Cheapest price, delivery took a couple of days longer than anticipated but otherwise good service.

First time I've used the Plumbing Shop, good range of products at very competitive prices. Items purchased arrived as scheduled and to specification.

We ordered a radiator which was delivered within a couple of days, well within the delivery estimate. The price was very good, and the radiator looks as good as we'd hoped.

Our original order was placed on the 13th May and still now on the 26th June we still do not have an operational bathroom. I have held off writing a review based on the outcome of various problems.

We orders a bathroom suite from HIE Plumbing Shop including toilet, sink and shower bath. Problems with everything but the sink!

The first cistern was damaged which HIE replaced, the second cistern was also damaged - both manufacturer imperfections. By the time the third cistern came we were getting a little fed up and although not perfect we fitted the third cistern with the second cistern lid to produce something of acceptable quality. All cisterns did arrive next day and this was resolved in the space of a week.

The next issue came with the bath. The surface acrylic on the L-shape square shower bath first developed a hairline surface crack in one corner- we originally assumed we had missed this on delivery but spoke to HIE and said it was nothing to do with them and we should have checked it prior to installing. Over the course of the next 1-2 weeks 4 further cracks developed in the surface acrylic making the bath look 20 years old, rubbish and leaving us worried the whole thing would crack sending bath water through the ceiling below. Not what you expect from a new product. HIE after a great deal of discussion, and the threat of small claims court action eventually agreed to replace and send out a 'checked' replacement 2 days later than they said they would- although HIE did inform us this was an issue with their courier as opposed to HIE. This bath also had multiple cracks and was rejected upon delivery.

We have now had to request a refund from HIE and are sourcing a bath elsewhere. This has dragged out longer than we would have liked but Verity, when available, has been helpful but we now are lacking confidence in the products HIE are selling.
Good customer service but some of the product HIE are selling are of very poor quality.

My plumber recommended h.i.e. and he was right to. For good quality shower pumps, I couldn't find better value and it was on my doorstep in 2 days.

.....but you never reply to your contact us email!! If you are not going to reply, turn it off.

This was the first time I used this company, my goods arrived quickly and the price was excellent.

Delivery of the priducts was very quick, and the price was great. One item (small) was shipped incorrectly, they came the next day collected, then replaced with the correct one a day later. Great service, if only other Internet sites did the same thing, no additional hassle or cost when an incorrect item is delivered. On my experience I would recommend.

Salamander pump as good as the other three I've fitted in the past to boost hot water supply to showers and other hot taps.

I ordered 2 identical shower wastes and 2 days later received 1 that I had ordered but with a part missing and another of a differing size. I was not pleased because I was starting work to fit these 2 days later. I emailed them at 6pm that day.
Their customer service was faultless. The missing parts were sent out, I offered to keep the different sized waste as I will use it in the future and 2 days later the missing part arrived as promised.
We all make mistakes and I firmly believe that it's how we out them right that matters. At the The Plumbing Shop they appear to have this covered. I will have no hesitation in returning as a customer again
