Jeakins stepped in at short notice when our chosen removals firm became booked up for the date we wanted to move. I was really impressed - very hard working and professional and really nice guys. Long day for them as we were moving from Essex to Berkshire but they were really cheerful and helpful throughout.

Jeakins are a great removal company. The price was very competitive and the estimator very reassuring.
Our move was from Chelmsford to Bristol on a wet misty day.....the two removal guys turned up at the specified time and within a few hours all our worldly good were safely packed into the lorry....They had decided that as they had finished loading earlier than they had antissipated that they would deliver the same day....and they did...luckily our daughter was there to greet them...they had unloaded everything into the required places and were off by 8.30 pm....we arrived a little later because of the weather and having to drop off the keys....everything was in perfect condition with no breakages.
The Office staff are very good with reassuring words whenever it's needed,,,,Vickey in particular always on the end of the phone to cheer us up whenever and wherever we may be...Thanks Vickey and all that made our move completely effortless...
Would I recommend Jeakins...Yes...and YES AGAIN.

Jeakins Removals moved our family from 2 houses into one - very professional & they stored a lot of our belongings for 5 months at a reasonable price. A nice bunch of lads make everything run smoothly on the moving dates . Would definitely recommend.

Quite simply, Jeakins were absolutely outstanding from start to finish despite my extremely late notice to move. A fantastic family business with a personal touch.
I had a quote from a multi national and it was more expensive and no interest in my pre move questions.

Everyone i spoke to was interested and could not do enough to make sure our move was straightforward.
Moving is stressful, but they were superb. On time and dealt with all our possessions as if they were their own. Office staff were also excellent and no surprise hidden charges.
Absolutely 5 Stars from us.

Jeakins have just moved us from Wickford to Norfolk. They were the most reasonably priced, packing boxes were sturdy and the guys that moved us were brilliant. I was slightly concerned that all of our belongings wouldn’t fit in the lorry but the guys got everything in and very securely. We’ve had no damages and the guys were extremely efficient, professional and friendly. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again.

We hired Jeakins because of the price quoted and because of the professionalism of Michelle Jeakins when she came to quote us.
On the day the team of Scot, Ben and Drew were professional and went above and beyond to make the move a smooth as possible.

I used Jeakins to help me move into my new home, I cannot recommend them enough, I was quite nervous to move to be honest but when talking to Michelle to arrange it all, my nerves were eased. She was very patient and kind as I had loads of questions! The Price was the most reasonable out of all the removal company's I had spoken to. On the day of the move William and kyle arrived they loaded the van as well as helped me pack quite a few items as I had run out of boxes and time! I must say they were both really lovely and a lot of good humor was had! They really took good care of my possessions ( no breakages) and they completely understood that I have massive back and mobility problems, so I couldn't carry stuff down the stairs. When we got to the new place they again worked really hard to get the stuff out and into my new home, they kept their humor very well even though it was quite hot and muggy. If I ever move again I will definitely use Jeakins again. Thank you guys :)

Couldn't fault Jeakins - from our very first phone call until they drove off having moved us from Wickford to Hereford. The guys who moved us, Mick and Jordan, were amazing - nothing was too much trouble for them. We had exceptional service throughout and would highly recommend them.

Quotation, packing was fairly good. However it all went down from there. Quote just kept going up with lots of hidden extras aka garment boxes £200 worth. Holding me to ransom for accidentally not paying yet another hidden extra and wouldn’t deliver my last bits, (they sat up the road until I paid) was totally unaware this was due. Lots of damages, missing items, other people’s stuff too. Insurance is not worth the paper it’s written on either. But hay ho we made it through it.

One of the best companies I've had the pleasure of dealing with. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
They loaded all of my furniture in Essex in just a few hours then the next day transported it to Cornwall where the two operators unloaded it, putting it exactly where I wanted in super quick time.
I've never seen two people work so hard.

We recently moved from Essex to Berkshire, and the Service from both the Office and Removals Team was First Class. We had a few unexpected delays in the Chain, but these were handled in a very professional and supporting manner.

Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish! From the initial home visit to assess and price the size of our move through to the final collection of used boxes, the service has been outstanding.

Very impressed with Jeakins. The lads came on time, no slackers and straight to the job in question. Worked furiously without a break. Good humoured, professional and teamwork par excellence. Not a single item broken due to their excellent packing skills. Price was very competitive too and no need to pay in full upfront like another company I could mention but I won't. Would highly recommend Jeakins.

Cannot praise this company enough. From the first call, the competitive quote and on the day itself. The guys on the day were great and even with hours of waiting around due to a stressful completion which at one point looked like it wouldn’t happen, they were cheerful and patient and made the whole thing a lot easier.

Has anyone else noticed items missing or the loss of full boxes of possessions when using this company ??
