Vendo work chair from hjh-office.co.uk website
This is a fairly expensive chair bought for its height.
The supplied bolts and fittings did not match those specified in the leaflet and washers were required to fix the seat to its frame and only 3 of 4 were supplied even though not mentioned in the instructions.
The chair lacks adjustability for the back position, the underseat control having little effect and the seat is not as comfortable as expected for an 8 hour a day chair. The adjustable lumbar support is too rigid for my perssonal comfort.
Overall a dissappointing purchase for me which I would not recommend to others.

Basically, the Vendo Work is assembled without washers, the washers are not needed. The assembly instructions can already be viewed on our homepage before purchase.

Inadequate packaging?
Unfortunately, the package arrived damaged resulting in a cut on the seat. I've only emailed the company to make them aware so hoping they will provide a replacement. I've taken pictures of the box and also our CCTV to show it was delivered like that.
Otherwise, the chair is very sturdy and the delivery was quick.

Very dishonest company
Very dishonest company. Been monitoring their prices, in anticipation for any after Christmas sales. One chair in particular has been 389 for maybe the past month. Then on December 22, the price increased by 30 pounds to 409. Im assuming they will drop the price after Christmas in an attempt to convince people they are getting a deal. But it’s actually the same price it has always been. So rather than me spending 389 or 409, I’ll be spending 0 and taking my business elsewhere. Good job!

Faster delivery before chasing reviews please
This was the 8th working day since I ordered my chairs (5-8 working day delivery), and no chairs yet.
Fair enough - I know things are busy. But I have been contacted 3 times already for a product review.
I’d prefer more effort into the delivery than chasing my feedback please. Can only give 3 stars since they haven’t arrived yet.

Poor service and missing parts
No contact before the delivery. The chair was left with a neighbour. The screw bag was empty with no single screw in it so I cannot assemble the chair.

I had to buy another item to get the…
I had to buy another item to get the item I actually wanted to be delivered. I ended up getting the upholstery cleaner. I received the package today and the box was very damaged and the upholstery cleaner was empty of any fluid inside. Looked like the packaging for the chair has been rushed so I’m guessing they rushed packing the cleaner. Not great

Disappointed with the delivery of this order!
First, my order took longer than the promised 6 - 8 working days. After I made calls and written an e-mail to complain about this, the delivery attempt was finally made on the 10th working day. Even then, I did not receive my order - the reason they gave was that the Consignee was not at home which is not true because I have been at home waiting all along. At the time of placing my order, I had provided a phone number and was expecting to be called in case there was difficulty in tracing my apartment, but no one called. I am still waiting for my order as we speak! I was referred to local delivery company and I am goin through the process of arranging a re-delivery. Very bad experience for me!
