Visited the Covent Garden restaurant
Visited the Covent Garden restaurant - had a great meal.
Went to Covent Garden restaurant
Went to Covent Garden restaurant. Had calabrian Chicken. Described as fiery chicken breast etc!!!! All it was, was tiniest mount of sauce splodged on plate with a PLAIN fried chicken breast put on top - nothing fiery or flavorsome about it at all, a few bits of rocket and definitely no Parmesan. We complained that not as described but did they care, no, restaurant was so busy, staff run ragged, they had no time to care about complaints.Staff just want you to eat, pay and leave as quick as possible. Worst meal ever, all you are paying for is the name.
My daughter treaded me to a meal here…
My daughter treated me to a meal here for a special birthday. The food was great and staff were pleasant.
Jamie's Italian Manchester
Been to the restaurant in Manchester twice, Jamie's Italian. Second time was amazing! Waters and waitresses are a bit cold and false and my steak was very chewy (never like complaining just don't want to upset anyone) but apart from that everything else was amazing, 3 stars is about right for this place! What is important to me is genuine customer service with great food! Business like this will survive anything! What gets me is why owners don't check service with secret customers? Anyway enjoyed our time there, tipped the waiter because he was very efficient and fast, food was fast! Will definitely go back because of the food! and the drink, forgot to add our cocktail Jamie's gin was amazing! its at a great price as well x
Excellent
We were at the restaurant at Victoria street. Amazing food and service. Very reasonable prices. We are definately coming back
Accurate recipes please
My basic complaint is that in common with other chefs, his recipes do not state actual weight of an ingredient. EG How big is a Bunch of herbs,( I grow them in my garden). Chop an onion. Large small, medium are meaningless to us non chefs, Please state weight of chopped onion to use.
What we need are precise weight of ingredients. In one recipe he says a Handful. Every persons hand size varies. Weight of Porcina etc would be much more meaningful. Also in measuring out spaghetti. Please give us weights not vague terms.!

Big name poorly made products
Big name poorly made products. My wife who listens to Jamie Oliver marketing bought one of his grabs,,,after 4 months its bust. I suggest people buy products that do the job as opposed to buying based on someone’s name.
Avoid food poisoning and go elsewhere
I can’t believe Jamie Oliver has put his name to this restaurant in Gatwick North Terminal. We ate here last year and we all got food poisoning, we thought it couldn’t be the restaurant because of Jamie Oliver’s good name, so blamed some other food we had all eaten. But yesterday, stupidly, in we went for a cooked breakfast and again we get food poisoning and are frequenting the toilet more than we would have liked!! For this to happen twice within a year, they must have issues with cleanliness in the kitchens. I think an unannounced food standards office should go in to check all is acceptable. Jamie why don’t you go down, sort out the restaurant or take your name from the restaurant, as I won’t be coming to your house for tea!
Excellent Food
Excellent Food, Service and Value for Money
We visited Jamie Olivers restaurant in Brighton and I can honestly say its one of the nicest places I have eaten in for a while. The staff were genuinely friendly, helpful and a breath of fresh air compared to some eateries in Town.
The portions were very good and I can recommend the squid starter, which I followed with a panchetta carbonara.
We will definitely go back and I can recommend this place without reservation.
Never again Jamie Oliver
Went to Jamie Oliver's restaurant in Gatwick North on 22.6.18 at 5.45am for breakfast before flying to Italy, what a disgrace, Jamie Oliver should be ashamed for the slop which was dished up, cold congealed mush, I would not let my small granddaughter eat any of it, here we have Jamie Oliver telling the world how to eat healthy, teach school dinner cooks how to cook and take rubbish food out of schools, but it's OK to serve slop in his restaurants (and get paid), never again will I go to one of his restaurant, he is all talk and no do as I can see by the ratings

Visited Jamie Oliver's in Brighton and the staff seemed like they had been forced to work there. They seem to have been more interested in chatting to each other than serving customers. Food was sloppy too!
We went to Jamie Oliver in Victoria
We went to Jamie Oliver in Victoria. Chicken was blah, the pasta was luke warm, tasteless and not value for money at all. Nobody asked me do I want parmesan. One table got their starters at the same time as their main.
Poor, slow service. We had cocktails, which were dire. All ice, no drink. Absolutely shocking. For a Chef who tells us to cook fresh etc, I could teach him a thing or two. The sauce for the pasta was not a fresh sauce for sure.
Overall, not good and we will never be going back there!
If I could do no stars I would
Misleading offers, poor service, tasteless food.
Went to Jamie’s at Bluwater Kent because of offers that I had received as part of my gold card membership.
We were told we could not have both offers, even though they were on the same email promotion and it did not state we could have only one of the two. My husband wanted the glass of wine and I wanted the pudding - no we couldn’t mix and match the offers - very unaccomadating! Particularly as I have recently had surgery and cannot have alcohol which I explained to our waitress - she didn’t care, and couldn’t explain the reasoning.
When the food arrived it was poor quality and tasteless. The waitress asked how we liked it, we told her it wasn’t very nice. She again didn’t seem bothered or surprised. She did apologise but didn’t try to alleviate the problem or do anything to compensate.
We will not be returning. I’m not surprised these restaurants are closing down if this is the level of service and lack of quality.

Jamie Oliver’s in St Albans- very poor service, waiting over 20 minutes for someon to ask for our drink order ( the restaurant was not busy at all).
Then after waiting that long it then took them a further 15-20 minutes to take our food order and our waiter didn’t know what was on the menu and couldn’t tell us what sides they offer, etc. The food finally came and the starters were okay but very very greasy, leaving a horrible taste in all of our mouths. The main then came half an hour later and my steak was burnt so I asked for a fresh one as I couldn’t even eat through how tough the meat was. My whole family has eaten their food and ordered desert and I still hadn’t received my steak that I wanted rear. I asked the waitress for assistance and she was rude and blunt and extremely snappy towards me. Will not be going back that’s for sure
Very disappointed
Very disappointed - Jamie's italian Covent Garden.
We waited over 30 minutes to get our reserved table. The only information we got from the staff was "10 more minutes". This is unacceptable. The whole point of our reservation was to avoid the wait - why else bother to reserve in advance?!
The food was alright but the bad start of the evening was hard to forget.
I don't think I will come back here again and I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone!
This restaurant was in Oxford and the …
This restaurant was in Oxford and the food was nice and tasty but the service was awful. The wait to be served and then the long wait between courses and trying to get the bill at the end!! Over 1/2 hour to get a bill to leave come on!!
Only one server for 8 tables is definitely not enough. Would I go again?
Absolutely not. Drove me insane all the long waiting.
Great service at Jamie’s in Liverpool
Last night we went out for a quick meal before a concert at Jamie’s Italian in Liverpool, a busy Satuarday night where so many other places in town were full. We asked the waitress if we could possibly be served quickly as we were running late for the concert, and after ordering two tagliatelle bolognaise, funky chips, two rocket salads and fish in a bag (which was delicious) we received our food and had eaten within 40 minutes of sitting down. The restaurant was heaving and yet the atmosphere was fantastic and although the waiters/waitresses looked rushed off their feet, we received pleasant, friendly service all evening from everyone we spoke to. Overall, we always have a pleasant experience at Jamie’s- especially at the liverpool branch.

Omg Westfield Shepherds Bush ive been there
twice now and the first time the food was terrible..the second chance the food was disgusting ..ughhhh..the worst ever..sad for Jamie cause if he was the chief im sure it would of been Pucker
I love this restaurant
I love this restaurant! Pasta bolognese is amazing 😉
We will not return.
Our experience at Jamie’s Italian in York turned out to be vastly overpriced for what turned out to mediocre quality small portions. We will not be back.
