Awful Customer Service and Cheap Products

I brought 6 chairs for £900 just under a year ago and 2 of the chairs are already broken. The first one broke in mid January and they promised to send out new legs but I’m still waiting. The second one broke a week ago and when I what’s app’d them (as they ignored my email) I got a rude response saying I’d have to pay for new legs for the other chair. I sent videos showing both broken chairs which they ignored. I chased them and they then said I needed to email them as they wouldn’t reply on WhatsApp and basically accused me of lying about them being faulty. I was very polite and patient so emailed them but again am being ignored!

WARNING ⚠️ do not buy from this company

I ordered a bed from this company cost £1145 including delivery and assembly delivery drivers turned up and just dumped the bed in my hallway and left when I phoned the company I got nothing but abuse from the 1 lady that runs the fake company I demanded a refund and asked her to get her drivers to return and collect the bed as I would never ever want to deal with this company again she swiftly deposited £45 for the assembly that they refused to do after that she blocked me. I then had to pay someone to assemble the bed as it was for my 11yr old daughter on opening the bed we found numerous deep scrapes and scratches also a slit in the headboard also many visible staples were my daughter would lay her head also blue dye stains my older daughter then contacted them and she asked for pictures and video evidence we sent it all she then said we would receive a replacement so I agreed a month later a van driver turned up at my door saying I have your new bed something told me something wasn't right so I said I need to see the items for myself before you unload them I did and all they sent was 2 sides and a foot board I refused delivery of these items 3 times because the headboard was missing i tried calling but was ignored so I sent an email she replied back saying on the next attempt to deliver the whole bed would be there but yet again it was only the 3 items so I refused delivery 20 minutes later my door goes again its the driver that doesn't speak good English asked to look at the bed I showed him the damage even though she had all the proof of damage she then said your headboard will not be replaced because the rip isn't visible and the staples are not a danger to your child if you dont accept what I have sent you will get nothing I sent them back this company is s fraud the quality of the goods is terrible and customer service is pathetic I complained to trading standards on a few occasions I also contacted the courts but got knowhere this company are displaying bespoke furniture from reputable companies and making cheap replicas i contacted the real company and to buy the same bed the real cost was £3500 please do not buy from this arrogant woman. This happened to me mid 2022 I have all the proof still in my phone this woman calls every customer a liar and I am sick of seeing her rip people off hopefully she is stopped soon makes me angry still seeing the disrespect from this company I cant believe its still happening.

OMG… absolutely disgusting service &…

OMG… absolutely disgusting service & the bed I received was the poorest quality bed I’ve ever seen. It’s like they are selling fake beds, like they are making cheap rip offs of the real thing on there website… after 2 failed delivery attempts they promised me refund. That never happened tho, luckily my bank refunded me £3500 after I opened a dispute & sent them the photos & video of how bad the quality is. The first delivery attempt they sent the wrong footboard & bedside tables we’re missing, a week later they tried again, ( delivery men speak little or no English) again bedside tables missing, we got the bed in and I was shocked after unwrapping how bad the quality was, my bed had a gold trim on it, which I could literally pull away and see all the wet glue. Then there wasn’t even any brackets on the footboard to take the sides. So the bed couldn’t even be assembled if I wanted to keep it. Which I definitely didn’t want too. The quality of the stitching was soooo poor. . I could go on & on about this company. They are also very very rude once they have your money. Please please please stay away from these lot. I honestly can’t believe there still going , treating people & trying to sell there rubbish & getting away with it…. FRAUDSTERS BEWARE DO YOU'RE RESEARCH ON HOUSE OR BLING…..

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID DO NOT BUY FROM THESE

DO NOT BUY A SOFA FROM THESE PEOPLE.

I ordered a U shaped sofa at the cost of £2695 back in October 2022. (Also paid for assembly) I have a copy of the order)

They were given specific sizes the sofa needed to be made to, I have several messages from them confirming this.

Sofa arrived in December, one section was damaged and had to be sent back, chased them throughout December for an update on will I would received the section back, very slow to reply and offered very little info on when I would get it back and quite sarcastic and quite rude and aggressive to be honest, even on the phone (again I’ve got all the messages from them)

Sofa arrived back prior to Christmas, it was not assembled even though I paid for it to be, and guess what, it was made to the wrong size even though they confirmed the size I wanted In 2 separate messages, we asked for it to be rectified in January and they said they would, but we decided to live with it.

Anyway, over the last couple of months the sofa has started to squeak when you sit on it, indicating something is wrong with the frame. I have messaged on WhatsApp, rang them and also emailed them, I have had no reply at all

I was informed the sofa carried a 13 month manufacturing warranty so I’m within the time scale (again I have got this in a message from them.

The service and customer service is disgusting. Do not buy from this company read all the other reviews, all the negative ones say the same… not a good company to deal with.

I will be taking this up with trading standards

Like all their reply’s to negative reviews they say they cannot fine the order

DONT HESITATE - 5* RECOMMENDED

I saw a beautiful item on this site and then read reviews. I was so worried to buy because on trust pilot there had been fake reviews. I couldn't fins anything like this item anywhere else and so on the basis that there were good reviews amongst those fake reviews I went ahead and ordered. OH MY WORD I AM SO GLAD I DID!!! From the moment I ordered the communication was first class. They put me at ease with how professional and attentive they were with my questions. Not only did they help with choosing the colours that I couldn't clearly make out from the website they sent samples. Emails were answered within hours. I was kept upto date with delivery times. The delivery team collected when they said they would and delivered on time and assembled the item in the room of choice so professionally.
I appreciate this is quite a long review but I needed to try and let people who are dubious about buying from these people that you do not have to worry. I would definitely buy again and cannot recommend this company highly enough. If I can upload a photo of the item in my house I am happy to do so to put minds at rest that this is an amazing genuine company. Really really happy with our purchase. Thanks HOB!!

The question what went wrong would be…

The question what went wrong would be quicker saying what went right. I paid for delivery of a wardrobe and for it to be built. After several attempts to contact the house of bling by phone, WhatsApp and email still no response. The courier contacted me on Tuesday advised they would deliver Thursday but turned up on the Wednesday at 20.50 at night only to advise they have not been instructed to build even though it has been paid for. Still can't get a hold of the company stay well away from them it feels like a scam and if it is not their after sales care is poor and shoddy. As yet my issue still has not been resolved even though another email has been sent. Good customer service is based on contact and follow up which I am not getting from the House of Bl8ng Furniture

I have taken them to the small claims court and this is awaiting a date, any positive review is FAKE! Look at their Instagram followers, they are bots, all fake company, steer clear...

DONT ever order from these rogue…

DONT ever order from these rogue traders, I wish I had done my research on this company before placing an order. There is no customer service just psychotic passive aggressive and belittling of the customer.
Honestly learn from my mistake and AVOID at all costs.

5 star service

5 star service, absolutely love the sofa! It’s exactly what it looks like in the photos. Arrived during the 3-4 week time frame given, and the courier was really helpful and helped us put it together. I was cautious about buying a sofa online without seeing it first, but I’m so glad I did, as it’s so lovely!

HEED THE REVIEWS. ROLL THE DICE. TAKE YOUR CHANCES. PLAY RUSSIAN ROULETTE WITH YOUR ££££

We searched for months, looking for the perfect sofa for our new home. We thought we found the perfect solution. The buying experience wasn’t great. One correspondent was helpful, another was exceptionally rude. Undeterred, we went on to purchase, due to not many competitors for this product. We are left bitterly disappointed by our recent experience with House of Bling Interiors.

We ordered our sofa on 4th December 2022. Delivery was supposed to be within 2-4 weeks, as per their confirmation email. 6 weeks later we heard nothing and weren’t getting a response. We close to doing a chargeback and had to chase them.
Delivery and installation was done unexpectedly at 9pm, almost 3 months later. The installer scratched our wooden floor, but were nice guys so we let this go.
Due to the late hour of delivery, of course we didn’t do a thorough inspection and we never thought we would have to.
Only over the next few days did we start to notice the issues.

1) The colour of the sofa was not the same as on the sample they sent us. We ordered an “Almond colour” to match to the rest of our furniture, which is within the brown scheme but it came as pistachio green. Also, the base of the sofa is quite a noticeable shade different from all of the cushions, as they used different reels of fabric.
2) There are sewing gaps on the seams of about 5 cushions, leaving gaping holes approx. 2cm-1 inch, this also creates odd shapes and contours in the cushions.
3) The filling is of poor quality. Each time you sit on the sofa, the large back cushions deform, so you need to reshape it each time.
4) Also the filling is insufficient. Each time you sit on the sofa, the material wrinkles and you have to ‘wipe’ away the wrinkles after you get up.

Their customer service team was initially responsive and assured me that someone would come and assess the chair (that was several months ago).
Despite their assurances, it's been an excessive amount of time with no further communication, let alone any attempts to resolve the problem. I'm left in the lurch with a defective product, in the wrong colour and an unfulfilled promise of assistance.
I understand that unexpected events can sometimes delay processes, but the sheer lack of updates, communication from the company has been truly disappointing and unacceptable.
They don’t respond anymore either.
They have failed to live up to their commitments thus far. My experience has been far from the luxury and seamless customer service their brand purports to offer. It feels rather that I am dealing with a fraud company that is after a quick buck.

There were some actions that could be taken to remedy:

1) Do nothing and accept the defective product - After much searching around, we couldn't find a similar product and so we have given up contacting them and are taking no further action except for leaving this review.
2) Make a claim under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for unsatisfactory quality, not as described. I'm confident we would have won this one, but most likely they would have arranged a refund and collection as I see they've done with other customers, once they begin a claim.
3) This is a good one. If you buy the item on credit such as a loan or credit card, you can hold the credit company accountable for reimbursement and I've read of another customer who used this method to reclaim their money back and the item was promptly collected. This method is called either a chargeback or Section 75:

Overall, my experience with House of Bling Interiors has been disappointing and it's with regret that I cannot recommend their services. I would rather recommend staying away from them.

I have since looked into them and been disturbed by my findings. I would not have purchased had I known the below.

I wish I could give it a ZERO RATING.

The worst customer service Ive endured my whole life. I ordered a number of items and whilst some got delivered, I would soon be relocating thus I would neither require nor afford to transport the items that hadnt been delivered yet so I decided to cancel all the items that were still processing.

They used their terms and conditions to corner me into buying furniture I clearly stated I no longer wanted via a NON EXISTENT COUPON CODE instead of just issuing a refund bearing in mind these remaining items were not even in transit yet.

I emailed them regarding this, explained why I would no longer require these items
[ RELOCATION ] they refused and the only alternative they offered was to accept their non-existent coupon code even though I no longer required their items.

March 2023
I told them multiple times I did not want a credit note [ coupon code ] but they cornered me into accepting it bearing in mind for furniture I advised I NO LONGER REQUIRED due to RELOCATION.

I attempted to use the coupon code from “the credit note” they claimed they sent to an address I relocated from then also via my email when I advised them I didnt get it.
Every single time I entered the coupon code and on the website it says “it does not exist” I even took screenshots for proof and sent the very screenshots to their email
I know this is the correct email because I had used the same email for all my communication regarding other orders and they responded from that email.

I even forwarded the same emails and other ones SEVERAL TIMES after that and I never got a response. I called they ignored.

ITS BEEN MONTHS NOW with no response. I called today and the lady with a hostile and monotone tone said “im sure the emails team hasnt ignored you for months” “we cant deal with anything over the phone” “are you sure you’ve got the right email address”
I even asked her how long it would take for a response and she said 48-72hours and yet shes telling me [ that has been on the receiving end of 0 communication for months ] “im sure you havent been ignored”

I had been sending emails for months and have been ignored.

Prior to this

I had ordered a sofa and had an issue with the fact on delivery day, the drivers wanted to leave the heavy sofas in the rain, in the alleyway below my flat and I told them to take the sofas back. In what seemed to be an attempt to invalidate my enquiry regarding a refund for the remaining items, I got accused of assauting the drivers and of being intoxicated on drugs and alcohol [ which I dont even take drugs ] and in my agitation with the lack of professionalism from the drivers expecting me to allow them to leave my sofas outside in the rain,
I demanded that they take my sofas up OR they could take them back as I paid for assembly and I was in no way physically capable of getting them up myself.
In addition they also said due to that incident I would only be able to use their non-existent coupon code for items that wouldnt require assembly so not only am I being cornered to use use a coupon instead of getting a refund, my options would also be limited which is not reasonable considering I would never spend £2029 on bits and bobs that dont require assembly when I could just get a refund and purchase proper furniture elsewhere.
I have purchased from other companies in this timeframe, requested a refund for the same reasons and they had no issue refunding me.
I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM OR COMPLAINTS WITH DELIVERY DRIVERS MY WHOLE LIFE. I have never been intoxicated with drugs and alcohol.

They used my agitation in that incident as some sort of leverage and justification to stop responding to my emails as we kept going back and forth regarding that incident [ they said they would no longer respond to my emails ] much to my dismay as it seemed customer satisfaction didnt matter to them as long as they had the final word and didnt give me a refund and also im certain its because they knew they still owed me money from the undelivered items I had requested a refund for and they were clearly planning to ignore my communication regarding their NONEXISTENT credit note [ coupon code ] , using this incident to leverage not communicating with me even though its regarding a completely different enquiry, A REFUND.

They also told me the credit note would be valid for 6 months…Its been over 3 months now, code “does not exist” and they wont respond to ANY of my communication, no refund, no credit note, no resolution, no communication for nearly £2029 worth of product including fees for assembly for products I had to assemble myself.

Instead of issuing me my refund they cornered me into using A NON EXISTENT CREDIT NOTE that expires in 2 months from now and they are ignoring my communication. I dont even want to purchase their furniture. I just want my refund and I can go back to NEVER buying from this company again.

Thank you for taking your time to review us, unfortunately we would have to disagree with your review, we delivered every item you purchased with us on time and ahead of schedule,over 5 months ago enfact we had several failed deliveries and a lot of messing around with you cancelling deliveries at the last minute.

2 delivery companies we use, reported the deliveries and fed back to us, of physical and verbal abuse to delivery drivers, from the male in the home who was under the substance of alcohol and drugs.

You were due another delivery in which you were aware was ready and awaiting delivery, all these items were bespoke made to order items, you then said you were moving, and wanted us to store them in which we advised would incur a storage cost, you then advised you wanted to cancel them, unfortunately these items were made to your requirements and per our terms and conditions we do not offer a refund, we did however agree to send you a credit note to use, which is valid and has been the whole way through.

We have spoken with you many times on this and you have been abusive to every member of staff in our shop which is not necessary, they have attempted to help you.

If you wish to arrange collection of the outstanding furniture you are more than welcome, alternatively the discount code provided to you is still valid

Stunning bed, not great customer service

Purchased a custom super king size tv bed and received it about a month ago. The bed itself is stunning. Looks exactly how I wanted it to and it looks very luxurious.

However…

We paid extra for delivery and assembly as we knew we wouldn’t be able to do it ourselves due to injury.

The bed arrived and my husband had to assist with the entire delivery process, further injuring his back during the process.

The delivery driver assembled the bed and quickly rushed off. We then checked the bed and realised the footboard had arrived broken.We messaged the company immediately with photos and videos to get an exchange.

It took over 3 weeks to arrange an exchange. The date and time kept changing. With both of us working full time this made organising the whole process extremely stressful. However, I understand this was probably the delivery company’s issue.

House of Bling told me what needed to be included with the exchange. But not once did they tell me I had to disassemble it myself and take it to the ground floor. Which for a 5ft woman is pretty much impossible. Hence why I paid extra for delivery and assembly in the first place.

The delivery drivers dropped off the new footboard but they were unable to take the broken one due to it being too heavy and they told me they weren’t made aware that it was going to be heavy.

We have communicated everything very clearly from the beginning and it just feels a little frustrating as I just want to resolve everything and have a fully functioning tv bed!

When I complained about all of this on the day. The live chat clerk accused me of it not being broken on delivery and that it was us. Even though I literally sent photos and videos within 5 minutes of being delivered.

I actually don’t even know what to do anymore but I really just want it all resolved.
