Great service one item delivered to…
Great service one item delivered to wrong address but that was Royalmails fault and the neighbour dropped it down to me 2 days later.
But the other order was delivered to the right address.

Damaged record. Again, and again, and again
Ordered a record to pick up in store. Record was damaged. Ordered a new one online. Also arrived damaged. Store ordered again. The exact same damaged record was sent again. Staff in branch apologetic but clearly HMV in general are inept. Don't bother with em.

On February 10th I ordered a film to watch with my husband for Valentine’s. Your colleague ordered it in store and it was available for collection in two days, plenty of time. Really appreciate it. Prompt, efficient and courteous.

A Vinyl Offering That Goes Beyond Standard
I dealt with the manager at this store, informed, approachable and helpful at all times, the Brighton store is well laid out and has a surprisingly large selection of vinyl.

My order for two dvds was taken and hmv kept me continually updated on their progress throughout until it was handed over to Royal Mail for postal delivery, I received them both in one package, undamaged, so overall a great service, including RM.

I am the type of person who enjoys seeing a shop on the high street and buying things in person, even if that item had to be ordered in store, it meant I dealt with the staff member face to face. It happens that on this occasion, I was served by the manager himself, who was very polite and helpful. Making my purchase all the more pleasant.

I ordered a cd, it was dispatched, then the order cancelled once it reached the store. And no option of a replacement being sent out in its place

Service non existent
Order arrived on time but contained two copies of the same disc in a two disc set. As this order was click and collect from HMV I hoped to receive help from the store. Staff at the store were dismissive and unhelpful, just directing back to the website as my order was issued from a different warehouse. While this may be your business practice the customer will see you as one business and I strongly suggest that orders from the HMV website to be returnable at the local store, especially if they have been collected from the store as a matter of good customer service. The return via the website was awkward and unclear. I will never purchase from HMV online again.
