Jeakins Removals Reviews 

We previously used Jeakins 22 years ago to move and decided to use them again to do our recent move. They provided an excellent service from start to finish. Many thanks to Michelle, Vicky and William who were a great help to me when I needed information and reassurance having not moved for such a long time.
Both teams on the Thursday and Friday were excellent; they arrived, told us what they were going to be doing and efficiently and carefully moved our belongings into the removal van and then into our new home. We cannot praise the service they provided enough!
They made what could have been a very stressful day a lot less stressful and I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Absolutely amazing removal team , from Vicky in the office, to William who I also spoke to who was very reassuring & professional, answering the many questions I had.

On the moving day the lorry turned up on time , all of the men were very polite, careful & really efficient . Their calm demeanour made a massive difference on a stressful day. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We moved on the Friday & by the Sunday I had already recommended the company to a friend . Excellent service !

My 88 year old mother was moving from Essex to be near us in Cambridgeshire. They came and surveyed her home and came up with a quote quickly. There are so many firms to chose from and many just gave a quote over the phone. With Jeakins you felt they were professional and though the quote was more expensive than some of the others it was worthwhile having the confidence with them.
Dave and Ben turned up on time before we arrived from Cambridgeshire and treated my Mother with respect. They were quick and cheerful.
Though when they were ready to go their van wouldn’t start but after 5 mins of coaxing it they were on their way. When we arrived they had already started unloading (we had told them to do so) and the lads were efficient. So it’s worthwhile going with a professional company for peace of mind and Jeakins are that.

I used Jeakins to move house - they were v. flexible on the moving date (which changed several times), all the boxes came well ahead of time so I could start packing early on - and on the day they were super efficient - cleared house v quickly and unloaded with no problems at the new property. Their rates were very good. I would recommend them absolutely.

I moved a few weeks ago and also used Jeakins packing service. I cannot fault the whole process at all. The team were quick, efficient, friendly and made the whole thing so easy for me. Big shout out to William! Highly recommend!

Nothing but praise- boys were lovely. Took control on arrival which really alleviated the stress of moving. No damage on arrival and unloaded all our things quickly and everything was placed in the rooms we wanted.

Very rarely do I find myself writing positive reviews nowadays but I can honestly despite my reservation of seeing some negative reviews against Jeakins I decided to use them, Mainly because the reviews I did see where what I felt was a little unjust and it only take a few of these to destroy a company. The move itself involved moving a large home in Essex to Lincoln and it went perfectly, the guys were spot on and did everything with care and attention. They even went to the length of unloading a lorry that same day just so we had our beds for the night. The brilliant team and company even the office took the time to reassure me along the way. We moved at a very short notice and chose Jeakins removals to help with the move. William and Harry came the day before and packed our entire house with care and attention to detail. Paul, Barry, Albert and Jordan came the next day and loaded up the contents quickly and efficiently into the removal vans. Nothing was broken or damaged during the move and unloading was done with care. They even come to pickup the packaging material once you have finished unpacking. Their prices are highly competitive and provide a good value for money. We would highly recommend Jeakins removals.

If you have no problems, the removal guys are brilliant, We unfortunately had the worst experience with the office and removal day ruined. Firstly, the packing service. Done the day before, sent 2 men to pack a 5 bed house. Therefore moving day, house not ready. 7 men allocated, I poorly (no problem) 3 sent to do another job first, didn't get to us till 3pm ish. 3 men to finish the packing and load huge lorry, didnt finish till 4.30pm. As it was a new build and hour and a half drive, couldn't get keys till next day. Damage to wall moving out, five months later still no word to our buyers, they had to repair themselves. Experience with office shocking, were not interested. received a very small compensation which didn't even cover the cost to keep our cleaner on all day, she had to help to pack too. I would never recommend this company again. Be aware

Great service from the team of 3 that moved us. They swept through our flat and had everything packed and loaded into their van so quickly it seemed effortless. They were all incredibly friendly and did their best to look after everything with care. Would highly recommend as a local company who are honest with the quotes and provide excellent service!

Ben and the lorry driver (sorry for not remembering he’s name) did a great job. We’ve been very happy with they service.
We could not believe how much stuff we have. It never looks like that when it’s put away. We did have some very fragile and heavy items and guys took extra special care handling it. I was very surprised how quickly everything was done. On the arrival to the new house they put down protective sheets on the brand new carpet to make sure there was no damage. They took extra care when moving the heavy items to each room. Everything was placed where we wanted without any complaints.
I can highly recommend Jeakins removals service. They might not look the cheapest at the beginning but once they get to work you will quickly see that they are worth every penny.
One bit of advice:
Before you pack up your kitchen make sure you leave things to make a tee. They will 100% ask you for a cuppa.

Great team and great company - Totally recommend.

We had a complicated move a couple of hundred miles away which required 2 trucks on one day and another a couple of days later. Plus a flatbed after this for the last item.

Michelle and Derek provided the estimation of volume and packing of trucks was absolutely spot on and demonstrated years of experience, the details ran like clockwork, Vicki was also very supportive and provided reassurance.

The removal team Derek, Lewis, Stephen, Reg, Paul. Mick, Ben and Jordon were outstanding and totally professional, nothing was too much bother. We also had another team move a large item and again the guys were great.

On move day the team turned up and put as ease straight away, they worked non stop to empty the areas on both days.
On arrival of the new place, our stuff was loaded into containers on site and the guys put a lot of thought into the load in and has made our life since the move much easier accessing the crates etc.
We were not onsite during the load in but it demonstrates what an amazing team.
The final move and load was also seamless and we were present at the k e in on this day.

A big thank you to the team, the drivers and porters you were amazing.

We totally would recommend to anyone moving and If we move again will be the team we use.

Am very impressed with the service provided by Jeakins. On our moving day we were moved by Steve and Mick who were amazing. They did not complain despite a 3 hour delay! They worked efficiently and were friendly and polite. They clearly took pride in their work and took care of our belongings! Would highly recommend them.

Jeakins Removals helped us move house on Friday and I cannot thank them enough for an amazing experience. Having had a stressful few weeks prior to the move it was down to the lads at Jeakins who did an amazing job with our move. A special thank you to Kyle, Dave, Albert and Harry (I really hope I have all those names correct). Jeakins are amazing and I would 100% recommend them to anyone moving house.
