She reapplied as DAV and A man called Mathew triage manager refused to house demanding 5 yr compkete history despite this is not req for DAV. The man looks lpimply not spotty due to.drug abuse and is a racist. Council when reported did nothing and Cllrs lied and Solace unfortunately.dnt assist White British women clearly and as racist

They entrap you with their parking laws.
I had to visit a property to carry out work and ALTHOUGH the tenant paid for parking through Ringo..£13.00 an hour, (which I reimbursed him for) I still got a penalty on my vehicle - £65.00 if paid within 14 days.
A total loss of £78.00
They make laws that is confusing to drivers so that a penalty can be issued and they gain.

This council is untrustworthy and this is their actual reply
"We expect drivers to be vigilant upon parking by ensuring that they carefully check and read the sign and park in accordance with the restriction in place".

They confuse drivers on were to park and during match days, it is even worse. They use the Arsenal games as revenue.

They are a council of dipping into vehicle owners pockets because they do have no other revenues to fund them. SAD-DICK KHAN has been causing mayhem with the LTN's and cctv to gain profits. But yet causing more pollution when vehicles are sitting in his bottlenecking of traffic.

The council should be laser focussed on the unglamorous work of maintaining public areas, handling waste and fulfilling their duty to vulnerable members of society. In all other areas they should get out of the way so businesses and residents can thrive and pay their bills.

Liars. Crooks. Pander to ASB offenders rather than reprimand them. Harassment, discrimination, bullying housing department staff. Greedy & unsympathetic & no clue or choose to be ignorant to the plight of their tenants needs and disabilities. And they do not want to deal and do not deal with hate crime. Our late uncle fought an extended battle against cancer, involving long stays in hospital. Knowing this, Islington council charged our late uncle circa £500 for invalid property insurance during his last year, which is essentially fraud because the dwelling was unoccupied. After his passing away, Islington council billed our family a second year premium despite knowing the property was empty. We are £1000 out of pocket for scam insurance.

Traumatised for eternity, fleeing abuse and needing a flat they put me in an unfit property and said i'd be making myself intentionally homeless if I didn't take it.
The windows dont close properly they're off the hinges upvc is so broken and falling apart the holes are visible in the casements its letting in so much draft from outside and waves of outdoor insects that bite and in large amounts. They left me with no hot water, and a completely unfit and unusable bathroom and kitchen with damp everywhere from unresolved leaks. The central heating needs to be replaced also but they refuse to update the system so it doesn't work, they have me paying full price for bills over the course of over a decade without the issues at home being resolved and therefore cannot use the bills im paying for. Complained to everyone you can think of, did everything I could, all thats left is to begin collaborating with other victims for a joint lawsuit against this injustice and violation of our most basic human rights.

Joke of a council. You call up about a serious issue and they couldn't care less. All you get is attitude from an obnoxious council worker who doesn't bother following up on your concern. Meanwhile, all their energy and residents' tax money is furiously being pumped into needless road and pathway resurfacing which drags on for months and months, day and night. Constant noise and disruption which makes it impossible to have a peaceful night's sleep or day in your own home. Once one lot of roadworks ends from morning to evening, another set starts up from 9pm - 5am. Why they deem this to be a priority is a complete mystery given the state of the pavements and other pressing issues in the borough, like anti-social behaviour, flytipping and shockingly poor standard of local amenities.

How can you put my friend in a house with so much disrepair and tell her the hole that’s currently leaking water can be filled by her with filler? It’s literally damp! It’s disgusting you’ve even allowed her to move in here with all these issues. She can’t even move in with her 3 kids because of the state of the house which is affecting her mental health! She also has a SEN child you should be ashamed of yourselves!

Today I had the repair team. Come in to do my damp and mould. George and his team was absolutely amazing. Very friendly, very clean and very far at their work. I am very happy with the outcome. They were very polite. George also gave me advice about damp and mould when it does come back in the winter of what to do. Which will be so helpful for me in the future. The work which has been done has Help me not be anxious and with my anxiety As now I can sleep well I am so thankful and so grateful.

Unlike many, I've had good exp's with Islington's Admin - yet i totally recognise what people are saying! Their system gives slackers WAY too much leeway to 'lunch out'

Don't blame Socialism, this is ANTI-Social-ism, jobsworth behaviour you can hide behind ANY mask of language! That they do it behind a veil of "diversity" and "inclusion" is TRULY tragic, I've met REAL people in Islington who BELIEVE in those things.. When I had some disrespectful Dustmen, I got a prompt courteous letter straight from their boss!

I'm here for something even WORSE than LBI (no, really!) Their Criminal Housing Co 'Partners For Improvement' ('PFI', get it?) When the LibDems held sway, they were selling off EVERYTHING, disabled people on Street Corners - "they sold our Day Centre", with a LibDem Spin Doctor on Council Payroll sending us glossy newsletters about how great it all was!

Well, during the reign of these upright fiscal geniuses, they found something ELSE they could sell off - Council Tenants! Luckily 'Homes For islington' went bust (only costing us a FEW million), but those in Council HOUSES, Tenant & leaseholder alike, still have to battle the 'Partners' Quango

I had an electronics workshop - and a serious harassment problem - this person was a one-woman Crime Wave, but rather than spend time doing their jobs, taking testimony, gathering Evidence, well, they didn't like a Workshop in my flat (and treat us like war Criminals if we ever store anything in Communal rooms), and So much easier to ignore the harassment, call me a 'hoarder' then lie, lie and LIE to get me out, thanks to C.L. the 'Tenancy Officer From Hell' (some of you may know this person?)

I kinda queered my pitch when i caught them fiddling the Complaints System, and got a letter in the local paper re "is this Legal?" Though they didn't print my name, I was identifiable by the nature of the harassment (Desecrating my cats little grave, the day after her send-off)

So, Soon as a payment slipped, they committed an Illegal Eviction - 2 breaches of law, 3 breaches of company guideline, with false names on the legal Documents, to avoid liability* - I've caught them at this twice, but Islington ignores its statutory regulatory duty, stating that, due to the redacted clauses in the contract, to pull out would cost untold millions - so they choose to IGNORE the endless tide of illegality and malpractice this cash-cow creates (an alleged 'non-profit', giving out 50k+ salaries with 2 fancy office buildings)

Time after time, scandal after scandal in the local papers - the sane rational ethical thing would be for Islington to TAKE Our Testimony, get new Solicitors and PROSECUTE for Malfeasance, Fraud, Breach of Contract - if the political will is there, there are NUMEROUS grounds for prosecution

There is a LONG way to travel toward truth and integrity, you'd have to SACK the people sipping from the Public Purse, not only NOT doing their jobs, but conspiring in the Slacker jobsworth culture, and RUINING LIVES

Following my recent Freedom of Information enquiry Islington Council confirmed it raked in £14,794,633.76 from penalty charge notices under its 'Low Traffic Neighbourhoods' scheme in the period from 17 August 2023 to 30 September 2023 - a period of merely 44 days! Yet some of its potholed roads resemble those of 3rd World countries.

On Saturday June 17 I had the misfortune to drive into a massive pothole in a car park in Islington. The estimate for the damage was £700 in June and as it had a 30 day validity is probably now much bigger. As there was no visible signage, with my iPhone I collected as much photographic information as I could in order to have a sensible conversation with Islington Council on the following Monday. On Monday 19th after explaining the issue they just seemed to just adopt my claim and just requested lots of information, most of which I had to hand. Initially I was pleased that I had an active case and case number and it seemed that not only had I been correct that it was an Islington Council issue but that they were owning it. What a fool I was. Over the next 14 weeks all they did was give my case a jolly good stiff ignoring, until I called in to ask, on numerous occasions, what progress had been made. In reality they were just "Kicking the can further down the road" to Customer Service another agent. I became so brassed off I threatened to contact the CEO, which I eventually did. This resulted in some progress, but not what I expected. According to someone in Islington's insurance department the car park did not belong to them but to either Clarion or Southern Housing. Something that was something that Islington Council Customer Service could have told me on day one as they apparently have direct access to the UK Land Registry service. So once I'd identified the real owner, I transferred my focus to Southern Housing.

Based on my experience I cannot rate my experience with Islington Council Customer Service low enough although I have to say that the people I spoke to always sounded very cheerful.

Now if you are still awake search to the finale with Southern Housing.

I got a PCN for going into a Yellow Box junction that was ambiguous so I contested it. I did the old school way of writing in and sending it off using Registered Post. They did get the appeal, then a few weeks later I got a second demand for £190.00 as according to them they never received it. Well they did. Also the evidence I had in paper from through the post did not match up with what was on-line.
Also add to that they tampered the evidence as they have left other number plates from other cars clearly in view.
Had a massive row with someone called Fallome in Parking Hell Services who had no interest other than trying to force me to go through the whole thing again despite them losing everything. I forced her to stay on-line and ensured they lost it all, not me.
If I had not dug my heels in at the first instance and demanded to speak to a manager, I would not of have known they had lost it. Reluctantly they finally admitted they lost the appeal papers.
Have you had a similar experience

The repairs team were supposed to fix a large 4ft+ hole in my bathroom ceiling and the leaks coming through on the 13 of last month and everytime I have reported this since they have refused to talk about it and are not willing to set another date for the repairs to be done! This has been going on for 5 years or more since i first reported it. The hole has got bigger and I have repeatedly heard the person behind the hole making more noise and stopping when I bang on the wall. I wonder if i was white and not have my mental problems would you behave like this?!
The water coming down is brown and it is staining the wall. I don't know if the reason the water is brown because of the debris and wall structure it passes through or because it is raw sewage. 5 years is enough. I complain and ask please do the right thing and repair the leak from above in my bathroom and then the hole itself but am ignored. I am constantly feeling anxious and depressed because how powerless I feel and the ease and willingness Islington have to ignore me. I will contact advice services and hopefully someone reads this and helps me force you to repair this.

I rang up to report illegal building activity and noise disturbance from a nearby business, and the person I spoke to from the council (let's call her "Karen") took immediate umbrage because I didn't know my postcode at the top of my head (as I hadn't been living there a long time and get all my correspondence electronically). She brusquely responded with "you don't know your own post code?". I told her that I hadn't been living there long, hence why I couldn't tell her immediately, but could give her my address. Karen refused (despite having a computer directly in front of her) and said I needed to tell her the postcode myself. I then spent several minutes faffing around, trying to find the postcode online. I gave her the postcode, then she demanded to know my full personal details, which I found grossly intrusive. She was basically trying to see if I was living in my property illegally without saying it explicitly (for the record, no, I'm not). I asked her why this was necessary as the council website states residents have the right to report complaints anonymously. She wasn't having any of it and said she wouldn't log my complaint unless I gave her my personal details. I said I was surprised by the fact I was trying to do something helpful by reporting illegal activity, but she still refused and said I had to divulge my full personal details otherwise she would not record my complaint.

I must say I find this whole experience extremely odd and unprofessional as sin. I've previously reported complaints about anti-social behaviour to two other councils - also by phone - when I lived in different boroughs, and both were extremely helpful and never interrogated my personal details like this. No doubt this Karen is going to make it her mission to try and catch me out, rather than investigating the actual illegal activity I attempted reporting, but sadly for her I'm living here completely legitimately!!

Unbelievable council disgusting behaviour from them no parking metres available and despite paying for parking still charging me with a pcn preying on the people no better than Sadiq khan
