The pool areas are nice, but there is very little shelter from the wind.
They should not be allowed to advertise having a gym, as there are about 10 tiny pathetic items that they call equipment.

Loved Our Stay at Globales Calas de Vinas!

Fantastic week at Globales Calas Viñas — great food, loads of variety, and brilliant staff throughout, notably the bar, reception and dining teams. Excellent value for money and a lovely atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back as we enjoyed it thoroughly!

Globales Cala Blanca, Menorca

Just returned from two weeks in the Globales Cala Blanca in Menorca. What a fabulous hotel. Fantastic staff right across the board. Animation team were outstanding, so enthused and happy. Brilliant day time and evening entertainment. The hotel is spotless there is always someone cleaning something. Food was amazing, so much choice, well cooked and presented. Bar staff were so professional and I never queued once for a drink. All staff so friendly. My only suggestion would be no ball games in the pool but you cannot fault this hotel. Travelled 11/8/25. Two adults and a ten year old. Travelled with TUI and they were brilliant on all levels as well.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL

TUI Suneo Tamaimo Globales - Tenerife
DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL

Cockroach infestation that is not managed by the hotel staff. In total we had a minimum of 20 in our room.
We stayed in Puerto Santiago, Tenerife and we could not relax or sleep. The hotel is overrun with cockroaches. TUI reps were unhelpful. They told us to request a room change and the hotel refused.
I would recommend the area but not the hotel

Globales Tamaimo Tropical - Tenerife

We (family of 4) have just returned from a weeks vacation at the above…

Do not bother… nowhere near value for money!

Key Issues
• Cockroach infestation – over three evenings we found cockroaches in our apartment, as well as on sunbeds during the day and around the bar at night. This caused such distress to our teenage daughters that all four of us slept in one room despite paying for a two-bedroom apartment. We were advised that the room had been treated with a chemical spray after our complaint but I do not believe this was done.
• Unhelpful staff – poor attitude from many staff, bar closing before advertised hours, and unresponsive management.
• Food repetition & poor quality – lunch and dinner menus almost identical daily, forcing us to eat out despite being all-inclusive.
• Repeated key card failures – at least five reprogramming trips to reception.
• Departure day inconvenience – allocated a shower room on the 5th floor while luggage was on the 1st floor, then forced to carry items down four flights when the lift didn’t work.

Room for improvement

We recently stayed at Globales Lord Nelson in Santo Tomás, Menorca, and overall, we had a good experience with a few areas that could be improved.

10 days/half board/adult only

Reception & Staff:
The reception area was lovely and very clean. Staff were polite, friendly, and welcoming, creating a positive first impression. Check-in was smooth and straightforward.

Food & Dining:
The food was a highlight, with a great variety each day featuring different international cuisines. We especially enjoyed the self-serve ice cream maker — a fun touch that allowed us to make our own cornetto-style treats.

Entertainment:
Daytime entertainment was excellent. A young woman worked tirelessly to engage guests in activities such as archery, shooting, boules, and more. She was incredibly enthusiastic and even continued her role in the evenings, showing real dedication. Evening entertainment was also impressive — we enjoyed karaoke nights, live acts, and a particularly memorable magic show. However, all entertainment finished rather early at 10:30 PM, at which point the main lights came on abruptly. Considering this is an adults-only hotel, we expected the evening atmosphere to continue a little longer.

Bar Service:
The bar staff were friendly and attentive, contributing to a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere throughout our stay.

Room & Cleanliness:
We stayed on the first floor in a room with an inland-facing balcony. The room was generally clean, and beds were made up perfectly each day. However, there were several issues:
• The sink had black mould in the overflow and grime around the plug hole.
• The toilet layout was awkward — it faced the vanity unit directly, requiring you to sit sideways with your knees under the sink. The toilet seat was loose and unstable, which made it uncomfortable, particularly at night.
• Housekeeping appeared inconsistent. A piece of fabric in the shower remained untouched for over two days, indicating that cleaning was not thorough.
• Unfortunately, my Banana Boat after-sun lotion with a pump dispenser went missing from the room. I suspect it was mistaken for a cleaning product. When I raised the issue at reception, it wasn’t taken seriously — the receptionist didn’t write anything down, and I felt dismissed. This left me frustrated, especially after a day in the sun when I needed the lotion.

Conclusion:
Despite some room-related issues and the early end to evening entertainment, we had a good stay overall. The food, entertainment, and friendly staff — particularly in the bar and activity areas — made for an enjoyable holiday. With a few improvements in housekeeping and guest support, this hotel could offer an even better experience.

Staff theft and blatant cover-up – avoid this hotel at all costs

I stayed at Globales Costa Tropical from July 26th to August 2nd, and while the location and facilities might seem acceptable for a 3-star hotel, the experience was completely ruined by a theft carried out by hotel staff and the shocking attempt by reception to cover it up.

On our second morning, after breakfast, we went to the pool around 10am. About an hour later, my partner returned to the room to find her watch and rings missing – items she had only just taken off before going to the pool. The room was locked, the windows shut, no signs of forced entry. Only hotel staff could have accessed the room.

We immediately went to reception, who were visibly flustered. First, we were told no cleaners work on Sundays. When we pointed out that the maid carts were outside our door, they quickly changed their story. It was eventually admitted that a maid had entered our room “by mistake” – but we were told she left right away. So why did our valuables go missing? No explanation. Just repeated deflection.

What followed was a disgrace. No manager came to speak with us, despite being told they were “called.” Instead, we were surrounded by several members of the cleaning staff, all speaking Spanish and all asking one thing: “Did you pay for the safety deposit box?” As if not paying for extra security somehow made it acceptable for staff to steal from our room.

We asked for the police to be called. Reception told us there were none available and if we wanted to report the crime, we’d have to travel 1.5 hours to the main police station. It was obvious: they wanted us to drop it. They weren’t interested in helping. This was a deliberate attempt to discourage a report and protect the staff involved.

After we raised the issue, the cleaning staff refused to service our room for the rest of the week. Bedding and towels were only changed when we complained. We also heard from other guests who had valuables stolen during their stay, so this is clearly not an isolated incident.

Yes, the pool was clean, the food was fine, and the room itself was decent – but none of that matters when your belongings are stolen by hotel staff and management actively tries to cover it up.

Avoid this hotel. Don’t be fooled by the cheap price – you’ll pay far more if your valuables go missing and you’re left with no support, no responsibility, and no justice.

I stayed at Globales Fuengirola

I stayed at Globales Fuengirola, Spain. Look tired and outdated. Breakfast is not so yummy but big choices; dinner is good, lots of choices, hot and clean food, staff are very friendly and polite. Rooms are clean and Reception staff are helpful too.

Definitely Not A 4⭐️

Just back from spending a week at the Globales Santa Lucia, Palma Nova, and can honestly say we will not be returning. We stayed there back in 2021 and were so impressed with it then that we decided to go again for our holiday this year. This hotel has a 4⭐️ rating from TUI but unfortunately based on our stay we struggle to give this hotel more than a 2⭐️ So much has changed for the worse since our previous visit. We absolutely love Palma Nova and the one and only good thing about the Santa Lucia is the location which is right on the beach front and near all the bars, restaurants & shops.

The room was average in size and the bathroom was outdated. The air con in the room was not very good and we would recommend leaving one of your door cards in the slot permanently so the air con is left on all day. There was one morning when we discovered a large cockroach like bug on the floor near the bed which was still alive! The shower gel provided by the hotel was nearly empty and remained that way throughout our stay so just as well we bought our own. There are 3 lifts in the hotel but you have to wait quite some time to get one and when it comes it is usually full .

We were Half Board and all we can say is thank god we didn’t go All Inclusive! The food was poor and not much selection and was luke warm. There was always a queue at the freshly cooked food station as there was always only one person doing it. The coffee machines kept running low and breaking down and when you were lucky to get a cup it was disgusting. The orange juice machine was unpredictable and on more than one occasion it came out clear! The waitresses were miserable and we struggled to get a smile from them and they were slow in clearing the used plates from the tables. Only good thing was we were always able to get a table.

The day we arrived we were lucky to get some sun-beds around the pool purely because it was around 5pm and people had left to get ready for dinner! We had one other pool day where we managed to get the last sun-beds on the upper level which has wooden decking and as the day goes on gets red hot and burns your feet! The cushions on the sun-beds were filthy due to the dirt on the floor and some of the umbrellas were bent and broken. These were the only two days we were able to go around the pool as every morning from 7am there was a queue of people with their towels from the pool entrance extending to the restaurant entrance. Despite there being signs everywhere stating no reserving beds people were doing this and then disappearing for hours and the hotel & TUI reps did nothing about it and they didn’t even enforce their own rules! We had to spend the rest of our holiday paying €25 a day to go to the beach as we had no other choice and we certainly wasn’t going to get up at 7am to join the queue for sun-beds. There were not enough beds for the amount of guests staying at the hotel unless you want to pay extra for a Superior Room where you had your own rooftop pool & beds. On the day we were leaving and waiting for our coach we witnessed another guest complaining to the TUI reps about reserving sun-beds and they just brushed it to one side. It would seem they are only interested when you are spending money on their excursions! Also if you want to buy drinks around the pool the bars are cashless, which we only discovered by fault. Apparently you need a fob which you upload cash onto and use this to pay, something that was not explained to us when checking in or by TUI. Towels are available to hire with a €10 deposit however if you want the towel changed at any point you have to pay €1 each time.

Recommendations:
- make sure you take extra Euros because unless you want to be getting up super early every morning you will end up having to pay to go on the beach.
- Avoid going All Inclusive. If this hotel offered Bed & Breakfast we would have gone for that option.
- If you prefer being around the pool and can afford to, go for Superior Rooms as they have their own rooftop pool & beds.

Ok but better out there

Our room was on the 4th floor with a view of the pool and sea which I think was one of the better rooms except for the ants or running around the floor.
The lifts to the rooms are very small so if you're at all cloister phobic then they are not for you.
There was no information in the rooms regarding what's included/ meal times/ TV so had to ask reception to photocopy the one they had at reception.
The food in the restaurant was lovely with a nice selection and something for everyone.
The pool area was ok apart from the usual idiots putting towels on sun beds at 5am. More sun-beds are urgently needed.
The staff were pleasant apart from the man on the desk when we had to leave early due to a medical issue. All we got was a ok and a grunt as we handed him our room keys. The most friendly person we met at the hotel was the TUl rep.
We have been to all inclusive hotels around the world and have to say that what is included in this hotel is very limited.
I can't say if this hotel would be for you as l have no idea what you would compare it to but for us, we think there are far better ones.

Cheap and cheerful but recommended at the price.

Having read other reviews about Globales hotels in Mallorca I'm very glad I chose the Palmanova Palace. Plus points are the food which was some of the best I've had at even 5 star hotels. There was bingo and entertainment every evening which you don't always get. The staff were efficient and friendly too. Another plus point is it's a 5 minutes walk to the beach and bus stops to Palma and Santa Ponsa, which we loved. Also there are dozens of restaurants of many varieties just 5 to 10 minutes away. Now for the minus points: The swimming pool was on the small side but there were always sunbeds available without the need to reserve them early morning. There weren't many all inclusive cocktails available and my favourite, piña colada, would have cost €6.50. There was no kettle in the room and we missed our tea and coffee. The wardrobe was small with not enough clothes hangers. The air conditioning was too loud so I had to switch it off at night. Thankfully it wasn't that hot so I made do with having the balcony door wide open. Despite all this I would recommend it as a fair priced budget hotel.

Food let’s this hotel down

We went to the hotel GLOBALES in Palma. You say it’s 4 star . I think you need to change it to 3 star . The staff fantastic hotel clean but what lets this hotel down is the food . Breakfast cold as eggs are fried before hand and left in the trays . If you get the food right you can say 4 star but not st the moment .

Great experience

Great location
Great staff
Great food

Only 2 negatives;
1) The bar closes at 8.30pm
2) If you don't get a Sea view then you're staring at a big white wall(we did get the sea view and definitely worth the money)

Globales Palma nova

Globales Palma nova.
Arrival 16/09/24-23/09/24.
Arrived around 1:30pm Spanish time.
All inclusive.
Reception staff were short and unwelcoming!.
We were given the room key only to find one of them didn’t work. We had to walk down 7 flights of stairs due to there being only 2 lifts for the Hotel which held only 4 persons or 2 persons with luggage.
The room key was reprogrammed.
The room door had to be shoulder barged to open it.
Room very small, curtain had small rips in it. Hand soap dispenser didn’t dispense any soap. Ants were seen in the Bathroom just around the door frame. We had no food/ drinks in the room as a result of seeing ants. This was reported on several occasions.
We were given what we called our gambling chips in exchange for a drink. The chips are kept behind the bar and only given back once you return your glass/ plastic beaker!. One can only assume this is keep the pool area tidy so only minimum staff are needed on duty.
The bar staff, reception staff were to say the least miserable. They were unwelcoming and at times rude slamming drinks down when asked for one. They came across as not wanting to serve anyone.
The pool area lacked any atmosphere , no music nothing.
The restaurant was small, we only ate Breakfast and evening meal as we went to the beach each day.
The food was limited and of our quality, not very hot. I spotted an ant in the yogurt!!.
I made our bed everyday of our stay yet the chamber maid still didn’t clean the room fully putting towels we had left to be changed back in the bathroom. I know this as I left a make-up mark purposefully in one corner of a towel.
Empty bottles of water were left in the room and not taken from the room by the maid.
Once we were leaving we were not asked if we’d had a good stay the staff just didn’t seem to care.
I wouldn’t recommend or stay there again.
Seriously you need to clean your act up aswel as the rooms.
