I got the GtrsEvo

I got the GtrsEvo, and I love it. When gas hit 5$ a gallon, I bought this bike. I have a 20-mile round trip to work every day, and this bike is the best part of my day

Hovalpha power surging

I bought the Hovalpha about 2 years ago and only started riding it app a year now. Just recently I have been experiencing a problem with it wanting to surge power while peddling and the power remains on even after I stop peddling. I contacted customer service via email to inquire if they knew the fix for this and they replied “check the wiring and figure it out”. I would never buy from this company ever again. Buyer beware!

Prompt E-Cart Customer Service

I purchased an E-Cart around 3 months back. The bike was riding great but recently had a malfunction with the front brake . HOVSCO promptly sent me a replacement part within days and a video for install. The bike is back up and running and I appreciated the support line through email.

I am being forced to leave a review for…

I am being forced to leave a review for this company because they promised me a helmet and now they won’t send it without leaving a review. I personally haven’t ridden the bike because I was waiting for the helmet. However I did take it to a bike shop to have the derailer guard installed. The bike shop told me the brake line on the front is folded and I now have to spend another $150 to get that replaced- again- have not ridden this bike. In regard to the customer service people blatantly lying to me and wasting my time- as well as the product arriving damaged and costing more money to fix before being able to ride the bike- I’m not having a very good experience with this company- I wish I could post the screenshot of the company telling me they are no longer sending the helmet that was promised without me leaving a review here.

Pleasant Experience with HOVSCO HovBeta and Customer Service

Ordered two HovBeta Foldable e-Bikes, during the Memorial Day Sale (05/22). The sale included both e-bikes and a Summer Cycling Bonus Pack (Handlebar bag + Phone holder + Bike Lock Set) valued at $219. Price before taxes was $2,498.00. I received both e-bikes (delivered on 05/29 and 06/02) fairly quickly, but not the Summer Cycling Bonus Pack. Both e-bikes were slightly damaged (prior to packaging); mostly scratches and wear marks on the paint…all cosmetic, nothing that affects performance. I am 90% sure the damage happened before packaging because the e-bikes arrived packaged very well…and some of the damage was covered by Styrofoam.

Both e-bike batteries were about 80-85% charged and came to a full charge in about 35-minutes or so. I had no issues completing the assembly of either e-bike; the tools provided were adequate for assembly. The instructions were sparse, but functional, in guiding the assembly. I think a link to a video of full assembly would be more helpful, but again…they were functional.

Both e-bikes perform great! These things have some serious torque, especially if you are using the throttle. I generally keep mine in PAS 1 for taking off, then bump it up as I feel the need for more speed. We have a 10-degree hill, in our driveway, and the HovBeta has no issues getting up the hill. Regardless of whether I get a running start or just start at the base of the hill, I generally end up at 8mph at the top.

Before receiving both my e-bikes the price dropped to $2,098 (two e-bikes) for the Prime Day x Father’s Day Sale. They also offered a Summer Cycling Pack (Helmet + Phone Holder + Lock Set) valued at $259. If I would have waited another weekend, I would have saved $440 plus the taxes associated with the savings. I reached out to Customer Support to see if they would refund the difference, especially since I hadn’t received my complete order yet.

Customer Service agreed to partial refund and offered to throw in a couple accessories. While discussing our options, both bikes came in and were assembled. The Summer Cycling Pack still hadn’t arrived, or shipping information provided. We (Customer Service and I) talked back-and-forth and finally agreed on the partial refund and two bike locks as compensation for the price drop. We agreed the Summer Cycling Pack (that was part of our original purchase) didn’t really provide the value we first thought, because the handlebar bag would not fit our bikes, so we agreed to cancel the Summer Cycling Pack and get a front mounted basket in its place.

I received shipping notification that the bike locks are on their way, and Customer Service stated they will ship the front mounted basket, once a review is posted. I consider that a small price to pay, especially since they are working with me on making things right with the price change. I will update this review, to a 5-star rating, once the basket arrives.

I will say that my Customer Service experience has been pleasant. They have been very responsive and friendly. Just be aware, due to potential time-zone differences, you may not get a response until later in the evening. Nobody’s fault, the world is a big place 😊

Regardless, our overall experience with HOVSCO has been positive. The e-bikes have exceeded my expectations over the past week of use. I plan to update this review every 3-months, for a year, to provide updates on the performance and reliability. If something changes on the e-bike or Customer Service front, I will update this review to reflect that change.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service, no # to actually speak with a live rep. When asked for status of my “surprise” gift. They states because a promo code was used at checkout my wife would not be eligible for the “surprise” gift from Christmas 2025. Today just received survey package gift from survey taken few weeks after placing bike order.

…word for word Hovsco (but we could still apply for us (my wife) if we were willing to leave a review on their TrustPilot - we will see if any follow up and/or “surprise” gift is to follow and if so if it will be 2026 or more realistically 2027.

Don’t buy

Would love to see a video of the ceo putting this together. Had it almost all done then the pedals don’t fit. No cross thread, just bad quality control. Had to order more tools from amazon. Would not order bike again. They must have paid a lot for those google reviews. Buy the temu bike trust me.

Hovsco will not honor their warranty on…

Hovsco will not honor their warranty on the battery. The battery will not charge, new out of box. They will not replace, they said I will have to purchase a new one($500). I have provided them with all the paperwork they requested. After many emails and conversations they will not return calls. I am stuck with a bike with no working battery. Very Frustrated!!

Hovsco has been very responsive and helpful. My kickstand had an issue and they are sending a new one to me. It's nice purchasing a product that is backed up!

I recently bought a Hovsco e-bike and…

I recently bought a Hovsco e-bike and it has been a terrible experience. The bike feels cheaply built and I’ve already had multiple issues with it. When I contacted customer support, they told me to order a replacement part, but the part they recommended was completely wrong.

Their website doesn’t clearly identify parts either, it just lists confusing numbers with little information. After I received the wrong part and notified customer service, they told me I could return it, but the return shipping would cost almost as much as the part itself.

Overall, very disappointing quality and customer support. I would not recommend buying a Hovsco e-bike.

Awesome family bike!

I have been searching for an e-bike that is suitable for my children as I have a special needs child that needs to be pulled in her trailer. This bike has exceeded my expectations, couldn’t be happier with my choice.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Absolute trash. Bought a bike and it had clearly been used. Box was torn and packaging was used. The bike breaks were kinked as well. Support has been an absolute nightmare. They aren't willing to do anything for me. DO NOT BUY

Hovcart

I ordered a Hovcart for the wife, ordering was easy and delivery timely. Assembly was pretty stright forward and not difficult! Everything seem to be working as it should but haven't had it long enough to be able to give a full knowledgeable assessment. With that being said, the wife is happy with it so far so that's a plus! Only issue I've had so far is with the promised gift for doing their survey. Email back and forth several time with no resolution when I decided it probably isn't worth the time or effort.
