The staff member at the Stockport…
The staff member at the Stockport branch was very polite, helpful and professional they helped me find what I was looking for without any problems and also recommended artists that I may be interested So I purchased a couple more CDs which I was very pleased with.

Ordered. Item arrived. Collected from Stockport store staff member was friendly and it was easy. Only minor issues were with the website but nothing major. The delivery and service were excellent

Not wheelchair friendly
Click and Collect is upstairs and staff won't bring your item down if you can't use the stairs, so you have to go out of the shop and use the shopping centre lift to get to the upstairs door. Fine, except that door is kept locked. No one downstairs let the upstairs staff know I was there, so I had to knock for several minutes. When the staff member opened the door, he seemed annoyed with me for being there when he wasn't warned. I asked why they didn't have a bell - apparently people would ring it too much. Right. Good to know how highly HMV values accessibility. I won't be shopping there again.

We were sorry to hear of your disappointment following your recent visit to our hmv Stockport store.
Please be advised that for customers who may be unable to access the upper floor, staff in store on the lower floor will always be available to retrieve items upon request. We would therefore recommend making yourself known to staff downstairs who will be happy to help.
We would like to assure you that we have forwarded your comments regarding access via the upstairs door to the store manager who will review your suggestions, but certainly would like to apologise again for the inconvenience this caused during your visit.
Love this store
Love this store, been going for years. Hate ordering online, when I couldn't find what I wanted the assistant Martin offered to deal with it. He found all 4 movies and had them sent to my address. It was so simple, stress free and so convenient.
Martin was super friendly and helpful.

Great… but
When I bought 3 for 66 they had the 66 pending but took the money separately too. Couldn’t afford the bus so got put on Andy burnhams watch list. Sorted now and albums were fine but still inconvenient
