The team off Paul, Kyle, Albert and William did a fantastic job with our move. They were helpful and friendly ensuring that our belongings were moved into the correct rooms to make unpacking much easier. Can't of been easy either due to the hot weather on the day!

We moved on the hottest day ever recorded in the UK. Paul, Harry, Stephen and Dave P. arrived on time and ready to work; and they certainly did work! Despite the unprecedented heat they began loading everything carefully and efficiently, not once complaining about the heat, nor anything for that matter. Nothing was too much trouble. They were friendly and upbeat throughout, a pleasure to have around. When we arrived at the new house they were positive and extremely hard-working, taking care to unload everything into the right rooms, and asking where each piece of furniture was going, making sure each piece was where we wanted it before moving to the next.

People have since asked how the move went, and my reply has been the same throughout. “The guys from Jeakins did an amazing job! I can’t praise them enough….highly recommended!”

Lewis, Gavin and Ben made our move much easier with their hard work and cheerfulness. As our move was over two days and two lorries there were more men just can’t remember them all. Would recommend this company as from, booking with Vicky in the office and removals days mostly all went smooth. I would suggest you ask for your mattresses to be protected and double check as mine were wrapped in a blanket but did get dirty and tiny splinters in one corner.

We used Jeakins Removals after a recommendation and they were excellent. Michelle was lovely and extremely helpful after we messed up with dates. She did everything to help us at short notice. The men arrived on removal day and did a great job, there was a lot of waiting around to complete and they were so patient and polite. Nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend them.

Jeakins Removal we used them for pre packing our goods the day before we moved ,on moving day the lorry arrived and three of the nicest men started my move nothing was to much trouble so polite and very friendly, unloading was the same no problems. Highly recommended .

Two lorries and four very polite, helpful, hardworking men arrived at 8.30. Danny, Dave, Paul and Ben worked so hard and had emptied our very full house by 11.30. Funds exchanged and all furniture and boxes were put in our new home and the boys were on their way by 3.00! A great service from Michelle in the office and all the team, would definitely recommend Jeakins removals and ‘when’ we have finished emptying all the boxes they will come and collect them. Keep up the good work.

We was recommended two removals firms and called both. Dealt with Michelle at the beginning and found her to be very professional which lead us to choose Jeakins over the other company.

On moving day the team that come were fantastic. They took care of all our belongings and ensured the carpets were protected for the new owner. They went the extra mile by helping with the last few odds & ends that we could only pack on the last day. They even ensured we didn’t miss anything such as phots on the wall. Albert even moved my heavy fish tank to my car since it couldn’t not go on the van.

When we got to the house and noticed we incorrectly labelled some of the boxes, it was no trouble for the team. First class service and would highly recommend.

Moved from Chelmsford to Colchester end of March 2022. Can't fault the guys that moved us at all. Arrived bang on time, they got straight to work moving a lot of boxes and a heavy awkward sized sofa out of our first floor flat. Would recommend to anyone moving in Essex.

I rang up earlier today and out of all the removal companies I have phoned, Jeakins were far the most helpful. I believe I spoke to William, he told me all about the moving process from start to finish and made me feel that moving home can be a time which is made street free and easy. My house is currently up for sale but I wanted a quote so when the time comes we are all ready. Jeakins is top class and full of experience.

Prompt arrival of removals guys. 9am start and completely emptied 4 bedroom terraced house taking into account the awkward bend at the end of the hall. The guys completed it and were all ready by unexpected receipt of funds on the sale at 1145. No issues on placing furniture and boxes through my smaller house. Thanks!
It is good to know Jeakins will take away used, undamaged flatpack boxes once we've emptied the boxes.

Danny, Jordan and Harry arrived at 8.30am as agreed and by 9am had the ground floor of my house loaded. Nothing fazed them and by 11am they had emptied my house even bringing items from the garage down the garden and through the house as access to the rear on the day was denied. They waited patiently at my new property where the outgoing residents were very disorganised and worked around the removers working on behalf of the outgoing residents. My new house has a very steep drive which meant Jeakins were unable to get their lorry to my front door but again the guys didn’t grumble and carried everything from the roadside up the drive and had the job completed in a few hours. Top, professionally and polite service. Thank you.

Moving is one of the most stressful times in your life but the guys at Jeakins made it as stress free as possible! They provided all the packing materials and were able to fit us in at short notice due to our move being delayed several months! On the day of moving the two guys were punctual and had a massive van so there was no worry about all our stuff fitting! They were methodical and quick but took care with everything they moved. Very impressed! and the price was reasonable too - especially as that included all the packing materials!

Nothing was too much trouble despite moving into a house on 3 levels - highly recommended don’t go anywhere else and also very keen pricing.. worth every penny!!

If I had the opportunity to move in the future I will definitely choose Jeakins. My house sale unfortunately didn't go through so I didn't get to move, explaining why my review is delayed! My parents have moved with them multiple times and Jeakins has with held its standards for sure. From the moment my partner rang to book a quote, the process was on the move. Jeakins offered a face to face quotation within the same week. We was visited by a lovely young man who really knew his stuff, I thought it was great that he had experience from being "on the road" as well as quoting it really did stand out to us compared to other quoters we had prior. I will definitely be using Jeakins now its a little in to the new year and our house is back up for sale!

I would like to say what a stress free day when moving... thanks to Jeakins! the men were on time and ready to get going. The three men were very helpful and reassured me to sit back and let them do everything. Within no time we was all loaded up and on our way! William, what a credit you are to Jeakins Removals... overall from start to finish our moving process was a success and may I dare even say flawless given the circumstances of our move!

Cannot recommend Jeakins highly enough. From initial visit to assess our moving needs right through to move day they were excellent. We had the full packing service which made our move as easy as these things can be. The team we had were fantastic and my goodness do they work hard. Jeakins offer a fabulous service that we found no fault at anytime with and they offer extremely good value for money. Everything was so well packed and we and our home were moved from Essex to the Peterborough area with great care. Really cannot hesitate to recommend
