Don't pre-order!
I won't pre-order music again from HMV. My CD arrived in store for collection the day after the national release so I could have just walked into the store and bought it the day before!

Always well treated
Always well treated, offers for 4K and Blu-ray are great but unfortunately there is a bit too much junk/ toys / funky merch for kids that has reduced the selection in-store

The man behind counter took my name then had to really look for the record I ordered click and collect, he was really patient did not try to fob me off, he was polite and asked my name again and then produced the record A1c5 stars

My DVD purchase could not have been…
My DVD purchase could not have been better, but on collection at the Brighton store, I wanted to browse the World Cinema DVD section only to discover it has been discontinued. All the DVDs are lumped together so I didn't bother to browse them all. A retrograde step imo.

Whilst we do like to refresh the look of our stores and show off all of the new products that we have available for our customers to own, we’d never intend this to cause confusion or limit the finding of our items, in this case world cinema dvds, so we’re disappointed to hear this may have been the case on this occasion.
All of the sections within our stores should have clear signage so that our customers know which items are where but thanks for taking the time to bring this to our attention, which we’ll review. In the meantime, don’t hesitate to ask for help from one of our colleagues in the store and they’ll be happy to take a look for you.
