Hays Travel - Dunstable Reviews 

I found James to be professional courteous and responsive in all the questions that I asked. He took all the pressure off me having to organise my holiday, I would have no hesitation in recommending Hays Travel.

We were seen straight away by james,we told him what we were looking for ,he guided us on the area we will be staying at ,the flight times,he explained everything in great detail

Staff was very helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. It was very satisfying to actually talk to someone face to face. Something we lost years ago with online on the increase.

Helpful staff who take their time to make sure that I have all the information that I need are always a plus, that's where the high street has the edge.

Brilliant service from the new team in Dunstable all the staff were extremely helpful towards me and did everything in there power to get myself and my brother a great Adults only holiday in a great resort in Tenerife I’m seriously considering to book soon for 2026 vacation through Hay Travel

I had a holiday in mind. James checked other sites to see if I had the best deal for me.

The staff were amazing. It was a pleasure to book with them and I highly recommend them. I will definitely be using them from now on.

Overall the holiday break was good.
One small point is that I nearly missed being picked up. I followed the instructions to stand by bus stop 1 in Dunstable 8:50 am and got worried when the pick up time of 9:10am had passed. The feeder bus was parked a little away from the bus stops 1 and 2 and I only noticed this about 9:15am. I did asked the driver who misunderstood because I asked for Hays Tours not being aware that the tour was going by a different name from the brochure. I had to return to the bus stop experiencing some anxiety. Shortly after, the driver came to where I was still waiting realising that I was the customer he was to pick up.
Initially, I was expecting the coach with clearly visible tour name but realised when I checked my info pack that sometimes, feeder transport are used and that the customer need to look out for smaller vehicle. I think this point needs to be told to the customer during their booking because another customer boarded the minivan with some confusion about whether she had got on to the right transport.
The other issue which reduced the overall experience for me was having to deal with a smelly bathroom. There was this prevailing urine smell. While the staff at the hotel, did double clean the toilets/bathroom, I disliked using the bathroom and was happy to leave when my 5-day break had ended.
The food and food service was great and I enjoyed the places selected for our days out, especially this place call, Clovelly.

Great service, extremely helpful. Danny and James are a credit to the Dunstable branch.. put together exactly what we wanted, nothing too much trouble.

Our contact James was a superb communicator. He quickly returned to us with answers to our numerous questions and was always polite and patient. We are booking a major holiday at a significant cost to ourselves and it is very comforting to feel that our trip has been handled very professionally.

The staff are all so friendly and helpful. James and Danny were fantastic helping to book our holiday. The price was we have been charged is brilliant for 3 adults and a teenager. James was brilliant with communication and finding the hotel and flights. You have a loyal customer for all of my holidays . Thank you so much
