HMV Canterbury
Visited the hmv store in Canterbury after it reopened and was very pleased by the larger location. I asked a staff member (her name was Clem) for help finding a particular alien shirt I saw in the window and she was very kind, helpful and found the shirt quickly.

Brilliant Staff at HMV Canterbury (Vinyl Dept)!
I went into HMV Canterbury, specifically the vinyl department upstairs and a fabulous woman helped me locate a specific vinyl (Yungblud - Idols purple edition) which had sold out, With the help from her colleague, they managed to track down a copy that had been shipped over from another branch and was in the store room. I sadly cannot remember their names but I bought the album on 12th November so HMV can check who was working then. The two members of staff who helped me went above and beyond and were knowledgeable about music and brilliant!

Gary in the Canterbury branch served us today , I was looking for a couple of older films on dvd he took the time and effort to try and track them down and found one was still available and ordered it for home delivery. Pointless Pre-order
I pre-ordered Jurassic Park Rebirth before the date when it was actually released. Method of delivery was click and collect into my local store. However, I wasn't contacted by the store to say it had arrived until 2 days after the release date. So it was fairly pointless pre-ordering, as I might as well have gone into the store on the release date and bought it then and I would have got it quicker!

The experience that made it great was going into a store, speaking to shop staff, having someone discuss the process and ordering the film for me in the store.
I’m quite capable of ordering from Amazon or Zavvi online, however, going into a physical store having a browse is why anyone goes to HMV.
Friendly personnel, I’m very glad HMV is back in Canterbury.
