Obscure Old Horror film.
Got what I needed, despite it being quite an old and obscure horror movie. Only minor disappointment was that it wasn’t immediately in stock and had to be posted to me. Minor issue though as I said.

Wanted to buy instore to support a local store.
Store very busy and a queue. Both staff engaged with customers.The one nearest freed up and i asked if he could just tell me if the item i wanted was on rack or behind counter. Despite glares from queue ( oops) he answered politely and quickly. I needed to order & joined queue. Got served by the same guy who dealt with the order. Again, polite, friendly chatty and sale completed. An easy visit with no hassle. Had hoped to get item off shelf but despite checking stock at store i was delayed and hence had to order but item was a fast mover .
For the same reason, delivery was held up but mail updates were good.
Product packed well and arrived safe and secure and worth waiting for. Only marked down for no stock - but not really their fault.

Took a lot longer from getting the dispatched email to it actually getting the album in store(10 days) and I only found out that it was in because I popped in store to see if it was available in store.

Once ordered no correspondence
Once I had ordered I heard nothing. So one week later I went to store and my parcel was there but I wasn’t informed. No e mail at all not in my junk either because I checked.

I waited 10 minutes to be served while…
I waited 10 minutes to be served while the guy behind the counter chatted with his female colleague - they also were looking at their phones and giggling!! I did an order online and when he finally served me he couldn't find my parcel. He disappeared out the back for another 5 minutes and came back and told me they didn't have it even though I had the confirmation. His female colleague intervened and found my parcel behind the counter!! Really really bad service!!

Shocking! Disrespected and let down!
Shocking! Pre ordered a vinyl for click and collect! Not available on release day! Still not available! They had a copy in store and still refused to let me have it! Any music fan wants the item on release day! How can a click and collect order be ready when they have stock in store! Never again will I use HMV sadly. Supervisor in store spoke to me like a 4 year old child when I was very polite! Why not give me one from store and swap it for the one being delivered to the store! That would have been customer service right! So disappointed!

HMV customer service was really good considering part of my order had been misplaced.
The 2 lads on the desk were fantastic and found my order even tho it took a while .
