4 stars due to the following:
I ordered several items for my daughter's 18th birthday, and 4 items were on a pre-order release, which I had placed months ahead because they were limited edition items. Sadly only 1 out of those 4 items in my order was fulfilled, but I only found out on the day my order was dispatched (for Click & Collect) that they didn't have them in stock as they had sold out, despite that I had already pre-ordered and paid for them pre-sale. I did get a refund, but it would have been nice if I had been notified sooner so I could have arranged something else in their place.
Apart from that, a great store with a wide range & good customer service.

So the collection was easy with good communication but the website is a pain- please redesign so that it’s easier to use.

HMV go one step beyond!
HMV were the only outlet that managed to obtain and supply the CD I had been after for sometime. It had to be ordered by them but arrived for collection exactly as they predicted - excellent service all round.

My recent purchase was made easy
My recent purchase was made easy. I went in to buy 3 for £50 on the 4k blu rays. I wanted Prometheus, sicaro 1 and 2. When I got to the Exeter store, all but Sicaro 2 was available. I asked the colleague if there was any stock out back and he replied with, there is the box set for £30 and I said that I like them in separate cases. He then informed me that this box set is two separate ones and even took me to it to show me. As Prometheus was £19.99, I still got the 3 movies I walked in for and actually saved 2p by doing it this way and had such a friendly experience.
