Good timber, delivery as promised

After searching online for timber I found this company. Great choice, with explanations regarding timber grades etc for non-woodies like myself! I also found their prices for what I needed significantly cheaper than local timber merchants, even with delivery charges - not sure how that works. Delivery was quicker than expected. The timber's great, just what was needed. Good products, price, service, fast delivery. Thanks

Excellent product and service.

Faultless transaction - except for one rather important detail ... Why deliver on 31 August when I specifically requested EARLIEST delivery on 1 September, because I knew no-one would be home on 30th? Luckily I happened to be 5 minutes away when the call came from the delivery man.
Silly oversight as a result of over-efficiency?
You are forgiven ... more business to follow over coming months.

Decided to create raised borders with stones inside to hide unsightly lawn / gravel edging.
Looked online at several suppliers eventually checking Harlows.
Found decent 3.6m lengths of 9x2in equivalent boards at what I think is a good price. One board was a little bit warped however 2 lengths were allowed for cutting smaller pieces so no problem to me. Delivery was reasonably priced.
I did not receive a call to confirm delivery as it says on web site but I was going to be home anyway.
It does give option during ordering though for delivery requests which I didn't make use of.
Delivery driver fine with off loading.
So 5 stars for this purchase.

Modest order of wood was despatched by courier and arrived the next day, good efficient service from Harlow Bros

Ordering online easy, goods purchased good quality (trellis) and deemed reasonably priced for this. 4 stars as not delivered on day promised (Friday). When telephoned (Saturday) for reason was advised order was out for delivery that day; still didn't arrive. An email also sent couple of days before expected delivery requesting eta of delivery was not replied to. Order arrived Monday with no notification beforehand. Delivery man advised he only works Mon-Thurs and Company knew that.

Used Website to select and pay for my order. Items were delivered on agreed delivery date. Simple and straightforward experience. Thank you.

Ordered on a Sunday night. Got a phone call first thing Monday morning to organise delivery. Delivery was spot on and the driver very polite and helpful. Wood is in great condition and reasonable price.
I’ve used Harlows before and based on this experience will use them again.
