The costs were laid out up front including those payable at pickup. The rates were competitive with other car rental web sites and much less than booking direct with the car rental company.
All the information was in the rental company's computer when I arrived so the registration was quick. Similarly on drop off, no hassle, just a quick inspection, printed off the final invoice (no extra charges) and the shuttle to the terminal was waiting.

Everything was fine - reasonable price. Easy pick up and drop off...could have explained more about extra driver charges, but overall fine.

I booked early and pre paid. The pickup and drop off at a different location was trouble free. The rate was very competitive.

The car supplied was top of the range and almost new..... Exactly what I wanted..... Superb

After reading the small print for the car i had hired I decided to change supplier. There is a function on Hirecars.co.uk to do so but it didn't work so I had to contact the call centre. They were very helpful and sorted it out really quickly.

Hirecar.com was a great website to book through. I was booking a car at the last minute and received a really quick response, no fuss, no extra costs and also got a great car... Was actually surprised at what I got for my money, especially in comparison to other websites/companies online and my previous experience with hiring cars whilst travelling... Would totally recommend these guys...

A bit of a pain to get there BUT Trevor made all the effort worthwhile - as did the price.
He greeted us warmly, quickly completed the paperwork and we were soon checking over the car. A quick guide to the essentials of the hire car, in easy speak from Trevor, then we were on our way.

Definitely the best thing about the booking is the price, but you must be prepared and read all the fine print before you book. Otherwise you may have problems if you come late to book your car, or need to change your booking or add extra days. We've used this site 3 times and have generally had a great experience, but --- always book excess insurance separately online beforehand or you will be up for big unexpected fees when you get to your car hire on the day!! And check over the car dents and scratches carefully with the rental employee before you drive off, list even the smallest ones --- that's the best advice I can give for a good experience and good price.

I wanted to avoid Easirentals as the reviews were poor, the booking system indicated that Hertz etc were the suppliers and car pick up was at the airport- no mention of Easirentals or transfer to the pickup office until the booking was complete. The result was that I used Easirentals and all was ok -

It´s the first time that I book a model of car and the company give me one better!!

Obtaining the car on site was simple, the reality was the car from Sicily car rentals was 2 hours late, dirty and had four serious body defects, maybe thats because I was in Italy!!!

I was panicked about a last minute booking in a city I'd never visited. The site was easy to use, allowed me to compare prices so I knew I wasn't being ripped off, I knew enough to look out for hidden extras and excess charges and these were pretty easy to find, and once it was done they sent all the details through to my smart phone very promptly. A good experience.

Found the site on Google...and followed it through to a great deal.
Compared to the actual rental sites...it was a lot cheaper...

Booking online was simple, collection the same as well as drop off, car was superb all round good experience

Great, apart from it wasn't clear what was included in the insurance. The website advertised excess waiver insurance to protect from the excesses it said was on the car hire. However, after paying £37 for this waiver we were told by the hire company (dollar) in USA that it was all included anyway and we didn't need the waiver. By that time it was to late to cancel.

Just arrived, got given a lift to the keys and the car, three signatures and two initials and I was away.
