Ridiculous pick-up points
We travelled from Norwich to Southampton on 2nd June and returned on 9th June from a Fjord cruise on Britannia. No complaints about the booking service or the coaches but the journeys were awful. We understood that pick-ups were from service areas so we accepted that our pick- up would be from Thickthorn service area, a £22 taxi trip from our home. However, it seems that in other places the company was quite happy to go into towns. We collected passengers from Newmarket, Cambridge, Rickmansworth, Letchworth …….each stop was in the town centre which meant leaving motorways and negotiating appalling traffic. The last pick-up was Heathrow , Marriott Hotel. Both journeys took the same time, 7hrs 45 mins. My advice…….think very carefully before you book this service. At least be prepared for a very unnecessarily long journey.
We travelled 3 June to join Iona
We travelled 3 June to join Iona, returning 10 June. On return journey, the hottest day of the year, we were baking on a coach with no Aircon, no functional toilet. Sat in blazing sun for two and a half hours waiting for "no shows" that apparently Intercruises couldn't contact?? We were promised a stop for water but that didn't happen until 2pm, we were on the coach at 8.45 am. On the HOTTEST DAY OF THE YEAR WITH NO AIRCON.
This company is atrocious, they use coaches that are unfit for long journeys. Customer comfort is bottom of the list. In fact the way we were treated is inhumane.
No way do I ever want to endure this shambles if a company ever again.
Try to email them to complain, no chance! They make themselves very elusive. No emails and they don't answer the phones. Avoid at all costs.
The heater on the coach could not be…
The heater on the coach could not be turned off on the hottest day of the year. 10th June,heater grill was that hot that you could not place your hand on it.
The return journey was not much better. Secand drop off at 12.25 pm we were given 15 minutes, return to the coach at 12.40. The coach infact did not leave untill 1.15 pm. The drop off at Trowell, the driver gave no instructions to the remaining passengers regarding how long we had there. When he didn't get back on the coach we got off to find out what was happening, change of driver which we were not aware. The original driver was appeared to be grumbling to his colleague about his conditions of work. This should not impact on passengers comfort.
A booking was made for 4 people but one…
A booking was made for 4 people but one of the party had to cancel. Was told that an 80% refund would be paid into the account within 14 days. That was on the 24th March. No refund was received. Since then have tried contacting them several times both via Email and phone. Have found it impossible to get through and they have not replied to Emails.
Been trying to contact cruise connect…
Been trying to contact cruise connect but after numerous emails and telephone calls can still not resolved my issue. I made a mistake on the online booking form and cannot cancel or rebook. All you get on the telephone is jazz music and then get cut off, shocking customer care service.
Uncontactable and frustrating
Uncontactable, we have spent hours on the phone just waiting, will never book with them again. This shambles of a company provides a disgracefully poor service.
Horrendous coach journey
Horrendous coach journey. No air conditioning on extremely hot day. Weather warnings given advising danger to health. Passenger health and safety put in danger. Long journey and needed to transfer coaches. Not much better on second coach! Never again Intercruises!!!! P&O need to know how badly you treat their customers. Passengers told (on the day … 10th June) that they couldn’t talk to a supervisor or anyone in charge because there was no one there! Really!!!! Incidentally, our young coach driver did everything he could and needs a medal! Alan Shepherd
No aircon on hottest day of the year
We came back from Southampton after having a lovely cruise with P&O and I'm afraid the journey back overshadowed the entire week.
It was the hottest day of the year, with a weather warning of danger to life. But the coach that came to collect us came with broken Aircon. We were subjected to a horrendous journey back in unbearable heat inside the coach.
The best bit of this story, people on the coach think it was the same coach they were on a week before and the Aircon was broken then.
Never again, we will be paying extra for taxis from now on.

Cant fault the telephone booking service, a short wait on the line understandable this time of the year but the team were very efficient and confirmation received shortly after my call. Looking forward to my cruise in August now all transfers arranged. Happy days
The company cancelled our coach trip…
The company cancelled our coach trip with no notice and a short period prior to when they were to take us to Southampton. They offered no alternative. I tried to ring them but they never picked the phone up.
Shalln't consider using them again.
I have been trying to speak to someone…
I have been trying to speak to someone to make a booking. 8 calls on Friday and 9 calls today. Each call on hold for between 15 mins and 35 mins and still no answer.
Their website states different opening hours to the greeting on phone and also they are open Saturday mornings but the greeting says closed!
I don't hold out much hope for a company who cannot even give correct info on the website.
These seem very dodgy to be honest, gonna give them a wide birth and get the 🚆 train.
Great service
After a few attempts to get thru on the phone, the answered my last call within a couple of minutes and the booking was dealt with very efficiently.
Just got my final pick-up times and location email and voucher, 17 days before cruise date.

Front seats should be held for disabled…
Front seats should be held for disabled and the elderly. All the 6 front seats were taken by a family who are all able bodied and some were younger than 30. I can barley walk and another passenger couldn't walk hardly at all without support and they all just sat and ignored us. The driver said to me to take the front seats and did nothing about it. I'm so upset and disappointed.
Grumpy rude driver
Used this company for our trip on Arvia leaving on 16/04/23 - trip down leaving from Carlisle was excellent - great friendly driver & very helpful. Unfortunately the return trip on bus no 9 on the 30/04/23 was horrendous and all due to the grumpy rude driver!! Firstly he didn’t do a head count which resulted in an hour & half delay with all passengers already being on the bus - he then preceded to advise us that he wasn’t having any hot food or pasties or crisps on the coach when we stopped at services, that we could use the toilet on the bus but only for “no 1’s - not for no2’s !!” and that males should sit down to use !! Also we should take all rubbish off when at services (on the way down the driver had considerately put out bin bags). All in all he was condescending, rude and grumpy - think he should consider changing to a job that is non client facing!!!
Oh dear….not for us
Very disappointed when using Intercruises for the first time on 30th April 2023 to travel down to Southampton for a P & O cruise on Arvia. We had travelled with Eavesway previously and expected a similar experience. How disappointed were we?
We had been scheduled to leave Trowell services at 9.45am. Alway a good part of our trip we looked forward to the journey. After a shambolic pick up, involving the driver, Matthew, ‘losing’ it with several travellers, us included, passengers with mobility issues being loaded like cases, cases/luggage having to rattle about the back seat due to there being no room in the hold area, we set off. After 10 minutes we were told we were going straight to Southampton. We all assumed this meant with at least one stop. Oh no this meant 178 miles none stop no refreshment/toilet stop. I am sure driving hours breaks were breached. On arrival in Southampton we dropped off a small number of Princess cruisers and then drove around the docks looking and asking for the P & O terminal…unprofessional in the very least. The journey home on 14th wasn’t much better but I will leave that.
Quite simply, either drive or pay for Eavesway.

I’ve just received my telephone bill and although I pay a block fee for all uk calls, I have been charged £20 for the call they eventually deemed to answer as it is an 0345 number. Disgusting, never again

Return journey our coach was Austin travel Glasgow young lady driver Isla was also excellent only let down had to wait nearly an hour for 2 clowns from Glasgow before coach could leave Southampton staff were phoning and had to go looking for them return journey was 14 th May
Inter cruise
We used this new coach services from Bradford to Southampton. Dreadful. Hard seats, toilet door won’t shut, no water in the toilet to wash your hands. No WiFi. Old horrid coaches. Not sure why P&O got away with Eavesway coaches. Cunard use them and they are comfortable and passengers who use Eavesway are very happy. Wake up P&O don’t pinch pennies , let passengers spend their hard earnings to travel comfortably.
