Myself and my partner have just purchased our first home. Ison Harrison Solicitors were the one team we felt we could rely on throughout the process. We found Leah Jeyes in particular to be amazing. She solved any issues we had straight away and was quick with all paperwork and responses. Thank goodness we had Leah throughout an otherwise rocky new build purchase!

Reluctantly appointed these after recieving an incentive from Miller Homes after being told they would be reduced costs as they’re familiar with the development etc. constantly fobbed off throughout the whole process being told they were busy working on other cases, didn’t answer any of my queries yet i got the answers myself immediately when asking the developer direct - no idea why they made it out to be complicated. They then overcharged me fees of around £300 compared to the engagement letter they sent and eventually refunded it after chasing a dozen times and fobbing me off. Constantly making errors on all documents leaving info on from other clients on ours, forgot to send me our sale contract to sign for exchange! Then made out like it was my fault, forgot to include our fittings and contents sale monies off the completion statement and took over a month to transfer it. Constantly saying they’d get back to me over the phone and never did. Not sure what i was paying them for as they clearly weren’t working for me. Genuinely think i’d do a better job myself.
