Took money after a subscription was cancelled

I cancelled the subscription and they still took the money.
I'm trying to get the money back but they aren't responding.
Very poor service. for a licensing company they have managed to breach contract and data privacy laws.
Use at your own risk.

Valuable Music Service

Within less than one week of my music being hosted on Jamendo's platform I received at least 21 plays and at least 1 download on each of my 9 singles, with the highest number of plays being 47. As a very new artist I find this to be extremely encouraging and helpful. It is safe to say that Jamendo actively promotes the music of its users. Additionally, one gets to listen and download music for free from Jamendo. Jamendo SA is highly recommended.

Jamendo has no legal copyrights.

I’ve bought monthly subscription that gives you rights to online use only: allows all online uses on all online platforms including YouTube. I created my videos with that content an published them on YouTube.
Then I’ve got the copyright claim from the copyright owner and even Certificate from Jamendo had no any power for them.
Then I’ve emailed to copyright owner and he said that “the songs by XXX were stolen and illegally submitted to Jamendo under fake artist and track names.”
I’ve sent a lot of letters, requests to Jamendo and they didn’t give me any response for 2 month on that problem. ANY!
So, I think anyone can’t be sure that content they are using from Jamendo is legal and your requests will be ignored by Jamendo. Your created videos can be deleted from sites you are publish them, because you don’t have ani rights to use them.

My trial for using Jamendo in my small…

My trial for using Jamendo in my small shop is coming to an end and I might carry on with a 12 month sub. It's much cheaper than the licenses required here in the UK by hundreds of pounds. I have found another website for a similar price.

I use the app to stream the music from my Chromebook and my biggest gripe is that it seems that the music never changes.

I would really like to see a 'random' option so that all the songs are mixed rather than in the same order.

How often are new tracks added because I don't think anything has changed during my free trial?

My fist time using a paid service for…

My fist time using a paid service for licensing. Trying to do a cafe type video with music bed behind animation. Used 20 songs and only 1 cleared. I was told to dispute it with Youtube... then told to make the video pubic so they can look at it and Try to remove the copyright claim. For the price they charge... it's an outrage. Do Not use this service. I unsubscribed within two days.

I've lost my emails adress ( when my old site was deleted ) and I've forgotten my password and login.
The technical service manage it in one day. I've sent them a scan of my ID card, and new email and account back very quickly.

I paid a membership on Jamendo on 13…

I paid a membership on Jamendo on 13 March 2022 for making music videos on YouTube. I had three copyright claims on Youtube and I e-mailed Jamendo twice but there was no respond. I even called the phone numbers on the website and the number on the licence that Jamendo presented to me but that number couldn't be connected somehow.
Because I was getting ID claims on some of the songs from Jamendo and I disputed against the claim but they were rejected. I wanted to appeal against their rejection but YouTube said that if the claimant rejects my dispute again, I would have a strike on my account so I decided to delete the videos because the songs had ID content on them.
I had some songs that never had any ID claims but I'm not sure about whether I will not get any other ID claims in the future even though Jamendo provided a licence for them. A licence from Jamendo means nothing unless they will step up and ask Youtube to remove the ID claims. I personally believe the owner of Jamendo music made the web site automated so you will be on your own about any problems you have. I hope they will not make a comment here saying like "Sorry because you are having problems please email us about your matters" If they do because they don't want a bad reference about the website. You may use Jamendo but you will be dealing with any problems you face, on your own or you need to delete your videos if you get an ID claim about the songs. That's why I canceled membership. This is an honest advice of me. Good Luck.
Just an update about Jamendo;
They requested my details and I sent my details by the link "Trustpilot sent me" and here Jamendo stated someone would contact me and I just received an e-mail from the saying they closed my case meaning they even didn't bother to ask about my problems. They just pretend helping their customers but believe me they do nothing. So you are still on your own with Jamendo.

Occasionally problems arise, but the staff solves them quickly

Being an artist on Jamendo, I requested payment of my earnings, which was due by the 10th of the following month. But something unforeseen happened and the payout didn't go through. I reported the problem to support, and the team was able to resolve it in a timely manner, so I received the money before the end of the month, which is exactly what I requested.

I think that one of the most important indicators of the reliability of a company is not the presence or absence of problems—no one is immune to them—but the way the company deals with problems. And this time Jamendo has shown very good results.

Jamendo, a very convenient website for streaming/downloading free music

Jamendo is a website to share (free) music made by creators with listeners searching for music of a determined genre.

A strong point of Jamendo is its abundant classification in charts by genre, country of origin and "best" or "newest" in the website. It also offers songs stats to creators. AFAIK there is not any other similar service with this array of conveniences.

There are authors offering quality music of any type. There are also some surprising authors with interesting and "indie" kind of songs. In short, an interesting site to explore for listeners.
