Dishonesty
I returned to John Clark Mini Tayside after purchasing my vehicle a couple years prior. I was advised by the sales representative at the time of purchase that it included a service plan via John Clark (not Mini). Therefore I made the 160 mile round trip, driving past at least 2 closer Mini garages en route. Whilst there I decided to look at a new vehicle. Here I was advised that the sales representative I had bought my car from was known to be inconsistent with their paperwork and as such there wasn’t an active service plan in place, but I was offered a free service if I ordered a car. I was happy with the deal I was offered on a new car, and placed an order. Unfortunately I have had to cancel the order. Understandably, John Clark wished to recoup the cost of the service. Unfortunately the sales representative inflated the price of the service to reclaim a higher amount. Only because I had a text from the service department was I able to pay the correct price. I just wanted to highlight here the dishonesty that I have experienced, which is extremely disappointing. I have since bought a car elsewhere.

Couldn’t be more helpful
Went out of their way to help with delivery of my car. Matthew, who delivered my car, was especially helpful and even though it was at the end of his working day, he took his time to show me some changes. Though there was initially an issue getting through to change my service plan, Val, at the service desk, was also very helpful and had a lovely personality. It makes such a change to be treated so nicely. Well done Mini Tayside
