Outstanding service from Mark at House and Holiday Home Mortgages. I dont believe anyone could have done more and achieved more in completing what was a complicated holiday airbnb mortgage. Mark's tenacity was such that the lender actually revised their lending criteria after completing our mortgage. A pleasure to do business with HHH and Mark was a jolly nice chap into the bargain!

Since 2016, Mark has supported us in finding two affordable mortgages and (importantly) ones that have been just right for our needs. I could not recommend Mark more highly. We were facing a different mortgage situation on a holiday let - our chosen building society had said the house was not mortgageable. I tried calling two brokers before Mark and both said it was an impossible task. Mark, on the other hand, took the challenge on with great enthusiasm and surveyed all lenders in the market. He managed to find a lender who would be willing to mortgage the property much to my amazement. Mark was also a great sounding board and source of advice and in the end we decided not to proceed with the purchase, partly due to Mark helping us to see this was not the right property for our needs. I offered to pay his fee due to all his hard work but he stood by his promise of no fees if we chose not to proceed, which is a rare quality today. Highly recommended broker and a lovely chap as well.

Without the help and expertise of Mark and the team I don’t think we would have secured a mortgage for the purchase of a neighbouring property. Our situation wasn’t straight forward but with Mark’s persistence and his unique relationship with the lender we were able to complete the purchase last week. Unlike most other companies we were treated as individuals with a personalised service - none of the usual “computer says no”! Sally helped me buy my first house in 2021, at the height of the stamp duty holiday property rush. She not only found an excellent mortgage deal, but was full of useful advice all the way through the process of house buying: from viewings to completion. Despite the busyness of the market, Sally was always responsive and efficient, finding and applying for mortgage deals with impressive speed.

I could not recommend these guys highly enough. Both Joe and Lauren made the whole process of sorting out a mortgage super simple. This was our first mortgage with HTB and they made everything clear and simple for us. Any questions we had they responded pretty much straight away. If only the rest of the house purchase was as straight forward as the work they did for us.
