Extremely poor customer service, they try to scam you into buying their Kasko insurance by declining your credit card. I had a valid credit card but they wouldn’t accept it and cancelled my reservation unless I paid £250 for insurance, do not rent a car from this people

This company is a fraudulent and deceitful business. I found them through the Economy Booking website. Their prices were extremely low, which is actually part of their scam. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of booking a car with them for two weeks.

Imagine this: I arrived in Antalya at midnight with my family (my wife and young child). They took us to the middle of nowhere in the dead of night. After checking my documents, they claimed that none of my three gold credit cards were working, even though I had used these cards multiple times to rent cars in Turkey, Spain, Italy, and Greece.

My only option was to purchase their insurance, which cost three times the price of the car rental. At midnight, with my wife and young child, I had no other choice.

In the end, they gave me a dirty, smelly transport van instead of the car I had reserved. The vehicle was in terrible condition. I am sharing photos of this filthy and disgusting car with you in Google reviews.

This company is a scam. Please, please, please don’t be fooled by their low prices, and under no circumstances rent a car from them.

I rented a car thru Discovercars. They didn't accepted my Swiss Mastercard for hold 900euros. They told me my card not working I have to buy additional insurance I called my bank, my card was fine. Hit rental just wanted sell extra insurance for 240 eurós. We left hitrental with taxi to the hotel.. I called Discovercars to get other car from different company,but only get a car next day for more expensive. Careful! Don't rent from them! Scam!!!!

I have had to report the car rental company to Mastercard.
Deposit is not reserved as agreed, but withdrawn from my account.
Deposit €900,00 has not yet been refunded 50 days after the return of the car.

WE ARRIVED LATE EVENING AT AIRPORT CALLED TO GET PICK UP TO GET CAR. DRIVER ARRIVES TWENTY MINS LATER IN A SMALL CAR. WE GOT TO OFFICE TO PICKUP CAR. ASKED FOR PASSPORT , DRIVING LICENCE . OK. THEN I AM TOLD I HAVE TO PAY 25 EUROS A DAY FOR SEVEN DAYS EXTRA. BECAUSE OF MY AGE, 67. I I HAD CHCKED ALL TIS BEFORE HAND. I HAD AGREED TO PAY FOR COVER OF 9000 EUROS ACCESS COVER IF THEIR WAS AN ACCIDENT. AND THE BALANCE OF HIRE. WAS WAS 65 POUNDS. NOW WHEN I CHECKED I WAS OK UP TOO THE AGE OF 99 YEARS TO DRIVER BCAUSE I WAS WILLING TO TAKE THE ACCESS COVER, NOW AT GETING TO THE OFFICE I AM TOLDED I HAVE TOO PAY THAT EXTRA 25 EUROS PER DAY. WE DID NOT HAVE IT. AND THE SMALL CAR WAS THE ONE THEY WAS GOING TO GIVE US. WHICH I HAD ASKED FOR MEDUIM SIZE VEHICLE. SO WE DECIDED WE NO LONGER WANT TO HIRE CAN I HVE A REFUND, I WAS TOLD GO TOO THE BROKER. WHICH IS CARJET RENTAL. WE WAS DROPED AT AIRPORT AND LEFT TO GET TRANSPORT TO GET TO OUR DESTINATION. WE WASAT THE AIRPORT FOR ANOTHER HOUR TRYING TO GET TOO OUR FINAL DESTINATION. WHICH COST US MORE THAN WE EXPECTED, I WOULD SAY THAT. HIT CAR RENTALS IS NOT A COMPANY I WOULD ADVICE ANYONE TOO USE. THEY ARE ABOUT RIPPNG PEOPLE OFF. THEY WILL (HIT) YOU WITH EXTRA CHARGES . I CAN SEE WHY THEY ARE CALLED HIT CAR RENTALS. THEY WILL HIT YOU HARD FOR MORE MONEY UNEXPECTEDLY. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO KNOW ONE.

Rented the car for 8 days, they wrongly charged my credit card 900 euros instead of blocking for the deposit. Then when trying to contact them, started ignoring my calls other than to tell me to check with my bank. Said they would pass me to accounts but are trying to avoid paying my deposit back.

Took 90 mins to collect from the airport, a woman on my own. Tried to scam me to buy the insurance saying my cardwas declined so to pay €200 insurance. I had a second card, oh guess what same BS. I had this happen before and credit card company will not assist you. So wouldn't pay or leave the office as gone midnight in middle of nowhere. Then of course get it working and I get my vehicle, on red fuel. No one there at drop off, wait again. Now a month later get my visa bill to discover that they have taken and kept £500 and banking all contact. Economy bookings are aware but do nothing creaming off their pound of flesh. AVOID if you don't want to spent 120 days trying to get YOUR money back just before Christmas. SCAMMERS AVOID

These are the worst for car rentals in the whole of the world.
They are complete scammers, I bought the package through Thomas Cook, address was AutoVia at terminal 1 Antalya airport, I got there and no sign of any such company, a Turkish chap rung the number on my reservation and an hour later I was picked up and driven round for half hour then eventually to a office miles away, I showed my reservation and they had my details but wanted extra 900 euros! My contract said different but they were not interested and made me pay otherwise told me to go away, it was middle of nowhere and dark so I had no choice, car was dirty damaged and empty of fuel!
After getting to hotel I contacted them to say car had STOP warning come up, again they weren't interested and I didn't use car again, I gave up.

Hej, jeg havde desværre en meget træls og ubehagelig oplevelse via jeres selskab. Der stod på hjemmesiden at biludlejningen var på stedet, og at vi ikke skulle have transfer. det var ikke korrekt. vi måtte vente 1,5 time på at blive hentet af HIT medarbejderen midt om natten udenfor lufthavnen (selvom der blev sagt 30 minutter) da vi ankom til biludlejningen ville medarbejderen have vi betalte yderligere 250 euro. vi kunne ikke bare gå da vi var midt i ingenting og helt nye i landet. vi endte med at betale 200 euro ekstra ca kl 5 om natten for derefter at køre en time hjem til vores hotel. vi fik derefter en mail om at han havde annuleret vores bil. derudover fik vi en bil der meldte dæk problemer i skærmen og ruden var flækket, samt tanken havde 10 km tilbage. Hele oplevelsen var meget ubehagelig og jeg skal aldrig have bil der igen.
Derudover skulle vi også aflevere bilen 20 min væk fra lufthavnen

Hello, I unfortunately had a very unpleasant and unpleasant experience with your company. It said on the website that the car rental was on the spot and that we did not have to have a transfer. it was not correct. we had to wait 1.5 hours to be picked up by the HIT employee in the middle of the night outside the airport (even though it was said 30 minutes) when we arrived at the car rental the employee wanted us to pay another 250 euros. we couldn't just go as we were in the middle of nowhere and brand new to the country. we ended up paying 200 euros extra at about 5 in the morning to then drive an hour home to our hotel. we then got an email that he had canceled our car. in addition, we got a car that reported tire problems in the screen and the window was cracked, and the tank had 10 km left. The whole experience was very unpleasant and I will never have a car there again.
In addition, we also had to hand over the car 20 minutes away from the airport

i rented true ecovia a car at the antalya airport. hit car rental was the local car rental. the didnt want to accept mine creditcard so i had to rent a car for more then 200 euro more. they are scammers. with the card there was nothing wrong i also contacted the bank.

We were left standing at the airport without a car, we called 10 times, but there was no answer, and after 2 hours of frustration we took a taxi. A few days later I finally get a reply from company that there is no compensation due to the lack of a credit card, which is a complete lie. I WILL NEVER GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY AGAIN! They ruined our trip.

This car company is a big cheater. They only publish a cheap price to attract customers.  I hope I can read reviews before booking with this company. They picked me from the airport after my several messages. When i reached their office, they tried to give a higher cost car than what i had booked. They then offered a manual car while I booked an auto, but I refused. they tried to sell their high cost insurance policy which i again refused as i had my own excess cover policy. He then threatened me that if anything happened to the car during the rental period then I would be charged €10000.  they realised that they would not be able to trap me. Then they pretended like they were processing a booking. then they came up with a reason that my credit card was not allowing them to take a deposit which was euro 1500! I said my credit card was international with remaining credit as £9270 and had been used over 20 years to rent a car worldwide. I had shown this to the guy online too. My bank also confirmed that there was no attempt made! I gave them another master card with a credit limit of £8,000 but they came up with the same excuse. Actually the cheater was trying to charge €1500 instead of just blocking deposit on my card but he was not showing me the process in English, instead he was showing some error in a turkish language which i was unable to understand and he was explaining to me that my card company was refusing the transaction. nonsens! They left me on the road without any help with my kids in an unknown country. I then booked uber to reach the destination. The next day I rented a car using the same card from Goldcars. I learned a lesson to book a car from Airport providers only.   

I had some reservations about the rental. The car wasn't in the greatest condition, though staff was welcoming. The price was decent, but I had hoped for a little more in terms of the vehicle's quality.

This is advertised as on airport whereas it's about 15 minutes drive away from the airport. We didn't want their excess waiver as we've got a separate annual policy, they tried scare tactics to try and make us purchase their policy, including being told if the car is stolen we would have to pay £10,000. As we wouldn't purchase their cover we need to leave a credit card deposit in case of accident, allegedly the card was declined - however the card provider confirmed Hit Car Hire didn't attempt to take a deposit. Instead they made us buy their cover which was more than what we paid for the car.
They advertise as being open 24/7, when we took the car park the site was closed and locked up.
Don't get out of the car outside their car park, I did and the driveway was so badly maintained and with broken curbs that I fell off the end and down a slope approximately 6 foot high, I never thought I'd be grateful to have a bed of thistles and weeds to cushion a fall.
Avoid at all costs.

I had a good experience with this rental service. The car was clean and ran smoothly. The prices were reasonable, and the staff was helpful and professional.

I rented a lot of cars in my life and this is the WORST experience ever!!!

FIRST, I waited over hour in airport waiting for their shuttle to pick me up (they said 10 minutes) and this was very annoying because me and my child were very tired after 15+ hours of flying.

SECOND, they scam you on car security deposit where they “can’t” take your credit card and you need to pay for “extra insurance” which turns out to be more than the rental cost. They use a card processor terminal that is purposely pre programmed to “decline” your card. Classic scam and I will be recalling my money back for it, screw these scammers and burn in hell 🖕

THIRD they don’t maintain their fleet, a car they gave me had dry rotten tires and as result one tire blew on highway this could be a bad incident. The company told me I need to pay for new tire out of my pocket and they will reimburse. Guess what, they never did. At least as of writing of this review they haven’t.

I had a blast and great time in Turkey. But these scammers sitting at this rental location is what makes bad reputation in this country. Especially beware of the skinny dude with big eyes working evening shift. Absolutely pathetic piece of crap.

The car wasn't as clean as I expected, but it was functional. The staff was nice, but I wish the vechile had better maintained. Prices were okay.

The rental process was easy, and the car was in good condition. The prices were reasonable, and the staff was friendly. I would recommend this service.
