I thought I had left time for the MOT - but an unexpected issue arose and with my impending departure from the UK - it suddenly became a crisis! But Peter at HiQ was my hero and a) fixed it, b) found a space for the test when I had turned up early and was generally the hero of the day! Thank you so much!

Also helped me with the examination of the replaced tyres as had been informed by a main dealership that they were MOT failures... possibly, but a bit dubious!!!

Booking tire change was quick and easy. Not the cheapest, but excellent customer serice.
Wider checks when replacing the front tires resulted in gratefully received advice about the condition of the brakes.

I have used HiQ at Bury St Edmunds several times for various things and they always provide a top service. Today my car failed it’s MOT and Pete kept me up to date with what was happening. I was told it may need to wait a day for the part but the team managed to sort it out and get my car back to me within the same day!
I would highly recommend HiQ to anyone looking for a trustworthy garage and will definitely continue you to use them in the future!

Absolutely fantastic service from Bury St Edmunds branch. Was due to go on holiday and our car (Zafira) was making banging noises. Pulled into HiQ and asked them to look at it for me. They found the issue straight away and fixed the car within 2 hours so we could be on our way. Huge thank you to James and Pete and the team for a outstanding service. Your website let me book tyre fitting in Bury St Edmunds for Saturday afternoon, when the branch is closed. Luckily your helpful staff spotted this, gave ma a call, and managed to get my tyres fitted just before they closed for the day. Please fix your website!

I've used HiQ over many years and generally been good/OK - the 3 stars reflects the previous experience. More recently I've taken a camper van there. Last time they left oily footprints on the carpet (where they didn't need to go!). It was an old carpet and I didn't mind chucking it. This time, booked an MoT and service a month in advance and when I turn up at the appointed time (9.30am) they told me that they can do the MoT but not a full service, and if I wanted in interim service that would be in the afternoon. It's a 20mile round trip or hang around all day. Why do they book me in for a service that they can't do? I quit. Oh, and not word of apology at any point, which always prompts a review.

Customer service is awful, very unhelpful, completely wasted my time and theirs. Plenty more vehicle garages in Bury St Edmunds that offer far better customer services.

Avoid.

Recovered my Ford Fusion into the centre because it wouldn't start. Fearing the worst I left it in there hands. I was surprised that it only needed a battery and was promptly on my way. Trust is a big issue for me and they were truthful so I can honestly recommend this center. Good price too.

Just had mot and service with the guys at Bury-St-Edmunds great service and great price had a £19.99 discount for booking online. They called me to let me know the car had pass its mot before starting the service and then again after to let me know the car was ready to pick up so polite and helpful.
