Globales mimosa (mallorca Palma nova )…
Globales mimosa (mallorca Palma nova ) terrible place with terrible rude staff they almost ruined my holiday of it wasn’t for jet 2 I don’t no what I would of done ! Came home from the beach one day with a crack in the shower they blamed my kids for it when they could never of reached Iast it was right at the top !!! They said my kids must of jumped !!! Not child friendly at all kids can’t play with toys or floats at the pool the staff demanded I pay them €350 euros jet 2 dealt with it and said I don’t have to pay however every time jet 2 left the hotel they rang my room for me to come down to the desk and started demanding the money again I’m really really disgusted because my experience at globales binimar in menorca was amazing I’ve been 3 times!!! I wouldn’t ever return to globales mimosa EVER rude and unfriendly almost ruined my holiday there was 1 man at the desk what was friendly apart from that all the other staff was rude and offensive they told me I better go get the money to pay for the shower , when I said I didn’t have £350 for a shower I didn’t brake they told me ring England and burrow it and I just get it from somewhere or they are ringing the police !!! Made my kids cry saying we will be arrested !! when we left the room to go to the beach it was fine we left the cleaner in the room and came back to a crack in the shower and we got the blame really disgusted it ruined my first 3 days big time so glad jet 2 re located me to Leonardo royal I really am a big thank you to jet 2 I wouldn’t return to globales mimosa ever horrible place what terrified my children
Spent lovely holiday here 3 weeks ago
Spent lovely holiday here 3 weeks ago, lovely clean room, very pleasant helpful staff ,special thanks to Susanna at the pool bar for being so friendly and for keeping an eye on me, having limited mobility this was very much appreciated. Few complaints about food, and evening entertainment, but then again depends what you want. This was my second visit and will hopefully be there again in October.
Globales Hotel Palma Nova
Just returned from 4 nights for 60th Birthday celebrations - not there to have crazy Magaluf times but would have liked some background music around the pool (as many others agreed) but due to residential area unable to do so? Strange that the disco in the hotel entertainment on an evening appeared to be blasting awful music out at 11pm though ? Staff ..... many rude and uninterested and actually made us feel we were an inconvenience asking for a drink - I believe Dani was a hot miserable favourite actually ! Yes we were a hinderance to him for sure. We are jolly ladies and try to strike up a friendly conversation, tidy up cups after ourselves but no - not interested at all ! Reception staff stood having conversations with each other whilst there was a queue. Overall would not stay again - really un-welcoming hotel - it's sad as could be great with a few little friendly touches !! If i was the Manager i would certainly be offering some Customer Service Training to my staff
Went to the Globale Hotel and Wellness…
Went to the Globale Hotel and Wellness in Liege, out of date rooms, arrogant rude staff, food orders being forgotten and a possible prostitution problem
Hotel Globales Palmanova VIP all inclusive…
We booked Hotel Palmanova all inclusive with VIP access.
As it was start of the season the hotel was immaculately clean. The rooms were comfortable and kept clean by daily maid service. Only real issue with the rooms is the walls are paper thin so all arguments and amorous activities are very audible!
The food was not repetitive but there was not a lot of choice, especially if you are even a little fussy like me.
My main issue was with breakfast. On every other all inclusive holiday we have had even with Globales, there is omelette at breakfast, but not in this hotel which was devastating for me.
The VIP area is nice. Being adult only it was a bit quieter and very comfortable with Bali beds, big mattresses on sun beds, 2 x Jacuzzi's (cold water) and then the let down of the serve yourself snack bar.
Drinks were OK, beer, wine, Cava, Prosecco and soft drinks, but the snacks were lacking in variety with Pizza and cheese ham toasties every day, more choice would have been good.
Evening entertainment left a lot to be desired.
All in all a OK holiday, could have been better with a few tweaks.
Apartamentos Globales Verdemar Santa Ponca
Apartamentos Globales Verdemar Santa Ponca Mallorca.
Had a few days (last minute) break staying here. The bed was comfortable and the accommodation was very good for the price. Have no complaints about the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the place. It was early season so the hotel restaurant wasn’t open but that didn’t spoil our stay. Only downside is zero parking at the apartments and very difficult to park close by, so please be warned - even in low season.
Appalling Head Office Customer Relations
WARNING about booking on their own online website!!!We booked a room on their website with free 48 hour concellation. 4 days beforehand went down with covid and had to cancel in good time and received a cancellation confirmation. BUT we were still charged in full and cannot get this back!!! REASON there was a glitch in their system that doublebooked us with a ghost second booking. Both with the same reservation number. So we only cancelled one, but obviously not the fake one, the glitch ghost one we knew nothing about!! Endless emails offering proof and common sense. Yet customer relation have refused our money back. Just a voucher with conditions that we don't want. Customer relations are appalling. Like banging head on a wall. Their mistake our cost. So you have been warned (I have all emails of proof)
We stayed in a Hotel in Lanzarote…
We stayed in a Hotel in Lanzarote called Relaixa Olivina it was very poor for an all in trip the food was terrible we had bad weather on one of the day's my wife fell and nothing was done between 4 to 5 people fell on that day they had towels down to soak up the rain there was a pool of water just before you go into the restaurant of the hotel nó mats were put down when my wife fell the receptionist came down and all she said the sign was up the hotel had no wheelchair I had to hire a wheelchair plus no one out of management approach us. For a holiday that we spent 2145 euros all in we spent another 1300 extra in eating out every night Faulty Towers would have been better to stay in.
Have recently stayed in one of your…
Have recently stayed in one of your places in Majorca. Jews and animation team were amazing. Hotel room itself could do with modernising but overall great holiday
6th Visit to this hotel and sad to say…
6th Visit to this hotel and sad to say didn’t live up to the previous 5 which were all outstanding.
Positives continue to be the food, you will never go hungry. The rooms clean and tidy and you never have any trouble getting a sun bed. It is all good except for 2 key things that let it down,
The Entertainment staff don’t engage at all in the 12 days we were there. That is both the Hotel Animation and Fram team. No announcement re activities and the most irritating part was 2 entertainers who constantly played the music so loud with bass that you couldn’t hear yourself talk!!
Now we don’t go for entertainment staff to be in your face however just talking to guests would be nice and it costs nothing. These represent your hotel and in all previous years all entertainment staff have engaged regardless - this was a huge plus of how multi cultural the hotel was and I think based on this showing it has lost that.
I have tried to be really balanced with my review and whilst 3 stars may seem harsh I am so sorry to say it has lost its magic.
We were planning to celebrate a huge occasion next year with a large party going to this hotel however we may well have to rethink this now, seriously loved this place and how multi cultural it was, the entertainment team and lack of engagement let it down so badly!!
Looks like it won’t be a seventh visit to this hotel that has lost its spark!!!!!
i have just got home from the Globales…
i have just got home from the Globales Samoa in Majorca, and would defiantly go back again, the hotel was spotlessly clean, the staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them, the food was fantastic, such a variety, even for the vegetarian in our group, the only slight let down is there is defiantly not enough sun beds for the amount of guests at the hotel, but everything else 100%
Disappointing Hotel
After our 2020 holiday was cancelled due to Covid, my mum and I were really excited about finally getting away to Majorca. TUI Suneo (actually called Hoteles Globales) wasn't our first choice but when rebooking our holiday, the images looked really good, it stated it was a 4 star hotel and had good reviews pre covid.
However, when we arrived on the evening of 19th June 2022 - we were instantly disappointed.
Firstly, the Santa Ponsa Park resort has two hotels adjoined, we were sent to the wrong hotel and at reception, was told to walk through the hotel to reach the other reception.. no one helped us with our bags, even though we had to trapse them around the pool, down stairs and through the entertainment room.
Once we got to the reception, although they all spoke English, we had to sign documents that were all in Spanish, so we didn't know what we were signing.. there was also a 33€ tourist tax for the two of us that we weren't told about.. we only bought 50€ as it was meant to be an all inclusive holiday.
Issues we found were:
- If you want to use the safe, you have to pay 10€ for the key.
- Broken/ poor air con in the room and across the hotel (others guest we spoke to mentioned this to) and the metal vent fell down from the ceiling in the night.
- We paid for a room with a balcony and view, the balcony overlooked the car park.
- Noise all throughout the night inside the hotel, on the busy street below and in early hours of the morning when deliveries arrived.
- The free WiFi doesn't work so you pay 25€ for 3 days of 'premium wifi' that's also not great.
- You would think at the end of June, it might still be quiet and have less kids, however the hotel was extremely busy.
- There were not enough sun loungers for the amount of people, and guests would literally have a punch up over whose towel was put their first. The hotel had even less parasols to shade yourself.
- Dirty / broken tiles and plaster falling off the external walls.
- No smoking area and for non smokers, it's not nice sitting around everyone smoking while you're swimming, sunbathing, eating etc.
- Guests bring Bluetooth speakers and it ends up in who can get theirs the loudest. No staff said anything about this either.
- Limited pool snacks, no crisps etc and the ice creams come in yogurt pots.
- Bad pool toilets, unclean and the door is literally see-through.
- The entertainment was bad and started too late and there were limited channels on TV in the room as there's no signal.
- Dirty Bedroom floors.
- More than once we put our towels at the bottom of the shower to be changed (this is what they tell you to do) but they didn't get changed - so had to use towels that had been on the wet shower floor.
- Limited variety of food, same food every day and similar food for lunch and dinner and food is not signposted so you don't know what it is, allergies etc.
- Uncomfortable beds and pillows.
- The sink in the bathroom would take at least two minutes to drain properly.
- Toilet didn't flush well and had pipes showing.
- Some alcoholic drinks are not part of all inclusive (cocktails)
As you can probably tell from the above, we weren't very happy with our week long stay and won't be booking with TUI for our next holiday. This was certainly not a 4 star experience.
An Awesome Holiday Destination
Went to the Bouganvilla resort in Sa Coma, Majorca recently for 14 nights. My elderly mother was on holiday with me and our experience was a really good one! The staff at the resort, reception in particular, were professional, approachable and the quality of the hard work they did daily for the comfort of guests like myself was very much evident everywhere. The resort was immaculate in terms of cleanliness, with daily room cleans performed by the staff and the dining selection was very diverse to suit a wide range of appetites. This was the 11th time I have visited this resort and it was the most enjoyable holiday I have spent there to date. Cannot recommend highly enough, as a person with autism it is brilliant for families.
Me and my partner stayed at the Hotel…
Me and my partner stayed at the Hotel Globales Mimosa in September 2021. We arrived on the 12th and the weather was still glorious. The facilities at the hotel included a pool, an outside bar that also served hot food such as pizzas, fries, hot dogs and salad etc. Which was open from 11am until 6pm, a restaurant which serves three buffet style all-you-can-eat meals a day. Breakfast is from 8.30-10am, lunch is from 1pm-3pm and Dinner was 6-8.30pm. The food was delicious and was different everyday. There was also a bar and outside seating area for the night time which showed entertainment. The entertainment was mediocre and we went outside of the hotel every night for activities and a walk down the main beach front/ main bar strip. The all inclusive drinks/ selection was okay and could get 3 drinks at a time per person. The beach was only a 5 minute walk away and so was the main strip of bars and shops.
The staff was helpful and friendly and the rooms were cleaned and tired everyday.
The only thing I can complain about is the lifts to the rooms. There is 9 floors of rooms and 3 lifts. We was staying on the 8th floor and would sometimes stand waiting for a lift for up to half an hour. If you was in the ground floor and pressed the lift button and the lift was occupied and was coming from the 8th floor, somebody on the 7th, 6th & 4th could also press it and it would stop on every single floor. The lift was tiny and only big enough for 2 people, therefore you could be waiting to get in for a really long time.
Other than this, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone.
Stayed at globes binimar great hotel…
Stayed at globes binimar great hotel clean and tidy kids loved it. Would stay again
Don't Go!! I had a serious accident and they didn't care!!!
I booked 1 week’s holiday all-inclusive for myself and my partner staying at the Globales Gardenia Hotel Fuengirola in May 2019.
Whilst on holiday I had an accident, I was on the balcony having a cigarette and my partner was in bed so I had the balcony door shut, I got up to come back in and as I did I slipped and my foot went into the glass balcony door. The glass broke and fell onto my foot causing a big cut that had cut through 2 tendons on the top of my right foot. We called down to hotel reception and asked them to call an ambulance with my partner being a first aider he knew that this was a serious injury. About 40 minutes or so later a member of the hotel staff came to the room with a lady in a Hi-Vis waistcoat, she came in gave me an injection in my bum, I don’t know what that was! She tried to stop the bleeding and bandaged my foot but the blood would not stop. My boyfriend asked her who she was, if she was the first aider or if she was the hotel doctor, she said she was the doctor. H then asked for her name and identification which she did not have so my partner said that he did not want her touching me as she has no identification and we did not know who she was. The hotel staff and the lady were speaking to each other in Spanish and left us in the room. I was in quite a state of shock by this time and my foot was still bleeding. We then had call the ambulance ourselves as they did not help us at all. I was treated in the hospital where they stitched the tendons back together and put stitches in the cut, I also had a cast as I could not bear any weight on that foot, I was discharged the following day at around 10am. The hospital was not at all a pleasant experience the stitches were done by the light of someone’s mobile phone!!
We arrived back at the hotel at around 10.50 my partner seated me on the bench outside and went in to ask for a wheelchair. He was at first told that the hire of the wheelchair would be 10 Euros a day, he told the reception staff that I had had an accident the night before and the answer to that was “don’t cause trouble or we will call the Police”. At no time did the hotel staff ask me to tell them what happened, no accident/incident report not even so much as asking if I was ok!. They gave my partner the wheelchair at no cost and he came out and got me and we went back up to the room. On arriving at the room we were told we would have to wait 10 minutes as they finished cleaning it! We went back into the room and it had all been cleaned and the glass replaced. Like nothing had even happened!!!
As I was still quite distressed by this point what with all the blood and the terrible treatment at the hospital all I wanted to do was get the hell out of that hotel and get home.
My boyfriend took me down and put me outside in the wheelchair to wait for the Taxi whilst he checked us out. He told reception that we were checking out and they said that we would have to pay 200 Euros for the damages. My boyfriend was like “what do you mean 200 Euros my partner had an accident in your hotel room, I am not paying it!” Reception then said if we did not pay they would call the Police!!
I have never in my life received such bad treatment from a hotel and I really can’t believe that there was no accident report and they did not even ask any questions about what had happened. How was it not safety glass, why were there no stickers on the glass. To be honest the whole thing was a nightmare 2 days into the holiday and it was ruined. If the hotel staff had treated us with care and respect we might have stayed for the duration of the holiday but to have absolutely no conversation about the accident and to go back the room where everything was cleaned and replaced you would think it never happened. It seems like they were trying to ignore the fact that I had had quite a serious accident which resulted in me needing Hospital treatment
Tiny room,food basic,
Spotless
Spotless. service across the board excellent I got more than I paid for . Great hardworking staff . Food galore no complaints about service and food.Very clean . Only feel they could have had more lifts or bigger lifts Will definitely revisit one of Globales hotels.
