We apologise for any inconvenience caused to you in the past, especially since the beginning of May 2014 regarding your outstanding order. Unfortunately infurn.com has suffered financial difficulties due to the loss of several business partners from February 2014 onwards. Please be advised that the group of companies behind the web shop infurn.com have instructed UHY Hacker Young LLP (Turnaround and Recovery Specialists) to review the financial position of the group of companies. Due to UHY Hacker Young LLP´s review of the financial situation of the group and after discussions with them, it is apparent that the group of companies are insolvent and shall all be entering an insolvency process. Due to the impending Liquidation of Infurn Limited, the service company of the group which ran the business of customer support, you were not informed of this situation. Infurn Limited ceased trading on 2 May 2014 as they were dependent on funding from the trading company of the group, Livingdesign SL. We are in the process of instructing lawyers/insolvency experts in Spain with the assistance of UHY Hacker Young LLP to assist with the restructuring of Livingdesign SL. However, in the meantime, it has been decided that a new operator, DSGN Sales and Support Facilities Limited will take over the web shop (Infurn.com) from 2 May 2014. The purpose of this company is to try to honour all existing customer orders, however at this stage we are unable to confirm our ability to do so. This company shall not be taking over any of the liabilities of the Infurn.com group and cannot provide any guarantee on delivery times of orders. We understand the position we have put our customers in but we kindly ask you to provide us with time in order to ascertain the level of outstanding orders and whether they can be fulfilled. You shall be contacted soon with a further update.

I fear I'm another victim of a fraudulent cynical company

I don't write reviews. Sadly I didn't read the thousands of reviews on Trustpilot before placing an order with Infurn.com. If I had, I wouldn't have gone near them.

I bought from what appeared to be a legitimate company and parted with my cash. The ridiculous waiting times weren't made clear at point of sale, instead hidden deep in some Terms somewhere on the site I later found out.

Weeks went by so I thought I'd contact them only to find there's no way to speak to a person so I emailed them. Eventually I got an email back saying I had to wait months for delivery! Uh oh! Alarm bells!

Since then I've emailed many times only to get no response.
Eventually, months later and after several date changes, the date actually came... and went! Several emails and more weeks later I still don't have my item nor a commitment from Infurn.com to deliver by a set date or refund.

Just before I logged in to make a comment on Trustpilot I checked the Infurn.com account and found this,

"We would like to notify you that your order will unfortunately be delayed. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused to you regarding this matter. If you require any further information please contact our Customer Support team by booking a callback request.
We not only ask for your understanding in this matter, but also offer you a 10% credit to be added to your account to show our appreciation of your patience in this delay. You can activate the 10% credit by clicking on the link below, and use the credit on your next purchase."

Credit against next purchase? You must be joking! Let's deal with the one you've failed to deliver first shall we?! I placed that order on 05 Jan and it's now 16 May!!!

As much as I'd like to think this is just a woefully poor company with terrible management and customer service who should, frankly, fail I'm more inclined to think it's a simple cover for a complex criminal fraud and I like several others have been victims.

PLEASE TAKE ONE THING FROM THIS REVIEW... AVOID INFURN.COM AT ALL COSTS!

Update:
After some research I have since found out the people masterminding this elaborate trap have renamed the firm, "GI Ventures. Led by experienced entrepreneurs (Name), CTO (Name) and Company Secretary (Name)". These are the people who are responsible and should be ultimately on the hook to resolve the company's and fully paid up customers' problems.

(Name), sir. Feel free to call me personally. You have my details through the order ref code. I'm awaiting your call. Rgs, Steven

Empty promises of delivery

We ordered a table more than one year ago. They have changed the date of delivery numerous times. However, we have not got any email about it, but have found out on the website after logging in to check the status.
They guaranteed delivery, but we are still waiting, and nothing seems to happen
Avoid this company, they are totally unserious and are not giving you any kind of service. It is like throwing your money out of the window

INFURN in Violation

I ordered 2 small items on 4th December, but soon had a an extended delivery time, they were being made to order, given a date some time in March, this then got moved back to late April and then May 8th, now nothing, and crucially takes the purchase just outside a 120 day protection period with the bank. Very clever delaying tactics with logins, support e-mails, all of which now appear to be a scam. No responses from recent e-mails and any phone numbers no longer working.

Scam!

I am still waiting to receive two lamps, which was a birthday gift from my husband to me a year ago (ordred 2.4.2013).
Waiting a year for an order is by no standards ok.

We have talked to customer service several times, but nothing happens, except they saying that they will call us back. Which never happens.

I know their reputation both from newspaper articles, and from trust pilot. I am still flabbergast by the poor customer service they provide and lack of ability to deliver what we have paid for one year ago.

Abhorent business - looking forward to taking legal action.

I ordered chairs in November. Communication at first reassuring me that my furniture would be delivered within 18 weeks. In March I started asking for updates as to the situation of the furniture; standard reply consisted of "we are unable to contact the logistics department". This went on a while. When I asked for a refund, there was no contact from any of the staff. I am now pressing action through my credit card company and a small claims court. Encourage others to do the same.

No delivery, no refund - avoid at all costs!

Ordered a lamp in November. Cancelled it in February as it was showing delivery in June. Was told refund would take up to 30 days - now it's mid-May and I have no refund. There's no phone number for Infurn, they're not replying to my emails.

INFURN IS A SCAM SITE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I still want my money back (£454.93) after 6 months of asking for it!

I don't image I will receive any response to this feedback as Infurn stopped replying to my emails requesting my money back in February 2014.
I cancelled my order for the Jonas table on the 12 November 2013 when the website reported a 2 month delay and I needed a table for Christmas. At first they took my phone calls, but this service has since ceased to exsist, leaving email as the only point of contact.
The email replies I did receive said that they don't know when I will receive a refund despite being advised on the 12/11/13 that a refund would be provided within 30 days.
My Advice to any potential customers - STEER CLEAR OF INFURN, OR DESIGNFURN as they are also known!

I just wanted to get in touch with you with an update. The warehouse has informed me that you will receive the item in 8 weeks time. We are having a problem with our current logistics but are working on the matter. I can see that the estimated delivery time for your item states the week beginning 24.03.2014. I am very sorry for this and as an apology will add another 10% bonus on your user account today.

How does this company continue to operate?

My experience of this company is identical to many others who have been scammed by this company who clearly have formula for taking people's hard- earned money.
Does this sound familiar?
1. Advertise goods.
2. Get people to part with their cash.
3. Tell people goods won't be delivered for 18 weeks.
4. Make people wait.
5. Extend waiting period.
6. Eventually tell people they can cancel their order.
7. Promise refund
8. Promise refund
9 Make another excuse.
10. Never give refund - effectively 'stealing' from honest customers.

My experience with this company has ruined any trust I had with shopping online. I had no chairs for my Christmas dinner - thanks for that Infurn! Like many others, having to resort to internet review sites is the only way others will not make the same mistake as I did and deal with dishonest companies such as this one.

FRAUD

If I could give a zero star review, I would. Infurn is a scam. AVOID AVOID AVOID! I ordered a coffee table in October 2013 and when I found out it was going to take over 6 months for it to be delivered, I cancelled my order. I'm still waiting or my refund and whenever I ask about it, I'm told that they will talk to the finance department and sort out the refund ASAP.

Does anyone have any advice about how to escalate this?

Thanks,

Marianne

Total fraud / very rude conduct

Hi All,
As you can see, I have posted a review a couple of days ago.

I could not reply personally to "Luiza Pietrowska", but I agree with what she said. We Will have more power if we do something collectively ( we are so many!!!!!)
We might not have our money back but if we could make this website shut down, and the thieves punished, that would be a great achievement.
This business is just illegal and cannot go with it for ever.

@ Luiza
Did you find any european international authority?I am happy to subscribe/file a claim.

Sonya.
==============================
I Have ordered 3 Acapulco chairs that were listed as "in stock" when we paid.
One week and a half later, we were surprised of not receiving the chairs (that we really need as we have guests coming in a week) we decided to contact them.
How big was our disappointment when we read that we will only be receiving them around end of August!!!!!

We decided to cancel our order within the 2 weeks after payment but no need to say that we received NO ANSWER after writing to customer (lack) of service!
I regret so deeply I did not come across this website before.

This company knows what it does and has strictly no excuse. Bank accounts are in Spain (I used a german website but my husband informed me later on that the account was in SPAIN), while there is a post mail in GB and phone numbers are not correct.

The reason why I did go for all this is that I relied on a GERMAN website, thinking that was the real provider. They know most of clients trust Germans honesty and irreproachable service.

I read below that there are delays as they do have to pay theirs suppliers. Fair enough, but there are other online shops that only debit accounts once products are sent out, instead of starting with collecting money. As well, customers should not be paying for their mistakes. It is their responsibility to update their stocks, so that the client can decide whether he buys or not.

I do understand as well why they do not propose PAYPAL (otherwise we won't be going through all this).

How is it possible this company still continues existing despite all the european laws???!!!

Unless I hear very soon from them I will have to file a legal claim, but will be happy to contact internet fraud police to increase the statistics if someone would kindly send me the link.
That's the first time I write a bad comment about a company, but I am doing it for others to learn from my mistake.

Best.

A bum deal - the case of the non existent Acapulco chair

My Acapulco chair I order in December still hasn't arrived. I recently made contact with Infurn to say that I'd now like to cancel the order as it's been about 22 weeks since I placed the order - almost half a year, and no chair is worth a wait that long for. However, since emailing I have had no response and have since googled about Infurn and it looks like I'm not alone in my disappointing 'service'. If you're desperate for something to sit on DO NOT order it from Infurn - you're sure to get a bum deal ;) I'm now in contact with the internet fraud police to try to get to the bottom of getting my money back and stopping this level of 'service' from continuing.
Wish me luck!

Delayed order twice and now haven't refunded over £700 within agreed 30 days of cancelation

I should have listened to the other reviews here - please don't make the same mistake I did.

I placed an order back in November 2013 with delivery date set at march.

First warning sign - I was issued no receipt or invoice on purchase until i emailed to ask for one.

In early 2014 I checked my Infurn account only to find they had changed my order date to April without telling me.

They assured that after a problem with suppliers they were now on track and all would be delivered on April.

Come March I checked again only to find they now had moved the delivery date to May without notifying me.

I had then had enough and cancelled my order on 1st April (I have email evidence to prove it) - they confirmed that refund would be within 30 days.

We are now 8 days after the 30 day refund period and Infurn have not contacted me or refunded my money.

I have emailed several times to ask for my money back, which they have ignored.

I feel a like I have been robbed. I hope they will refund me soon.

UPDATE: AS THE PURCHASE WAS MADE WITH AMERICAN EXPRESS I CALLED ON THEM TO FORCE A REFUND. I RECOMMEND ANYONE WHO IS STILL WAITING FOR A REFUND TO SPEAK TO THEIR CARD ISSUER FOR ASSISTANCE IN RECLAIMING THEIR MONEY.

Do not buy from these fraudsters!!!

They need to be stopped. They are stealing people's money and not delivering goods as promised. They push back delivery more and more then promise a refund which never materialises.
With all the complaints and people who have been ripped off I cannot believe they are still allowed to practice their criminal activity online using their slick designer website.
There are now groups of people banding together to legally launch claims on this 'company' to recover their stolen money, so watch out Infurn you bunch of thieves, better get ready to pay back!
Spread the word - do not deal with this company or you will really really regret it!!!
(By the way, this has been given one star only because I had to click on a rating. Trust me this company deserves minus minus minus stars!)

FRAUD!

We bought a chair since octuber 2013, still waiting for it. The excuse is shipping problems. I asked for my money back and they gave me 10% discount in my next buy.
It's pretty obvious that this chair will never be delivered ( suppose to arrive tomorrow) and in my status clearly says that is still there.

IF YOU LIVE IN EUROPE THERE'S WAYS TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK.
*** WE CAN NOT LET THIS KEEP HAPPENING! ***
So please make it social public, post it, tweet it or whatever. This is a easy way to steal our money and other people money. Completely unfair.
