What's happened to the Pantry restaurant?
First time in Norwich for many months and first thing to do is go to Jarrolds for breakfast and coffee.No breakfast only bacon rolls, no coffee top up,
no atmosphere 10 customers and now 2 less.This should be the time to make up for lost business. Very sad.
Very poor experience!!!
I ordered a size 8.5 in a pair of trainers, when the trainers came they were size 5! I contacted the company by phone who admitted that they never had size 8.5 in stock!!
My niece is a size 5 and agreed to take the trainers to save me the trouble of returning them. I emailed the company explaining this and suggested that the least they could do was refund my postage cost as they’d sent me the wrong item!! They did not even bother responding to my email!!
First and last time!! Never again!!!
Update: Emailed the company again with photos- no response. Rude and apathetic - Avoid!!!!!

Very poor service, items are advertised as in stock, purchased and paid for only to have the order then cancelled. They have had my money for 4 days now and I am still waiting for a refund.
Not worth the hassle, purchase from elsewhere.

Ordered an item and received an email the next day cancelling it as they don't have it in stock. Seems it's a regular occurence from other reviews. Not impressed

Cancelled order after two days
I ordered a dress online for a present. The order went through and I was awaiting my parcel, then two days later they emailed saying that my item was out of stock. I've seen that this has happened to other people. Please sort it out!
Excellent customer service
I'm somewhat surprised by some of the reviews here as my experience was excellent. We ordered a couple of Denby bowls which arrived very quickly and well wrapped. After delivery I noticed that I'd ordered the wrong style for one of the bowls - emailed customer services, got a very quick reply saying to simply send the bowl back and they would send out the correct one at no extra charge. Posted the bowl back on the Friday, and I just received the replacement today - Tues - two working days later.
Very happy with what we have bought and with the customer service here, and wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

I discovered this site when searching for some makeup. I was a bit skeptical to order based on the reviews here. However, my item was dispatched the next day and arrived promptly.
I had to return the makeup as a newer version was sent and I ordered the older product. However, this was an understandable mix up and the customer service team responded very quickly to my return request. The refund was processed promptly on return.
Overall, I would recommend this site and would order again.

After reading a considerable amount of reviews on here, I have to admit I was very dubious about ordering from them. However with a very competitive product price and a saving of £50, compared with competitors I thought it was worth it.
What an excellent service, I received a confirmation email once I'd placed the order, an email when it was despatched and the product arrived promptly.
A great shopping experience and I'm pleased I decided to order.

Dreadful, sell items they don't have and let you know in dribs and drabs. The worst company to deal with, disgrace to online shopping. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Terrible experience
Terrible experience: ordered a pen over a week ago and heard nothing. Had to email and eventually telephone to be told it was out of stock and I had been advised of this. I had heard nothing!!! Terrible customer service. Avoid!!
Failed All Round
We ordered a red, digital slow cooker and got a confirmation which showed a picture of the correct model. However, what turned up was a bronze, non digital, much cheaper model. We emailed customer services but 10 days later have heard nothing and the item ordered is no longer on their website. This is a company I will not be dealing with again.
Just ridiculous
Made an order on the November 30th and paid 3.65 for standard shipping (3-5 business days). Well it's December 17th and the order has not yet arrived. When you can actually get in touch with them (which would be a so called miracle), CS just says they have no control over it, no tracking number to provide and that I should just wait for it. Completely useless and absolutely no regard for the customer and for the fact that relied on their shipping times indications to order before I left the country.
I've just asked to cancel it - let's see if I will get an answer.

Ordered 2 pudding basins late Sunday evening and they arrived on Tuesday - perfect thank you. They were really well packed as well.

Ordered the Charlotte tillbury icon pallette for my daughter started to worry after a few days as hadn't received despatch confirmation, contacted jarrolds through email I had a lovely lady called lianne message me back straight away to confirm parcel had been despatched it has arrived today well packaged and intact.
Cancelled order too late
Placed an order for a birthday gift. A week later they emailed to cancel, leaving me with no gift and one day to find a replacement. Poor customer service. They should not sell stock they don’t have.
Nightmare on line
Ordered 3 items on line, email arrived the next day to say one item was not in stock, I tried to substitute an alternative but there is no response from them by phone or e-mail, then another e-mail to say a second item was not in stock. I only used them because of some stupid sentimentality about department stores. I see there's a tick box below, Trustpilot will e-mail my review to Jarrold - Good luck with that!

Well done. I ordered a present, and it came within 48 hours. It's the quickest service I've known for a long time. Especially during covid. A very grateful customer from Derby. (online shopping)
Shocking service would not recommend!
Ordered 3 items online,email the next day to say 2 of them out of stock the remaining item had been dispatched. Waited over 2 weeks phoned up and they said it was dispatched ages ago and I should wait 10 working days. Sent a further email after the 10 days asking where my item was for them to say it had just been dispatched. Checked my account and they did not even have it in stock! Absolute liars had the cheek to take my money to so having to wait for a refund! Would not shop here again a total waste of time.

I love shopping at jarrolds in person and thought I would support them during lockdown by purchasing on line. I could have got the same from other competitors. Never again! hopeless process.Ordered on Wednesday November 11th got an e mail 3 days later to say order was picked. I e mailed them on 18th as no further communication. Response was that order was with the post office but PO was very busy. The order which was fragile and two items worth about £100 arrived on 19/12 in a thin cardboard box with no proper packing and tape with fragile around it. It was already partially opened- fortunately bottle of whisky not smashed but box battered. This is a Christmas present Jarrolds please if you are going to offer on line postal service get up to speed with your competitors or don’t bother! As a loyal customer I am so disappointed with you.
