Homebase - Stamford Reviews 100

I bought a drill this morning and realised that I had got the wrong model. So I popped back a few hours later to swap. Now I know they don't exist as such ( becoming a range ) but they wouldn't exchange it even though they still had enough in.
I was told it would only be exchanged if damaged or I spent the same amount again.
So I'm now stuck with this drill. No goodwill was shown or any kindness. Just smugness.
I also bought several bags of compost. When I unpacked my boot, my battery compartment was swimming in dirty water from the bags.
I told the member of staff and she said well it's stored outside.
I've bought compost before and never had this happen.
Her answer was like 'what do you expect '.
Not a care at all.
So bring on the range. Pity they are keeping the staff. Need staff who are supportive of their customers.
No customer care here!!!

I went into store yesterday and the Christmas lights I wanted were sold out, It's the administration sale, and I enquired about buying the display ones.
A delivery had come in and Vickie kindly went through it and found the lights I wanted and I was very happy. Another lady wanted some specific lights too and Vickie found the ones she wanted as well. She was so helpful and did everything she could to solve our problem.
We were two very happy ladies.
She is a member of staff who is a credit to the store.

Well Tracey at Homebase Stamford an amazing human being helpful understanding polite we need more people like her in the world and all the staff were very nice and friendly.

On the downside we visited the Huntingdon store and we’re verbally abused by the manager not willing to listen or help or even understand our issues he was that rude we contemplated calling the police disgusting behaviour from the store manager.

Homebase called to advise me of my click and collect order, and it was already for me on arrival. Excellent service.

We purchased wallpaper from the store and had some concerns in regards to this. I did a webchat with customer services, who I must say was not helpful at all, they purely told me to go back to the store. Vikki at the Stamford store was amazing, she supported us with the concern, she listened to what we had to say and she kept in touch throughout. She is a real asset to Homebase .

Ordering on line was very easy. Received perfect communication. In store to collect, staff very pleasant and welcoming plus goods were ready to collect. Overall hassle free

I know customer service is difficult, so praise where it is deserved.

A wonderful range of household goods … easy to find your way round … but it’s a real Aladdin’s cave! Great service too!

Tracey was the customer service person I dealt with and she was amazing - friendly and very helpful. The product I purchased was very affordable and good quality.

I was asking for help for bringing all the stuff to my car and then very great service to help me out! I thank you Tracy and Ethen. Maybe you can have an another casher when so many people on the line is better, people do not like to wait for having and carrying heavy to things.

Tracy is smiling and nice, the customers are so friendly elderly people. it was fun to chat time!

My click and collect order was completed quickly. The staff were lovely and the whole experience was straightforward.

Friendly, helpful service when I click collected the logs I ordered. One split bag so they included a small extra bag for free which was really appreciated!

The worst ever experiences- they tried to sell two 500ml and not the 2lt I had ordered them tried to make me buy 4x 500ml and a dearer price - Nah good bye to that order. Also a checkout person was trying to put her nose in and undermine the assistant I was working with, so very unprofessional

Collected my items that can only be described as FILTHY. I don’t expect to buy some brand new plastic drawers and need to give them a thorough deep clean before I use them as they are caked in mud, dirt & grime.

Easy to order, lady member of staff was brilliant on collection.

Very kind young man served me , he was smart polite and friendly .
