The rooms live up to a 3-star standard. The food and dining area are a complete inferno of noise and are only manageable if you arrive right at opening time and eat quickly. The pool areas are nice,... See more

A Great Relaxing Vacation
I stayed at Globales Samoa, Mallorca.
And had a great time there for 15 days.
With special compliments to the staff at the reception who were so friendly and the restaurant that made such delicious and different food every day (for 500+ guests.....its wooow!)
Globales Palma nova
Globales Palma nova.
Arrival 16/09/24-23/09/24.
Arrived around 1:30pm Spanish time.
All inclusive.
Reception staff were short and unwelcoming!.
We were given the room key only to find one of them didn’t work. We had to walk down 7 flights of stairs due to there being only 2 lifts for the Hotel which held only 4 persons or 2 persons with luggage.
The room key was reprogrammed.
The room door had to be shoulder barged to open it.
Room very small, curtain had small rips in it. Hand soap dispenser didn’t dispense any soap. Ants were seen in the Bathroom just around the door frame. We had no food/ drinks in the room as a result of seeing ants. This was reported on several occasions.
We were given what we called our gambling chips in exchange for a drink. The chips are kept behind the bar and only given back once you return your glass/ plastic beaker!. One can only assume this is keep the pool area tidy so only minimum staff are needed on duty.
The bar staff, reception staff were to say the least miserable. They were unwelcoming and at times rude slamming drinks down when asked for one. They came across as not wanting to serve anyone.
The pool area lacked any atmosphere , no music nothing.
The restaurant was small, we only ate Breakfast and evening meal as we went to the beach each day.
The food was limited and of our quality, not very hot. I spotted an ant in the yogurt!!.
I made our bed everyday of our stay yet the chamber maid still didn’t clean the room fully putting towels we had left to be changed back in the bathroom. I know this as I left a make-up mark purposefully in one corner of a towel.
Empty bottles of water were left in the room and not taken from the room by the maid.
Once we were leaving we were not asked if we’d had a good stay the staff just didn’t seem to care.
I wouldn’t recommend or stay there again.
Seriously you need to clean your act up aswel as the rooms.
Globales Costa Tropical
Globales Costa Tropical - we have just come back from a weeks stay.
Firstly, good points. The hotel itself was really nice. Rooms - we had 127 & 128 - and were very spacious and clean - shower was amazing. The pool area was lovely and there were plently of sunbeds. Pool was salt water and cold, but you need that as got very hot! Staff - all staff where fab, especially the entertainment guy - he worked so hard and tried to get people involved. The only bad members of staff we came across was the daytime receptionist who was extremely rude to us - we had mistakenly picked up the wrong suitcase from the coach and when we alerted him his response was "its not my job, i dont work for you!" The other stroppy one was the lady on the pool bar - dont think she smiled one!
The only criticism i have about this hotel was the food. Although edible, it was clear that anything served at lunchtime was then served at dinner. Food was not of a high quality, but then what do expect from 3 star. Alcoholic drinks - apart from the lager, the other drinks were no very alcoholic whatsoever - could not taste the gin!
Overall, a lovely holiday
Hotel Globales Samoa Calas de Mallorca
We are just back from a lovely all inclusive week at this amazing hotel. It is spotlessly clean, and the staff are so friendly. Big shout out to Pablo on reception, he is fantastic, funny, and has a brilliant memory. The food was great with plenty of choices at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, they also have vegetarian options. There is snack bar too, where you can get hotdogs, burgers pizzas, fruit salad, salad, and everyday between 4 and 5 they do the most delicious churros with chocolate sauce. This is a very family oriented hotel, we felt so relaxed and safe, our son (age 7), loved the pool and its 2 water slides.
Entertainment is ok, but it is aimed more toward the French, Spanish, Italian, and German guests, the Brits were basically left to it. That said, you make your own entertainment, making friends and having fun.
The beach is only a 5 minute walk away, and is stunning, also the local shops and bars are literally just across the road.
We are very much looking forward to going back next year.
Thank you Hotel Globales Samoa, it's been a pleasure.
Hotel Globales Meditterani, Cala Blanca
Cala Blanca, Menorca - Globales Meditterani Hotel.
Just back home from a great holiday! Although a large hotel with many guests, the service was amazing. It was meticulously clean and tidy. Staff work incredibly hard and were always lovely, helpful and professional.
There was a HUGE amount of food which was delicious. A few things not quite to taste, but with so much to chose from it wasn't a problem. Catering for so many people and the standard never wavered.
Being all inclusive meant 3 meals each day plus additional 'snacks' were available - pizza, salad, burgers, bread, cheese, beer, wine, soft drinks! There was only a couple of hours each day when some sort of food wasn't available.
Housekeeping was amazing, again the staff worked incredibly hard to keep our rooms clean and tidy with fresh towels.
Pool water was tested regularly and grounds well tended and tidy.
All in all, a pretty high standard throughout.
Was Ok at first
Enjoyed the first couple of days, felt unwell, when I got home went to drs, after tests they found I have a form of E.Coli
Hotel globales palma nova crap
Where do I start, beds hard, pillows harder, room only brushed and smelled of damp all the time, smell of human faeces in the entertainment area, (we gave that a miss) £12 per strip for bingo, there were 3 adults?? Very very expensive, government tax had to be paid out of your holiday spending money, had to pay for the use of their towels, had to pay a euro to use a plastic cup to which you got a token and had to bring the cup back for another drink staff all on the side of other nationalities shall we say, but frogs legs jump into the picture, staff very rude, no food or drink after a 3 hr delay at the airport and an hrs transfer after dropping other holidaymakers off, we had 2 autistic children with us and at Manchester airport they couldn't have been kinder but had no lanyards left so we were given a card to give to reception when we arrived, who didn't have a clue what it was, we asked for some water and maybe somewhere to buy or get. Something to eat, to be told we have nothing, ee had to leave the hotel to get water for the kids and ourselves in the hotel next door, this by the way was the same named hotel, but we had to pay one euro per bottle, there was 5 of us so we had 2 bottles each!!! All inclusive, no water in the room?? £5.500 this cost us for 10 days, absolute extortionate, we feel we didn't get any value for money at all.
Due to kids disabilities we had to have a space at the end beds by the pool so if they had any major .meltdowns we were able to manage this out of the public eye so to speak so we were up early 7am to reserve 4 sunbeds although there was 5 of us the kids could share, this was also the preferred space because they don't do well with crowds or strangers, only for one particular man who I can only say took an instant dislike to us and started to bully an autistic 8 year old off the lounger and proceed to throw the towel off it, thanks to a guy next to us standing up for us, I dread to think what would have happened, we didn't see thus but God help him if we did, when we were told, (we were only getting a drink at the outside bar by the way) we approached the man who pretended he couldn't speak English and started shouting at us, then had the cheek to report us to reception, we as did everyone explained what had happened around the pool and the complaints team then understood it was his fault, he went on again to do this (no child involved this time) again we didn't see him but he was told again he couldn't remove our property, again flailing his hand and shouting he walked away but making it his business to stare at us every chance he got!! Co.plaints team said he would be thrown out if anything else happened and police would be involved he left the Monday we left the Saturday. Until then we couldn't enjoy ourselves at all.
The food was quite nice I'd say although repetitive, but we ate out a good few times due to the cockroaches in the dining room, I've never seen this before and we are very widely travelled, we ate at a fabulous restaurant called Natalie's on the front most of the time and the food was amazing, in the words of my grandson 7 star rating,
Will never be returning to Globales Palma Nova again. This was also the general feeling of all the people we spoke to, oh and when we arrived, we paid for a pool view, we were given a pokey little corner room who's balcony was about 3ft in a triangle, changed to next door to family as requested as hel0 was needed with the children.
Stayed at Hotel PalmaNova
This hotel is lovely apart from the outdoor snack bar. The birds were on the food most days especially the pizzas as they were never covered. We ate inside every day which was fine as more choice and air conditioned.
The pool snack bar doesn't open till 10am so you can't even get a drink of water which is awful when temperature was high 20's even that early. Also the pool doesn't open till 10am again when it's that hot you want to cool down. We went in the shower by pool.
The bar/waiting staff are friendly and Peter the entertainment rep is just fabulous and so funny. I would've liked the entertainment to be a bit earlier as it didn't begin until 10pm.
A tip for people is you don't need your plastic glasses or tokens for the evening as glasses are allowed and you are able to have up to 3 drinks in one go. The cocktail selection is not as good as in other hotels I've stayed but there will be something on menu you like I'm sure. I paid €6 for a Pina Colada but it was awful so I wouldn't waste my money just stick to the free stuff. The Sangria was gorgeous.
Evening meal was again a good selection of food all fresh and hot.
On the plus side when you check out at 11am they allow you to keep your wristband on so if you have late flight you can still eat and drink.
Arrived at Condes Del Alcúdia Hotel…
Arrived at Condes Del Alcúdia Hotel with high hopes but were quickly disappointed as guest told us one of the 2 lifts was out of order for 10 days (still is after a further 5) We booked a deluxe room and all inclusive package but on entering room what a disappointment no fridge and no tea coffee facilities and no room for all our cloth to be put away. Went down to find out only bar is the pool bar outside which don’t supply us with bottled beer or bottled water as not in our package. Went to reception 5 times in our stay with complaints and contacted our tour operator who contacted hotel only to be told they had no complaints from anyone in the hotel. Only plus point was the beautiful view from our room. Food was average and repetitive. Definitely not worth what we paid and want be back
DO NOT STAY at Binimar Menorca!!!!
DO NOT STAY at Binimar Menorca.
It’s dirty, the food is cold or raw. The staff are rude on reception.
The apartments are old and dirty.
No one will help you!
Plenty of other much nicer apartments/hotels around.
My wife fell in reception
My wife fell in reception area of globals cala blanca and broke her shoulder.reception woman marina was helpful she told me she was badly injured and got a taxi to hospital.no accident report was filled out and management never came to see us. I was allowed to take a tray of food to my wife but had to queue in long dinner queue which was terrible.any way I went to see reception on our return journey and asked if we could get early breakfast as leaving at 7.40 and breakfast was open at 7.30 , they said yes 6.30 by the time I had washed my wife we got down to breakfast hall at 6.55 the said we couldn't have any thing as they shut at 7.oo.i was talking to people waiting for bus and they weren't in form you could go early so none of us had breakfast so thank you for your help i will never go back and tui you need to tell people what they can do not just sell.
Staying at Globales Condes de Alcudia
Staying at Globales Condes de Alcudia. Plus points, literally 2 minute walk to the stunning beach which wasn't very busy. Huge amount of restaurants and gift shops offering a huge amount of variety from clothes, towels, beach inflatables, to local spars.
Hotel staff are very pleasant and helpful.
Downside.
Room is extremely basic, lacks plug sockets, some rooms have more sockets then others which makes charging phones a hassle. No kettle in the room so you can't have a hot drink. You can hire one for the week for 20euros, then buy tea etc from the spa as the hotel dont let you take anything upstairs. No fridge, no complimentary bath products, not even a bar of soap in the bathroom to wash hands.
Shower is small with no door resulting in a flooded floor most evenings, although it's a lovey pressure and hot, it doesn't drain quickly. I had to pull the shower apart to drain the water on the first night. Soon learnt to have it on low and get as close to the wall as possible. No drawers to put clothes away, wardrobe space is limited. If you want to use the room safe you pay extra. I had a double bed with a single sheet on the mattress.
First couple nights the food was OK, then you realise that the restaurant is split into chicken (cooked anyway they can in oil and smothered in garlic) or pork! Never have I seen pork cooked in so many different ways, again oily. Ham and cheese is mostly processed, salad is plentiful, fruit is available. I dodged the eggs as they were undercooked most mornings and ended up eating mostly toast. By day 4 the smell of the restaurant put me off eating so I used the snack bar.
Food is available all day but it sits out for long periods of time and is mainly cold, keep an eye out for when they replenish then it's lovely and hot.
Area is nice, plenty to do, hotel let's it down. I will come back to the area as plenty to explore, but I will research the next hotel more throughly. Take beach towels! Hotel doesn't hire any out. We got caught out and brought some from the shop.
Globales Cala’n Blanes Review
*** READ BEFORE BOOKING*** 17/05/2024-24/05/2024
Overall i would recommend staying at this hotel, however i would’ve loved to put this hotel as 5 star, but there are a few things that would’ve been nicer or would’ve improved the quality of my stay.
When me and my boyfriend got to the hotel we were given room 112. We were so happy as this was the room we had seen online and booked! It had the lovely spacious bathroom, a working tv and a sea view balcony. A few minutes later we had another random couple walk in claiming it as their room. We were so confused as we were just told this was our room.
The lovely receptionist Flor was very helpful and reassigned our room as the other couple needed the spacious room, we were totally okay with it until, we walked in to our room, the bathroom was clearly cleaned but had a pungent smell of poo, the toilet seat wobbles as you sit on it as it’s not properly attached to the floor (ROOM 131) the safe wasn’t working and the sea view room we had booked was no longer there. We got a view of the car park. We phoned reception as we booked a sea view room and they told us that we could upgrade but for an extra €20 a night, it wasn’t worth it. However later when more people arrived, we over heard the same receptionist say to another couple, “due to it being the start of the season, we’re upgrading everyone’s rooms for free!”. I was baffled.
If you’re looking to stay here, do! I’m sure this experience was just a one off mistake that doesn’t happen to everyone.
The staff are brilliant: Johnatham the jefe of animación and Leo from the animación team. Marc, Angel, Africa, Alberto, Jon and everyone else from the catering team.
The all inclusivity is great, with there being hourly games like , darts, football, sjoulback, water polo, rifle shooting, archery, the list could go on, however when it came to drinks, you have to pay for alcoholic beverages but not juices and soft drinks, you have to pay for this ice creams, crisps , nuts ect. This i didn’t expect being in an all inclusive. While playing if of the games, i did have an injury where i ripped my whole nail off which they were all very helpful with and they checked up of me whenever they saw me to make sure i was okay.
There’s lots to do around Cala’n Blanes , shops, bars, an aqua park, restaurants. Definitely a lovely part of Menorca.
I would stay again!
@HotelesGlobales Thank you!
Globales Mimosa Palma Nova
Website unclear as to what was included as a facility. Safety deposit box - quoted a charge of 45€ for 6 nights. There are no towels available for the pool - neither of these facilities were mentioned. When I asked hotel duty manager about these issues she just shrugged and appeared not to be bothered .
On arrival we were told access from the back of the hotel (pool area )to the road to the beach was locked when the pool closed ( even for residents ) because of ‘the drunks’
We were actually very concerned at the dismissive, derogatory attitude to their customers . I believe tourism is the main income for the island so to assume everyone is ‘undesirable’ I found to be incredibly distasteful. I have travelled extensively and mainly stayed in 4* hotels and quite frankly would not come back to this one.
Globales Apartmentos in Palma Nova was…
Globales Apartmentos in Palma Nova was pretty good. Maybe a bit expensive. But overall a good place and amazing location.
Worst experience of my life GLOBALES MIMOSA
Worst experience of my life, due to travel home yesterday, we put our luggage in the luggage room (reception told us it’s secure and that they have to press a button to allow people in and out) at 4 pm we went back to collect our bags to go to the airport to find out they were missing…. With our passports inside! The hotel were useless and lacked compassion, refused to get the manager, refused to check the cctv and told us to head to the airport and the police would help us get our flight. So off we went £40 in a taxi to the airport and the police couldn’t help us, told us we have to go to the embassy, I phoned the hotel and they said they can’t have us back we are full, then said they could have us but it will cost £120 per night. So we headed back (another £40 in a taxi) when we arrived back at the hotel there was commotion in reception as in total 5 bags had been stolen from us and other guests. The police were called and we had to make statements. We had to apply online for emergency passports (£100 each) and book another flight in 48 hours. The hotel staff were rude, unhelpful, not supportive, and continued to take our money! I honestly hope this puts people off, we had young children at home waiting for their parents. To my surprise when I went to reception this morning once again the luggage door was open and the reception didn’t care, it’s like they want people to get robbed!!
Globales Costa Tropical Fuerteventura the hotel is an excellent inexpensive 3 star hotel, definitely good value for money. But don't go expecting a 5 stars hotel.
Globales Costa Tropical Fuerteventura
We have just come back on 13th March 2024 after 3 weeks stay, we had a great time, the staff were all truly wonderful, our room was basic but clean and serviced daily (we had room B12), the food, although a somewhat limited choice was plentiful and changed every day, it really suited us and was well presented and very tasty. The hotel is quiet and a little out the way, again just right for us as we just wanted to chill. Taxi's are very easy to sort through reception and the bus stop is close by.
The hotel for a 3 stars is excellent and for the price I can't recommend it enough.
If you are looking for a relaxing inexpensive break this is just the place.
The entertainment guy, is a real go getter who really works very hard but could do with a little assistance at times.
The pool unfortunately was a little too cold for us but at this the time of year is to be expected. There were plenty of loungers available.
The one down thing I can think of was the cost of the room safe hire at 36 Euro's a week was more expensive than most other hotels we have stayed in.
Not to be repeated
This hotel was quite poor it needed a lot of work doing food was disgusting very little choice at lunch and dinner breakfast was the best of the meals.
Most of the staff friendly just the few let it down.

Arrived Wednesday 28th August 2023 Tui coach and 1st drop off so transfer was 30 minutes
Tourism tax has to be paid on arrival and ours for 2 was €46.20 for 7 days! More expensive than I expected.
The safe is a ripoff at €30 plus €10 deposit for the key, you need one as your insurance usually won’t pay out if you have a claim.
We could not fault the food, plenty to choice from and restocked quickly.
Our room was smaller than I expected and so was the the balcony but they were always well cleaned.
It could be a great adults only hotel overlooking the bay as all rooms have a sea view but read on!
The bathroom had no toiletries only a soap dispenser near the wash basin and in the shower but they were useless, impossible to get soap out of them.
We were on the all inclusive package and for a TUI Platinum 4 star hotel the spirits were very poor quality, I expected better local brands than they served, the local white rum was drain cleaner quality and the rest were not much better.
No waiter bar service for the all inclusive only the for the half board and as the queue for the only night time bar open was horrendous it was definitely needed.
On the Saturday we had a bad storm which left the glass partitions around the pool and dining room area so filthy that sea view was blocked. On the Sunday one of the sun bathers was cleaning the outside where he was laid so he could see out. They were still in the same condition on the Tuesday before we left.
I don’t know how TUI can call it a Platinum and as far 4 star I would say at the best 3 star plus.
I think that the Balearic Islands have got to greedy and have had their day.
We have just got back from a Jet2 4* rated hotel in Turkey and it put this one to shame, friendly waiter service at all the bars and restaurants, free safe and refilled room mini bar toiletries in the bathroom and premium drinks.
The entertainm very…
The entertainment was very bad and very late as well. The life guard picked up a child and pretend to throw her down a slide. The food is not as good as they make it out to be. The stairs hurt if you go up and down all of the time. The room was good and the cleaners in everyday to clean and do your bed. The pool tasted like salt water my daughter said when she went on the kiddy slides and it went in her mouth when she went down a slide. Would recommend for someone who goes with groups.
