Online Shopping

Used their online service to order 2 of the same item in 2 different sizes and return the item which did not fit, service was prompt and first class. Customer service responded to me virtually instantly and were extremely helpful when I needed to change delivery address. Fantastic online shopping experience.

I bought a Tan Eloise Fitflop mule…

I bought a Tan Eloise Fitflop mule costing £120. The order was late being despatched, so I sent an email and phoned them. I was told the shoes had been despatched but as it was a Saturday, parcelforce dont collect on Saturdays, therefore they wont be collected until Monday.
So really they haven't been despatched at all then!
They arrived today (Wednesday) in a ridiculously thin cardboard box, wrapped in tatty tissue paper. No shoe box came with them!
Very disappointed actually. I dont class this as the cheapest shoe either.
Ive ordered shoes costing far less and they've been packaged better.
Also Jarrold attached a horrible scratchy tag to the leather which has caused a scratch to the leather. Don't know why as the shoes are a Fitflop branch and not Jarrold.
Very bizarre. Wont be using again as im not impressed with the service.

I have never heard of Jarrold before…

I have never heard of Jarrold before ordering,only because i was looking for something specific and believed i had found just what i was looking for.i ordered a round planter pot perfect for my garden,i got sent a tall planter pot which is more of a vase than something for the garden.contacted them straight away and just got a standard email about them having to close their doors Mon 23rd of March.my email to them was the end of May.very disappointed it was their mistake they did not rectify.i would not order again

Happy customer

Was looking for a specific pair of running trainers and searched high and low on the web. Most of the big retailers had them for £130 including delivery. Two other places had them slightly cheaper but were out of stock. Jarrold (who I'd never heard of as I live on the other side of the country) were charging £80, so I managed to nab the last pair in my size. Delivery was free and prompt. A superb experience all round and I would definitely use them again.

Instore experience much better

I love the in store experience of Jarrold - it’s a really gorgeous building and the staff are amazing. Easy 5*. It’s right in the centre of Norwich too. The online experience though is not so great, hard to find things and frustrating check out process, so I’d always opt to go to the store in person.

Looking for decent Speedo goggles

When searching for Speedo googles I could inspect at Jarrolds Intersport, Norwich I was told that they did not have performance or competition goggles.
When I pointed out to a rather over confident attendant that Norwich had at least three swimming clubs and that they would not be happy with 'leisure goggles' (which tend to fall off when starting from the blocks) the response from the smug, hirsute attendant was that this was their range and they quite happy with it!
Not quite informed customer service and not at all inquisitive about how, with a customer's experience, they might improve their output.
The jammers that I bought, again Speedos turned out to be flabby and not at all supportive, unlike other jammers I had bought from Speedo.
Jarrolds are missing a trick. Apart from their arrogant staffs' attitude, Speedo are an often copied brand and it is important to be able to inspect their products first hand; online acquisition is thus unreliable for their products.

I placed a order for a jacket

I placed a order for a jacket. I got a email later on the same day saying item is unavailable.
Really not happy as it was my first purchase and the jacket was a birthday present.
They have took the money too and now they say I have to wait 5 working days to get it back.
So I’m in a lose lose situation here - I never get the item and now I have to wait days for my money. I have no more money to buy a birthday present now. Thanks Jarrold for ruining my brother in laws birthday and thanks for making me look like a stupid fool and a tramp.

So overpriced for a OPI file & polish

I’ve just had an OPI Gel file and polish at Jarrold. I have to say it was expensive, very uncomfortable and not a pleasurable experience.
The pedicure chair was already in use so I had to have my nails done propped up on a bed, which was really uncomfortable, I got cramp and I was relieved when the process was over.
I was expecting a proper pedicure but I was informed that wasn’t possible with ‘gels’’, so I wasn’t expecting £28 for a file and polish, which took 35 minutes.
The beautician was clearly having a bad day and moaned about the management, then told me she would be taking a photo of her work and didn’t tell me why or what she was going to do with the photo. I’m presuming it’s going to be posted somewhere but I didn’t give her my permission.
Sorry Jarrold, I love what you have done to the store but I won’t be going back I will go to a local salon where I can have a proper, relaxing pedicure with ‘gels’.
