Fantastic service from Lewis S. I’m delighted with my new vehicle and the way Lewis dealt with everything in a speedy manor was brilliant. He even came in on his day off so I could take delivery of my Nissan GtR!

Lewis was exemplary. I didn't think I was going to be able to afford a new car and almost gave up, but Lewis pulled out all the stops, reassured me and did everything he could to make it happen for us. We're now the proud owners of a Nissan Juke and couldn't be happier. Thankyou so much Lewis!!

A huge thank you to James McNaught from Specialist Cars Nissan Aberdeen. He has been instrumental in my purchase of a new used Nissan. Took the time to listen to what I was looking for and was able to meet the brief above and beyond my expectations. One very happy customer.😁

In showroom experience was great, well looked after, with courteous service at all times. Only reason for not 5-starts was delay in delivery of car, but pulled a rabbit out of the hat with a different colour option.

I thought the quality of the service had went down, not in terms of teh actual work being carried out but the communication was not great and their knowldege of my car was poor given that I have only ever had my servicing done with them and had a service plan. Alos online booking service didn't work. Booked someone picking up my vehicle from work place only to be phoned later to be told that was not available.

A review. Often an excuse for a bleat. So I feel obliged to as far as possible to furnish the facts without descending into rant.
I saw my Alfa Mito QV on the first of May 2023 and as I have driven a manual version of this car for eight years trouble free motoring, I parted with and transferred the funds the next day for LG15KVX.
The car came with six months warranty and 48K miles on the clock.
I was told at the viewing the bonnet could not be opened to view as the catch was broken but that this issue would be rectified before delivery.
However delivery took two dates to pass without delivery.
A third date was established and I stipulated that if the car failed to materialise as specified and the bonnet catch issue resolved , or a refund.
Various excuses were proffered for non delivery such as parts availability and even a delivery driver breaking the catch again! A full month had passed since the sale.
The outcome was the car delivered this time at the third attempt but the release catch still inoperable .
I informed JC Nissan from whom the car was purchased.
The response was to offer a courtesy car and an assurance that it would this time be repaired to my satisfaction and that an extended warranty of a further six months on top of the existing one valued at £300 Gratis.
This was offered by Ross McConville sales manager at JC Nissan.
This for some reason resulted in my car being assigned to
JC Renault Dacia thereafter.
Before the car was recovered by the above I had at last the chance to drive the car I had purchased over a month previously.
It was at this point I discovered a disturbing knocking noise coming from the front nearside. I reported this and a courtesy car was delivered ( the only time one was offered) and my car was uplifted.
When the car was finally returned the bonnet catch working and the knocking resolved. This was a suspension issue which would have resulted in an MOT failure.
But now the steering wheel was no longer centred being a significant few degrees to the right. Presumably due to the repair.
Shortly after this the car seriously let me down at a particularly inopportune moment by failing to engage gear from neutral.
This prompted an AA rescue and a subsequent return to JC Renault.
Their solution was it was “probably” the battery being defective . This by the way was not covered by the warranty, and I was obliged to pay over £200 .
The car at this point was not subject to analysis as I was not charged for this which is required as a warranty condition.
But I did have an analysis report supplied by the AA at the time of recovery but the service department were not interested.
The point we are now at is the battery was not a solution and the car let us down again with the same transmission fault. Again this failure occurred at a potentially dangerous juncture.
The car has again been returned to Aberdeen and to date JC Specialist cars have had the car longer than I have!
To date 08/ 11/ 23 JC Renault has had the car 22 days and the service department still have not diagnosed the problem. I am informed they are very busy.
The AA supplied diagnosis strongly suggest the transmission control module TCM is at fault. This component is relatively cheap at £102 retail including VAT.
The conclusion I am left with is JC Specialist cars maxim reads “ Do nothing, do as little as possible and take as long as possible to do it “
This means your warranty is eroded and costs as little as possible to the insurer JC Motors.
The £300 gratuity by the way has been ghosted and no courtesy car.
Yours Derek Blyth.

Just completed my latest car purchase from Specialist Cars Nissan Aberdeen. I have been delighted with each of the Nissan cars I bought (petrol and now returned to full electric). I have been retired for a good few years now and i have dealt with many different dealerships and franchises over many years. With no hesitation I can confirm that Specialist Cars Nissan have exceeded my expectations. In taking the time and in making the effort to identify the best options to satisfy their clients needs is a most refreshing experience and approach on their part. My thanks to Alan Bell who dealt with a previous purchase of mine showing great patience when my needs changed due to a medical issue on my part. Then today my latest acquisition was again handled in the most pleasant, relaxed and efficient manner by James McNaught. I have every confidence in the quality and service they provided.

I have been looking around at various dealers with a view to changing my car and saw one I liked at John Clark Specialist Cars.
The salesman who took my initial call, Matthew Rose, was extremely helpful, sending me a personal video of the car, with a follow up call to check that I had all the information I needed to consider a purchase.
Matthew went out of his way to meet my needs, which resulted in a deal I was happy with.
I would like to give a big thank you to Matthew and the sales team for their efforts to meet my needs.
All in all a very pleasurable experience.

Great service for selling the car but pretty bad after care service.
I had the car couple hours and already a fault. Was put in and then told they had to order the part, rearranged for it to go back in which it has been and AGAIN it has to go back in as it needs another part. Told them the issues and that wasn’t rectified either. 3 times now. I don’t live in Aberdeen so it’s not easy to get it in and get picked up.
Phone call from sales manager to talk with my issues and service and no word back. Ongoing issues and I have been left disappointed as it was good up until now.

I have just picked up my new car and I love it. Lewis was great at communicating with me and making sure the car was ready for me when I went to collect it. The car is spotless and so far I have absolutely no faults. I would definitely recommend anyone to buy a car from this garage as they were great. I got a really good vibe of everyone there as they were all so friendly. Thank you :)

Bought a Nissan Ariya (over £50k) and when they were taking the plastic off the seats they slashed the leather on one of the seats so has agreed to replace the seat. Once seat was in stock arranged to take the car in. Was told it would take just a couple of hour so agreed to drop it off on my way to work so I wouldn’t need a courtesy car. Went back to collect the car and was told the repair wouldn’t be ready until next day. They said they would provide me with a car to get home. Got in the courtesy and there was only 20mins of fuel left which wasn’t enough to get me home so had to put fuel in this car to get me back. Came back to the dealership next day to collect the car and the staff wouldn’t sign off the repair as such a poor job had been done. Service manager advised the seat had either arrived damaged or been damaged on installation. Service manager apologised and promised me they would get this right and have a new part ready in a few days. Two weeks later have had absolutely no contact at all. Given this is my first experience with the KC Nissan service team I am regretting buying a service plan from them. The service has been nothing short of a disgrace.
