th.

I can't fault the item or the purchase price but they need to up their game on delivery.

I ordered a honeywell room thermostat with indicator. I specifically oredred this item from sakes@h-i-e.co.uk , and paid more money than from others, because thery showed a light idicator in the picture of the thermostat on the order page. When i received the item after abour 10 days, I discovered the thermostat had no light idicator.
I called the company and I was told that this was the item I had ordered. They asked me to return it, which I did by recorded delivery on the 23rd of January and I have not received any acknowledgement of receipt or refund as yet. I feel they should include in the refud the delivery costs (which they are not willing to do) due to the misleading graphic description of the item.

We pick a supplier based on convenience, price and quality of service. The Plumbing Shop ticks all boxes. I placed my order at 2.00 pm on Friday. The site says 2/3 working days for delivery and my goods arrived early doors on the following Wednesday.
Service was good - within the time specified.
Ordering could not have been easier.
The price was better than any local suppliers and the manufacturer. Saved over £20!

I buy for clients and need to supply goods that are guarantee to work. It's a fast changing world, and finding traders with these products in todays market place
is tough going

Never disappointed when buying from the plumbing shop.

Placed order on Jan 4th , received e-mail confirmation on Jan 7th .................then nothing , no product arrived , no email to tell me what was going on ..... nothing .
Two e-mails drew no response whatsoever . In the end I phoned to be told , product out of stock they hoped to be getting them in on Jan 25th so I should receive my item early the following week.
The best part of a month to fulfil an order ...... not very impressive ..... that is of course if it arrives when I've been told it will ..... who knows !!!!!!

busted the base of my shower unit and had trouble locating a spare, had to isolate water supply to shower it was near weekend and none of my local plumbing mechants had anything like what i needed so i turned to your good selves, I might have had to wait nearly a week to recieve my parts but at least you had them and i can now shower after a long days work. Thank you very much
